I came here with my dad on the weekends before I moved. The staff is very, very kind and the people there are friendly too. It can get cramped at times, and due to the fact that this is an indoor range, if youre next to a guy with 357. and up it can get a little too loud. Highest caliber to shoot here is 308. The reactive targets are crazy fun too.
Clean and well maintained facility. Helpful and professional staff. The reactive steel range is particularly challenging and fun!
Great facility, great people
We walked in asking for opening and we were 5 ppl, the Front desk staff was rudely speaking and very unprofessional !! We drove all the way from Everett to Bothell so we can practice and have some fun but unfortunately we got turned down for no response! I wouldn’t recommend this place for others whatsoever
The annual membership is a trap and a bad deal. You are locked in for $400 a year for one person, or $800 for the two person membership. The cancellation fee is $100. The two person membership is treated as two memberships, so the cancellation fee there is $200. Again, its a bad deal and I cant recommend anyone sign up for it.
First time been here; had a trail pass for $25 plus tax. very close to my place. like it. may consider a member ship in future.
Great shopping range rated up to .308 thinking about becoming a member
Great indoor range. Clean. Knowledgeable and helpful staff.
Just got the annual red white and blue! I actually love that it’s a membership shooting range. If you want to shoot once a year, try the other places around and watch the experience in the lanes next to you.....PASADENA. If you carry, you should shoot at least 2 times a month to stay sharp and comfortable. It’s nice to stop by and not have to wait for a public lane to open up like a bowling alley, nothing wrong with paying a premium to have a better experience and have your own place😉 and for the complainers, an annual membership ends up costing you less than $9 a week, if that seems like a lot, maybe try the woods👌
I found this shooting range to have friendly staff that are willing to just talk about their product without any pressure of sales. Their prices are very reasonable and they offer great membership. I even bought something from their partner store, discount guns, which is located inside of the same building.
The folks running this place are awesome, the employees are super friendly, the facility is clean and range itself is extremely well ventilated. I always feel welcomed when I show up. The monthly payment plan option makes it very accessible and affordable. If you enjoy the sport, this is the spot to vote for with your dollars, and I plan to continue to do so for the foreseeable future. Thank you SSNW, yall good folks!
I was up visiting family and my brother-in-law brought me here as his guest. All I have to say is....I like this range! The process to check in as a guest was painless and the staff great. I look forward to patronizing this business whenever Im in town. Thanks for a fantastic first time experience at your range.
I had great first time experience at the range . The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and helpful with the all of the questions I had about buying a firearm . I did end up buying a firearm from them and can’t wait to pick it up . Mahalos🤙🏽 to all the staff there
Great range with helpful staff. Ive been a member for 6 or 7 years, and gladly pay the membership fee for unlimited shooting. Plus, they have one of a few non LE/Military reactive steel target bays in the country.
I felt welcomed and informed. First time shooting a gun and I did cry and was scared but I was glad to have my husband with me. Only issue is its pretty expensive. It was basically $125 for me and him to share ammo and a gun, and just walk in with nothing, and want to shoot with no membership. Lets just say it was an expensive date night lol
First time here transferring a gun to a friend. Had a great experience with staff really helpful and excellent customer service. Also finding out they have a gun range is a huge plus! Will recommend to all. Will be coming back soon.
I would not recommend this place. Very unprofessional and they almost make you buy a membership in order to enjoy the experience. The process is quite long just to shoot and employees are rude to the point that you question their abilities on the range.I shot without a RSO being there which made me question why do I have to watch a dumb outdated instructional video. I give this place one star only because it’s the lowest I can go.
The place is really good but two of the workers were very rude with me and my son, I don’t recommend this place. Client is first
I shoot here a few times a week. The people working here are very courteous and friendly. I enjoy it so much I went ahead and bought a year membership. They dont typically have a lot of inventory in the gun shop section, but Ive had good success in getting whatever I want ordered in a timely fashion to include some NFA stuff. Very laid back atmosphere.
Way too expensive for an annual membership without any other cheaper option like other gun ranges offer. some people like myself wont be able to go to the range that often to justify paying 400 plus which by the way is just a few more hundred dollars away from buying a decent firearm. there are other ranges near by with more flexible options as far as membership is concerned. check them out.....
Great service and support friendly staff. Honestly one of the best ranges Ive been too. Very reasonable price too. Highly recommend
Just went there today with my sister and we used the $25 day pass. It was a great experience, all the employees were very nice and were always eager to help. The facility felt very modern and well kept. We also rented 3 guns for $20 which was pretty reasonable. My only complaint was that the selection of rifles that they had up for rent wasnt nearly as big as what the pictures had showed which was quite disappointing. However that was not enough for me to take off a star as the whole experience was still great. Will seriously consider buying a long term membership here!
So awesome, my wife brought me here as a surprise date night. Staff was super helpful and friendly. Had lots of fun thinking about membership ammo was decent price definitely recommend coming here
Great customer service. Shipped my 870 police through them and it works perfectly
Great staff, Jake is a great teacher. I am self taught and Jake showed me a lot of things I was doing wrong. I shot a lot better after that lesson. Way too go!!!
This place is awesome. Range facility is very nice, you have the ability to shoot paper as well as interactive steel targets (no other facility in the area has this). If you dont bring your own gun to shoot they have an big selection of guns that you can rent and try out. After shooting they have a store inside where you can buy guns, ammo, cleaning equipment, accessories, etc. They even offer a lounge area with flat screens and gun magazines to peruse. Yes this place is more expensive then other facilities in the area, but in this particular case you get what you pay for and then some.
Good range with friendly staff. Usually it is not too busy. I go there almost every week.
So far I must say I love this place!! I just joined via one year full membership. cost $400 out the door. with that I can come in everyday if I like, and I can shoot for an entire 8 hours if I like. no limitations! and no extra fees or lane costs on top of it like some of the other reviews have mentioned. walk in, scan my card, start shooting, leave when I fell like it. bring plenty of your own ammo because its very expensive to buy from the in house store; because they know you need it. the place is very modern, very clean, very nice. the staff is just a bunch of friendly guys who I could talk shop with all day. ive read some of the other reviews on here about their prices and what is NOT included in their year long memberships. apparently theyve changed a bit in this regard. the membership I paid for includes free locker, free use of the cleaning stations, both the cleaning bench and the ultra sonic machine, four free gun rentals a year with 3 guns each, I can bring two guests in for free up to four times a year, plus two free targets upon each visit, which I believe is standard for all members. the target rails have never jammed on me and there is always a safety guy in the range at all times, as far as I could tell. and the air ventilation system is very nice as well. no complaints!! I will be renewing my membership next year!
I currently have a 3 month membership, but am considering extending it to one year. I think the guest fee is a little high, and a little disappointed in the fact that they dont offer military discounts, but I really enjoy the range. Staff is helpful, polite and very professional. Range is clean and well ran. Havent shot the steel pop-ups yet, but it looks like alot of fun!
One of the best indoor gun ranges. Store front helps if you need more ammo or cleaning supplies. RSOs are friendly but diligent. One of the only ranges Ive seen with a pop-up steel target range (which is excellent for rapid target acquisition and stability drills).
Nice facility. Not a lot of choices in the area. Make sure you have good ear protection if youre not use to shooting indoors. I like the retractable target feature. You can pick and choose your distances out to 25 yards. Some ranges have you stuck at 25 yards and you can only retrieve your target after 30 minutes. You can shoot a lot of ammo and punch a lot of holes in a target in 30 minutes.
Great staff 👍🏻 Very friendly, helpfull, great atmosphere, I’ve been in a lot of shooting range but this is the best so far, keep up the good work guys, cheers
Had no idea this range existed until a few weeks ago and its way closer for me. Its still pretty new and the staff is very helpful. I joined on the premier membership so I can shoot my handguns and my shotgun, and also with the reactive steel. The store inside is nice because I dont have to drive somewhere else to buy new guns.
Great range and very friendly service. The guys here are knowledgeable and easy to work with.
This is the best range I’ve been too it’s very reasonable and very well kept and super clean the staff and people there are beyond friendly, easy to talk too and they will answer any questions you might have I highly recommend this place
My favorite gun range! Attentive RSOs, warn people who are not being safe, willing to kick out people that continue. Lots of gun rental options. Inexpensive monthly membership.
Great range! Friendly knowledgeable staff and a good selection of guns to rent before you buy.
Im a huge fan of the staff and the facility. Im rusty in my skills and the staff has been great with advice and recommendations.
Very nice range. Nice helpful staff.
Jake and crew make you feel right at home.reactive targets are sweet
This place does not treat there MEMBERS like members at ALL.... I canceled my membership over 1 year ago. This was because of the way they treated a member and a friend of mine. I felt that they went over the line and I decided to take my membership elsewhere. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR CREDIT CARD INFO.. They have been charging my Mastercard $38 for over a year now...They refuse to reimburse the money that they STOLE from me.. I WILL UPDATE this review when I hear from them on this matter.
The ProShop Staff was very helpful in helping me select a weapon. I was looking for a revolver that could be used for hunting and have versatile uses. I ended up purchasing the Ruger Blackhawk 0306, .357 4.6. The range staff is very friendly and the range instructor is prior service Marine with an extensive background in weapons. Pricing is compatible with Wades and West Coast Armory.
The metal pop up targets are great!
My review really is a 50/50 of like versus safety. I have been a member of SSN for several months now and it is a nice facility. Pricing is veryexpensive like any range but could use a bit of a reduction. Discount Gun Sales is located inside the range and they offer a fair selection for a range shop. They need to take the word Discount off of their name as firearms are $100 to $200 higher than Wal-Mart and Ammo is way overpriced. After reading the above, you may think that I do not like the facility but that is not the case. The staff (99%) is amazing. They care about your needs and are always friendly. David who works in store is incredible. This guy will give you an amazing education and fit you for the perfect firearm and accessories. The range itself is clean and is seldom busy. This is about where my positives stop though. On Super Bowl Sunday I tool my son in to shoot his .22. There were 5 people in the range and 5 lanes filled. As I was reloading my A/R, I see two guys pointing their handguns at the wall, my lane and the floor trying to clear jams. I looked around for the Range Safety Officer and he was not there. I walk to the front desk and the RSO is checking customers in and selling product. I asked if he was the only RSO and he said yes and I told him about the issue in the range. New gun owners shooting handguns for the first time in a range with NO RANGE SAFETY OFFICER. The RSO looked at me and could care less. I went back to the range, packed up my great and left. The other employee working gave me an email and phone number for one of the owners, Brett Shields and I contacted him to share my concern. I left him a voice mail and still to this date, several weeks later, I have not heard back from him. It really makes you wonder if they care about safety of their members or the money spent. The sad part is I took my son back to the range and the same RSO was working by himself again. Needless to say, we turned around and walked right out the door. I prepaid for a year so I am stuck for several months. I am hoping something changes to improve safety of the club but I am not holding my breath since I cannot even get one of the owners to call me back...
Why I came here:I went here with a referral pass from Discount Gun Sales in Lake City (they have great service and good prices there). I was trying to compare memberships between here and West Coast Armory (because I live closer to it); they are far from each other, but I have relatives who live close to this location. The first and last visit:I walked in and they employees were very welcoming. One of them asked what kind of firearm I purchased and I showed him. He picked it up and started pointing it at the front windows (where customers walk in) and at people. At one point, he pointed it at his fellow employee. The other employee was smart enough to move away... This one employee didnt follow the four rules of safety, and it was disappointing seeing as he works at a shooting range. It was just a weird experience; I didnt like it.They were nice, but I didnt feel like it was as professional as West Coast Armory, where I took their Right on Target handgun course. I told Shooting Sports Northwest that I took a class at WCA and was shopping around for memberships. They started bad mouthing WCA, saying it was dirty and not managed well. I got the opposite impression. WCA was cleaner, better lit, and better managed compared to this place. Employees at Shooting Sports Northwest are over-confident, arrogant, and have no knowledge of the market. I am not interested in being a member of a place like this because it means that you get that macho-we-are-better-than-everyone-else business attitude which is bad for customers because I feel they arent interesting in improving their facilities. It would be a terrible investment and I highly recommend you find another range from whatever direction you are coming from.Prices:I wanted to buy some 9mm ammo to shoot there (even though I brought a box with me), and they were charging $25 for 50 cartridges. It was Winchester 9mm FMJ 115gr target ammo, nothing special. In addition, there were no price tags on the items, so the employee could have been just trying to pull a fast one. At West Coast Armory, I get Federal 9mm FMJ 115gr target ammo for $15. Its a huge ripoff here. Their membership is monthly and their website sucks, so you dont get any updates if the range closes for one reason or another.Whats redeeming, and why it really doesnt matter:Sure the lounge area is nice, but I have no interest in hanging around and talking to the employees if they are not going to follow the four rules of safety. The range is token based, so you have to have an employee activate your lane, which is kind of annoying. Employees dont really monitor the lanes, like WCA does, so it doesnt feel as safe. The steel reactive targets are a differentiating feature, but you have to use certain kinds of ammo, which I assume is overpriced. How they can improve:Have employees go through a safety refresher. Make them follow the four rules of safety and lead by example. Ensure that employees have a more humble attitude, Shooting Sports Northwest isnt the best, so dont act like it; it hurts the consumer not to improve, because there is less perceived future value. Lower your prices to market levels and put price tags on your items so that there isnt any discretionary uncertainty on price. Dont waste customer time. Chats are nice, but I was held up for like 20 minutes talking about nothing, when I just wanted to walk in and shoot (the tour was informative, however). It took way too long for me to get into the range.
2nd year shooting at ssnw, puchased glock 17 and a colt le m4 carbine. Staff are great, members are not creeps. Im love there new membership fees. Make sure you get a zombie target! :)
I took a beginners handgun class and the insructors were helpful and did not make me feel silly for being new. The facility is clean, and offers new sales, used sales, accessories, and a shooting range.
These ranges vary in the type of rental guns compared to nearby shooting ranges.Other shooting ranges around here can be rented with guns that use various ammunition, such as 45ACP, 9mm, .223, 7.65mm, 5.7mm, etc., while only lenders can borrow or use only 22LR.However, in order to rent a firearm, a firearm owner can not rent firearms alone because he or she already owns a firearm or rents it only for groups of two or more people. This part has the same rules as other shooting ranges. When you visit, please bring your photo in English as it is required. For those who specialize in shooting or have a deep hobby, there is an opinion that the condition of the rental gun may be unsatisfactory, but this is not a problem for those who want to enjoy it lightly. In addition, the price of about $ 60 per person (ammunition price separately) enters here because it also serves as a gun gun ammunition can be purchased immediately.
