Some of the best pizza and italian cuisine you can get in my opinion (the best will probably be in the North End, but at the Prudential, Eataly is King). The appetizers were great and the pizza was absolutely tasty. My favorite was the sausage truffle pizza which was extremely savory. All the dishes were great to be honest, of which I have had many. Butternut Squash Ravioli was a pleasant eating experience - savory and soft ravioli bites.Food - 17/20Atmosphere - 5/10Service - 8/10Total - 30/40

I came here to grab a quick snack and I wasn’t very impressed. I wanted to try a couple pastries and a drink so I ordered the croissant, espresso cake and hot chocolate.Everything was bland and didn’t have much flavoring. The hot chocolate also wasn’t plugged in when I ordered and was sitting there for a while so it tasted very weird. The marketplace however is very nice and has a lot of different things to purchase

Do not, under any circumstances, buy the sage lemon drops. Easily the second most disgusting thing Ive ever eaten, after raw oysters. The lemon drops are soft on the inside, and taste absolutely putrid. There is no taste of lemon after the initial lick. If I could rate this 0/5 stars I would.

Superb, large grocery store of all things Italian. An extensive cheese section that makes their own mozzarella; a bakery that makes Italian breads and pastries; a serious Italian wine shop, and too many more sections to list. The atmosphere is outstanding. Quality of products to purchase was outstanding. Staff was outstanding. Eating in Pizza and Pasta was underwhelming. Sadly, did not live up to our expectation. $13 for a bowl full of arugula and shaved parmesean, wasn’t what was expected. Lasagne had gorgeous presentation, had nice flavors, but was on the dry side. Papparadelle sauce, sadly didn’t taste hand made or authentic. Dining in Boston’s North End was preferable for our tastes.

This is a very fun store and place to eat. My favorite thing here was the margarita pizza. We got the lunch special one which was only slightly smaller than the regular sized one. The crust on the pizzas was perfect! I only wished it had more fresh basil. The tomato soup was good—it tasted more like tomato sauce than soup but tasted fancy. The ravioli dish was interesting just not what I was expecting. Maybe I’m not fancy enough and it was supposed to be al dente but I thought the pasta was undercooked. It had an interesting taste combination of butter, lemon and pistachio. This is a fun place to take out of town guests but a little too expensive to come all the time. Service was great. They even gave us delicious bread as an appetizer and added balsamic when we asked to our oil.

Review based on the experience interacting with employees at the store upstairs. Bakery and checkout. The quality of people is low in terms of interest in the product, providing any semblance of customer service or pride in what they do. I was told briskly by bakery that all their breads were sour, when I inquired in an effort to avoid buying a sourdough. I made a comment to the employee that was a question as Im new in town, but I guess I offended her or said something that annoyed her and she turned away from me and went by her business. Bought a rustic baguette and it was not sour as I was told it would be, however underwhelming in quality and taste. The person at the checkout barely made any eye contact, was not helpful. Everyone just seemed so miserable! Less likely to come back.

So I went to talk to them and the guy who was standing there, he was lying and said oh we did not forget it just that we couldn’t contacted you. I asked for the manager because I wanted to complain. He went back and talked to his manager for minutes. Then the manager came and said we are sorry but when a customer does not show up … and I was what! I that is no what I said. And she was like it doesn’t matter. Still you have to wait. And there were few tables not occupied. The way they talked to me what is matter. Their sound like we don’t care even if it is our fault. We did some shopping at Eataly. Got some bread, fresh pasta, pecorino sauce, sun-dried tomatoes, Italian cookies. The bread was excellent. We also ate lunch and had the grilled octopus as an appetizer. It was charred, tender, delicious. Perfectly paired with new potatoes and fenel. My son couldnt stop talking about how good it was for the rest of the day. I also had a negroni which was made perfectly. We got some wood fired pizza as well. The Napolitano style crust was soft and elastic, charred on the bottom and thin. I wish there were a few more toppings on the Capriccioso and more evenly distributed for consistent quality. Overall still very good. The Quattro formaggio was delicious with a hint of a blue cheese flavor. Later that night I made the fresh pasta with the pecorino sauce with some shrimp and sun-dried tomatoes. The fresh pasta they make there is 50 times better than any box pasta. Eating it is the difference between going through life making the motions and living your best life, no kidding. Cooked it for 3 minutes and it was al dente. So good!

My review is solely based on dinning at il Patio Di Eataly. The server was very polite and helped us get the seating we needed. We ordered a Verduretta pizza and it was very soggy. The pizza did not seem to be fresh at all. I believe the pizza was a ready to eat that was put in oven and overcooked. The crust had burnt. The food quality is not at all up to the mark over here considering the price you pay for the food. The other dish we ordered was Ravioli Di Zucca and that tasted as sweet as a dessert. Wine and cocktail was the only good part of this dinner. The complementary bread provided at the start was also not fresh. Overall the quality of food here is not great.
