Very professional and thorough install. Went out of their way to make sure all components fit decor of home. Very satisfied with system and install. Highly recommend to others.
I really like the ADT system, everything for the most part works perfect, wasnt able to keep my motion sensor in the garage since it was a little too far from the modem, even with the help of a booster. One thing I wish the system did, as far as my backyard camera, is give notifications of movement or something when its happening, such as a vehicle prowler. Or maybe it does and Im missing something? My Arlo camera I got for my newborn would be a good example, that any movement she makes I get a text or notification, and I can set up the area in which I want to watch, so that anything outside the area I created isnt being picked up. But other than that, I like what Ive purchased.

Just have to report an exceptional in-person experience with a technician from ADT Security Services. Joel was prompt, professional and courteous; you cant teach manners to some but Joel had them in spades! Plus, he fixed and updated my security system! I highly recommend ADT.
Our ADT system is at least 20 years old. It has functioned properly for all those years until recently, when it wouldn’t shut off properly at the panel. We called for service. The technician called a few minutes before the start of the time window to give us his ETA, and showed right on time. He was very personable, professional and knowledgeable. He diagnosed the problem in minutes and replaced 3 components, all of which he had on his truck! The whole visit was about 15-20 minutes and cost me nothing! Life is good!
Phone support totally incapable of explaining the unusual behavior I was experiencing with my newly replaced system compared to how the old system worked. So they scheduled a truck roll and the tech very easily explained how the new system differed in behavior. For this I was billed a $25 travel charge. Really ADT? Maybe thats how they like it... bolstering revenue?[05-03-2021 Update]After some missteps with their response to my review, ADT has done the right thing by crediting my account and promising to take strides in improving their phone support organization. As such Ive increased my star rating from 3 to 4.
BUYER BEWARE: the early cancellation fee is HUGE. ADT isnt transparent when communicating contract requirements. If you need to end a contract early, you pay 75% of the contract balance. I cancelled my system 3 years early because I was relocating. I moved to an apartment building with keyed access. I was charged $1,200 for the cancellation!!! I was a customer for 15 years, at two different residences. Absolutely *not* customer facing and theyve lost a customer for life.
Ashton was extremely helpful, professional and very knowledgeable and extremely personable and patient. He took the time to educate us as well as ensuring everything was exactly how we wanted it (he even relocated our sensor after he already installed it due to a miscommunication between my husband and I) he had a positive attitude the entire time he was here and the job took longer due to complications with the structure of my house and yet he remained in great spirits. I highly recommend him!!!

The ADT technician Christopher set up my ADT system yesterday. He was professional, polite and answered all my questions. He knew what he was doing. He is a great asset to ADT Security. Extremely happy with the service!

Normally ADT is great, customer service is great. But their transition to 4G using the cellbridge is a disaster. The connection is spotty and im getting repeated calls from an automated message saying that my connection is off. Getting a call from ADT throughout the day is pretty alarming.UPDATE:Technician came by 3 hours late. Supposed to swap out a faulty cellbridge and install a new digital panel. Did NOTHING and left. Wasted a whole day to be here for him. Was 2* but now, had to drop it down to 1*. Hopefully, i can get some help.
My technician was on time and did excellent work. He took the time to address my extra problems, even though he was on a tight schedule. He worked fast and effectively.

Nothing but problems since we got the system. ADT is completely incapable of making our system work as advertised or contracted. They use three different websites to control the thing (!) and don’t talk to each other. Techs get sent out without the proper parts, even when they’ve told us what they need. Calling Monday to have the system removed, I’ve had enough of this not ready for prime time Mickey Mouse “service”. I tried to give zero stars, but couldn’t.
I asked for an appointment as was set up for a same-day visit. The technician was timely, knowledgeable, and showed me several things. ADT has always done very well. for us. Thank you, ADT.
Been with ADT for 5+ years.. the service was good until now when I did not have a need to contact them. But when I reached out to them recently about a faulty sensor. It took them 1+ month to send a technician home. It’s really painful to wake up in middle of night by burglary alarm due to a faulty sensor for 30 days. The technician comes home and the issue appears again the same night. Not sure if it’s worth calling again and wait for another month for someone to show up.
If I could give 0 stars I would, we have been customers of ADT for over 27 years, recently had a total system failure, they sent out a tech 10 days later and we thought problem was resolved however it happened again. Called to get another appointment which was another 10 days out and in the mean time via telephone we upgraded to new system and program for another 3 years. When next technician came out 10 days later and over 2.5 hours late, it was determined our internet was not correct for the new equipment so the technician left and we upgraded the internet connection and called back for another appointment only to be told the next available appointment is not for another 2.5 weeks! Going to see if I can find another provider.
Our doorbell camera failed while we were on vacation, having ADT replace it with a new camera was a great relief !
If you want to have a lot of problems and look how ADT break your rights, hire ADT. If you want to live happy NEVER HIRE ADT.

Ron Rogers was a friendly, personable, knowledgeable, diligent and professional technician. Electrical changes to our system, as well as upgrades needed to be done. He not only completed them throughly, but was tidy. Anyone would be fortunate to have Ron service their security system.

Wow! I have been in customer service a long time and was impressed by the service I got from your installer. I just upgraded to the pulse system and the installer(Ryan Brown) was awesome. HE was knowledgeable and efficient. His work was neat and done in a timely manner. HE was on time and answered all the questions I had for him. HE helped me set up my phone and stuff on my computer. Great customer service is what I received from you ADT installer Ryan. HE does a good job representing you company. Ana was also on site putting my cameras and she was also just as awesome.
Oleksandr Prymachuk, ADT, replaced part of our 2005 equipment with a newer version. We were more than pleased with his friendly demeanor, knowledge and efficiency. He made sure that our system was working 100% to our satisfaction before he left our home, and answered all our questions - highly recommend ADT and Oleksandr!
Ive been a customer for 3+ years. I need to cancel because their tech is obsolete. Their business model seems to be centered around not letting people cancel. You cant cancel on the website. You have to call during business hours. Ive been on hold for almost an hour. So, in that time Ill just write a post about all of the other ways you can protect your home. 1) A $100 camera on Amazon. 2) Any other way. 3) Just buy the sign online. According to the on hold voice, homes with the sign are three times less likely to be burglarized. Theres a ton on ebay.
The service installation I received from Josh today was amazing and his customer service skills were above average, in my opinion. While I have had ADT installations in other homes, and the technicians were kind, Josh was friendly and VERY knowledgeable about the ADT products. I didnt ever feel pressured to make a decision or add a product to my system either. He was patient and made himself available for all of my questions throughout the process. When the installation was finished, he walked me through all of the functions of my system, and I believe he was very thorough.
Install was great but subsequent customer service is non-existent, at best. Its more like they are totally irritated that you even call. They told me (on my second attempt to get help changing my passcode) to just call 911 if I felt uncomfortable. Excuse me, thats why I spend so much freaking money on this security system?! Complete waste of money, go elsewhere if you want customer service after install/big payment.
I moved into a home that already had ADT security . I have never used a security service before. So I decided to try it out. Why not! The couple who owned the home really liked ADT and said it would be easy to just transfer To my name . 🏡. GUESS WHAT? IT WAS 😊!! The ADT employee, Benjamin, arrived on time, on a holiday, ( Monday 1-21-19). This 22 year old man was intelligent, kind, thoughtful, and excellent at his job . By this I mean he did not try to sell or install equipment that I had no idea how to use, let alone understand. He checked every single device that ADT originally had on the premises. When I thought he could not possibly do any more . HE DID!!! He replaced batteries that didn’t work in motion detectors, if equipment was questionable he repaired or replaced it .😊. He kindly explained to me the things I might want to address when I became more comfortable with technology. This is how, “customer service” use to be in the “GOOD OLD DAYS “ . He did add one device!! A KEY FOB!😊. WOW I REALLY ACTUALLY DO NEED THAT! It’s nice to know the kind of people ADT employees. People with, “INTEGRITY “. NOW THAT REALLY DOES MAKES ME FEEL “SAFE.”🏡 ALL THIS WAS LESS THAN $30.00. NOW ADT, keep this young man Benjamin and hire more like him. You have a new life long customer and free advertisement from me.THANKS I DO FEEL MUCH SAFER 🏡
Jamey was a delightful technician to work with! He explained the process clearly and I knew exactly what I was getting my business into before starting the job. The install was quick and done under the time he quoted to take. Jamey took time to explain every aspect of the system and the online features. 10/10 would work with him again in this process.
Had Ryan Brown as our technician. He was amazing! Early, personable, and extremely knowledgeable of all ADT products. He can instruct basic things or go much deeper into the security you request. I highly recommend ADT and hope you get Ryan.
Had a great experience with Ron Rogers of ADT during my install. Reasonable complicated install in an existing 4 story and they handled it well. While pretty much impossible to hide all the wiring given the construction the final install was clean and as unobtrusive as they could make it. In addition, when an installed location for window contacts did not look quite right due to the size of the contacts, Ron corrected the problem with another solution and no questions asked. I recommend Ron Rogers on an ADT install.
Ron Rogers came out this morning to install our ring doorbell. He did a great job!!!Very professional!!! He went above and beyond training me on the system.It was a little tricky because we have the system set up in our California house, but he did a wonderful job showing me how to go between houses. Because Ron is so knowledgeable, I only want him back in the future.
Terrible service, nothing works, nothing gets fixed, techs come and have no idea what issues they are supposed to address. Would give 0 stars if possible.
David of ADT just left after fixing batteries in the smoke detectors. David is a charming man, he is also helpful, knowledgeable and efficient. We like seeing him and hope he is the one who comes back next time. He gave us excellent advice on a new doorbell with camera .
I have had the worst experience with ADT. They have the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Their salesman will lie to you yelling you one thing and then customer service tells you another. I spoke with 4 different people and every one of them speaks like a robot. They wont answer your question otherwise than what their computer screen tells them to say. I will be canceling my home and business service with them asap. Absolute crooks!

Jeff Kotzman was our technician. He was terrific! He was courteous as well as fun. He made sure that I was comfortable with the system before leaving - and made sure that I understood it too! He was respectful of my home and left everything clean and tidy. Great ambassador for ADT.

Toby came to our home to address several issues with our system. He was very knowledgeable and quick! He solved all of our issues with our system. He was pleasant to deal with and patient with my questions about how the system works and what was wrong. He kindly waited while I made multiple calls to my husband to ensure that everything we needed fixed was communicated correctly. He explained upgrade options without being pushy. We have been ADT customers for 17 years and have been very happy with the service.
Ron R. did a great job getting our system back up and running. We had an older ADT component that wasnt communicating with a newer modem/router. He got our system upgraded and made sure everything was working, all free of charge. He was very friendly and professional. Well definitely call him back if we need help with anything again.

Beware of ADT. I cancelled a month ot two back from their services since my contract ended with them. Then they kept calling me weekly asking if I wanted any of their deals which I have said no to each time. Suddenly today I get an email from they saying I have a overdue payment when I ALREADY CANCELLED. This is just ridiculous and then they switch you between departments and every single person says something different.
This company is excellent! They are flexible with scheduling and do a great job. The techs are professional and friendly. It was comfortable having them come to my home and set up the security. Also, the security system is awsome! I feel safe and it was affordable.
I have had nothing but a bad experience with ADT! They lied to me during the installation process and refuse to let us out of contract despite a technician reporting that the service does not work as described! Since then several technicians have been out and it’s still not working properly! Save your money and time by going anywhere else!!!! As a military family we were depending on ADT for true security not the idea of it!

Yesterday ADT installed a new security system at my home on Whidbey. Phil was the most knowledgeable, polite, helpful and trustworthy installer I have come across in all my years of business. He was a delight to have in my home. I felt safe and like my whole house was in good hands. He installed a very complex set of cameras, detecters and a ring doorbell. He set up everything including the monitor and helped me download the apps I needed to be secure. I highly recommend you ask for Phil and Jeff to install these guys really know their stuff!

Like I said we are now having some trouble with a person who may or may not try to break in to our house. I feel safe and so does everyone else in our household. ADT Bothell: Lead installerRon RogersRon was thorough and detailed in making sure that the security system installed worked as contracted. There were several complications created primarily because of a faulty wi-if system in the house. Nevertheless, he and his colleagues were investigated every possibility until they successful identified the strategy that worked. In addition, he installed the RING systems for both entrances and made sure that the video component also worked. I cannot say enough about his professionalism and attention to detail in every way.
Ana knew exactly how to fix our problem and taught us things about our system wed never learned before. And such a pleasant person you want to ask her to stay for dinner. Plus, she showed up a day early! Thanks, Ana.

I dont even know where to start about this company. I have never seen a service this terrible from a big company like ADT. Be aware how nice they seem when they try to make you sign a contract that is the last time you get anything done from them. After I signed up two accounts for my business with ADT, there was a misunderstanding about one of my account. After I raised my concerned immediately I was given so many numbers to contact to resolve the problem. I almost spend half day trying to resolve the issue by calling many people I was told by the agent to contact till I finally got a call from this location manager and she told me to be patient so she can resolve the issue. This was done purposely to charge me more monthly fees. I was so misleaded by the promise I waited patiently till I got a bill over 1000 dollars telling me I need to pay the entire fee for the remaining contracts since I voluntarily canceled the service. Dont sign up a contract with this company. Dont get misleaded by their promises.
Yep, a five star rating for uninstalling a security system. Justin Dean aka Tech is a rockstar!!!!Justin installed equipment and then because I later learned that I am still under contract with an earlier company; he had to turn around and uninstall it!!!On the installation he was wonderful taking time to thoroughly explain things. Extremely efficient. Then when he returned a week later to uninstall the equipment he was kind, efficient and most helpful. It was an embarrassingly stressful situation for me but Justin never made me feel guilty about his having to come back. He also shared with me the top 5 mistakes that homeowners make even though they have security. Excellent customer relation skills.The company I’m with sucks. They need folks like Justin Dean. KUDOS!!!

Turquoise Pert is the absolute worst recruiter I have ever had the displeasure of working with in my entire career. She will drop the ball and then blame you. She does not listen well or take notes as I told her at least three times the hours in which I was available yet she kept forgetting and trying to call me and set interviews for times I couldnt be available. Yet no one at ADT seems to be concerned. If this is how they staff i d be afraid to become a customer as well.

Set up an appt. Got a confirmation call 3 days prior to appt. They never showed up. When I called them, they said that I cancelled the appt. Interesting. . . Used this company in Texas and had no issues. Looks like ADT is unreliable in Washington.
