Just lost out on $56 for a book. Its been 3 weeks since they said theyd said payment within 2 weeks. PayPal does not take that long and its not a check, 2 weeks is more than sufficient.Do not deal with these guys. Dont rent from them period. Take your business elsewhere, they are a bunch of crooks.Even if you may see a lower price on renting from them, theres a good chance theyll fine you on some bogus claim.
Id give zero stars if that was an option. From the first order placed, a hold was placed on my card an email sent stating order received. I look again wondering why no shipping updates, the order was cancelled and hold released. I spoke with Missy, she stated their filter kicked out the order, but tried to put the cost of redoing the order at a higher cost to me. I was appalled by this and exclaimed so, at this point she agreed to eat the difference but that I would not see this until after the book was received. Imagine to my delight that I then receive an email stating the book was shipped. Again I blindly trusted it, I should have looked at the tracking deeper as it kept stating tracking not available. Well unbeknownst to me the seller opted to not follow protocol to ship with USPS and dropped it off at UPS. This I find out through Missy today, this has been going on since 5.16.17 by the way. Now the tracking does not show a delivery date, where its coming from or anything just thats it been received. At this point I am over this headache and asked for my money back, i was told NO, that I would have to wait for this book and ship it back before I would be refunded. THIS IS ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS!!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! I now have money tied up here for a possibility of this magical book potentially arriving at some date in the future and go track another one down...... UNBELIEVABLE
Site glitches and won’t allow you to print your return label, causing you to be charged late fees. This company is a scam. Wish I had read all their bad reviews before renting my books from them. First time using valore and will be my last. Chegg has never let me down.
Scam website. They take your book and you never get paid. Customer service is the worst ever. They will keep holding you and you keep waiting for the funds but you will never receive your money. Please don’t use the website!!!!!
I have been renting from Valore books for a while now because of the cheap prices. Easy delivery, especially with the purchase of expedited shipping but there is no way to contact them quickly if there is an issue. I want a refund for one of my rentals but Im going to have to pay $10 to ship it to the seller. Im spending money to get my full refund ($23) back which is pretty lame...
This place is a farce...they take your books then never pay you. What a joke trying to get a hold of anyone. BB is going to love this story as well as their local news stations as I have sent them an email explain Valores intentions on cheating people.
Will NEVER order from this company again. I ordered a 17th edition of a book and received the 16th edition. When I called, I was told oh, we are out of the 17th edition. So I paid the price for the 17th edition but received a book half of that value! NOT A GOOD BUSINESS TO ORDER FROM!!!!!!
I came to your website from Boundless as I have adopted Boundless textbooks for my classes - not hundreds of students, but a beginning. I am all for what you are doing and since I am 83 and still teaching four classes at two universities here in NC, I am trying also to save the students money. I have my students research and write on the Student Loan Debt problem and that is possibly the next Financial Crisis that this nation may face. It is clear that University tuitons are way too high for most students and that includes the textbooks. I applaud whati you are doing. wmwendt
ZERO STAR RATING.This place is the most unorganized and uncommunicative company Ive ever ordered books through. You can only contact customer service through their email service, which isnt even reliable (says youll get a response in 48 hours--mine took 5 days). Still havent received my book and its been 14 business days. I have contacted 4 different companies just to find out where my book is. At this rate, Ill get it halfway through the semester...
Vendors wont respond to sending the wrong book. Valore customer support team itself was rude and condescending when contacted. Avoid at all costs. Just a joke

I ordered a book which I need urgently, but now I can not change the shipping method to expedite on the given website, and also there is no contact number, so I could call and talk to them and let them know my concern and the changes which I want.
They took my money and didnt send me a confirmation number. How could you do this to college students? smh very upset.
