10/10 would highly recommend! I am from PA and I was searching locally, to no avail, to find the perfect engagement ring for my fiancé. After getting ridiculously high quotes for mediocre products at the big chains, I turned to the internet where I saw an image of the ring I’d been searching for! That image was on Skylight Jewelers website, and after speaking with Ed Spencer, he hooked me up in a big way! An all around honest and good guy, Spencer helped me from over 300 miles away. The ring was PERFECT and she cannot stop looking at it. Thank you Spencer so much for everything!!

I worked with Spencer over the phone to design an engagement ring for my wife. Its a very daunting task to choose an engagement ring, especially over the phone and in a different state. Spencers customer service was impeccable. He was accommodating and showed a passion for designing the best ring for my wife by emailing photos throughout the process and by ensuring me that he was available if any alterations were needed.My wife loved the ring so much that she decided to work with Spencer on a matching wedding band. Both rings were custom made and absolutely unique. Folks from all over are often complimenting her on her beautiful rings. I chose a white gold wave style ring with a blue sapphire and a matching style wedding band with studded diamonds.Recently we found ourselves in Boston and decided to visit Spencer in his awesomely located shop near Kings Church. As soon as he saw her ring he remembered working with with us. I visited at a ton of places in Boston looking for a place that would help me design a custom engagement ring and found that most places that offer “custom” jewelry just offer pick-your-parts jewelry. On the other hand Spencer offers the real deal. He helped me design a unique and beautiful, well crafted ring from scratch and found me an extremely high quality diamond within my price range. My fiancée loves the ring and needless to say we’ll be returning to him for our wedding bands.

I went into Spencers to get a custom engagement ring made for my fiancee. I had been to two previous places before and he was the only one I trusted to do the job well and at a reasonable rate. I had a loose idea of what I wanted, and was probably a pain to deal with at points, but he was very patient, understanding, and knowledgeable about the whole process.We hadnt planned on it, but when it came to getting our wedding bands made we went back to Spencer and he again was amazing at producing something from scratch for us.I recommend his operation very highly. Everyone at this shop knows their stuff and can help you find what you need. If they dont have something, they can make it or source it and will work hard to make sure its what you are looking for. I cant say enough nice things, these people are just fantastic!

My opal engagement ring is my fiancés great grandmothers and needed some repair when it was given to me. We had gone to a different jeweller and he completely botched the job and not even a year later one of the opals fell out on a trip. We thought we had done our home work on finding someone who could work with opals, but this time we looked a bit harder. On our next trip to Boston we stopped at Skylight and I just got my ring back yesterday (two week turn around). I couldnt be more happy! Not only did he find an opal to replace the missing one the day we were there, but the ring has never looked better. The band looks amazing. After having been worn for almost a century he got most of the details to still shine through. The opal settings which looked incredibly messy after the first guy now look clean and as if they belong on the ring. If I ever need to have it fixed again, Im just going to send it straight to this guy.After months of worrying about finding the right person, Im so glad we went to Skylight Jewelers!
