I recently moved to the Beacon Hill area and went to linens on the hill for bath towels. The owner was extremely welcoming and helpful. She gave me a full run down on the area and places to go, made me truly feel welcomed. The towels I bought are AMAZING! I am planning to go back to linens on the hill for bedding. Highly recommend this place.

I have never been treated so terribly in my life. The owner exudes an air of snobbish elitism and is awfully discriminatory. I asked her the cost of the tumblers she sells in pairs, which are sold at a 300% mark up... kind of criminal. She claimed to already have known I wouldn’t purchase them and or couldn’t afford them... I’ll stick to my Baccarat, Karen.

Needing lots of assistance selecting hostess gifts, I was referred to Linens on the Hill by a friend. A great find! The store is beautiful, with friendly knowledgeable staff, and a fine selection of distinctive gift items and linens. The owner was very helpful, taking the time to offer several tasteful and thoughtful suggestions for each gift item.I did not notice the many discreetly displayed Best of Boston awards until I was leaving the store, arms full of elegant, appropriate gifts. What a gem!

Absolutely terrible, almost laughable service.Rude, untrained and entirely useless sales staff. Was in the shop to buy my wife an anniversary gift. Went there to buy the whole bed set up. The sales girl said she didnt really know anything and handed me a binder to flip through and let her know if I wanted anything. She did this all the while she rolled her eyes and acted like I was making her put down her iPhone so she could help. While I was there, a much older blond haired woman waltzed in, gave me a quick up and down and curled her lip. She mumbled something inaudible and said that she is the important store in town. I suggest that she spend more time visiting her neighbors and realize she needs a reality check. She is clearly not into actual sales and helping people.I suggest that she realize her shop is in need of a thorough cleaning.
