I had the pleasure of working with Mary Ellen from International Specialists to clear my 1992 Suzuki Cappuccino through customs. I was late to start the process and she was super helpful in explaining what I needed to do ASAP and what could wait until the vehicle arrived in the US. She was no nonsense and explained everything exactly how it was / priced everything very fairly. Her email / phone communication was fast and informative, and she had an answer to every question I had. Then once the car cleared customs I had my paperwork to send to the DMV for registration within a week, and she coordinated with my shipping broker to get the car transported as soon as possible.Bottom line, excellent service, quality people, would recommend Mary Ellen to anyone looking to import a vehicle without worry.

My experience with ISI has been nothing short of amazing! I needed to ship my personal effects to Kuwait after completing my PhD studies in Boston. After contacting many shipping companies, I decided to go with ISI. Mike was very professional, helpful, and answered all my questions over the phone. Their air freight rates are extremely competitve so I ended up shipping my items through air. The entire process from filling out the paperwork to picking up my items was seamless. All my items arrived in Kuwait (safe and sound) within only 4 days! I strongly recommend ISI for anyone who is looking for a reliable and professional shipping company.

I had 2 shipments successfully imported with ISI but the 3rd time around I have had a shipment sitting from the SAME supplier for well over a month. This is added a lot of additional costs for my company and has caused a lot of issues. I reached out to Terri multiple times and said she would figure it out. Apparently she cant figure it out. No excuses for service like this.

I wanted to give kudos to the guys at International Specialists, Inc. as have successfully imported my first shipment and it was very nerve racking BUT ISI made it Less Stressful From the initial call and speaking with ISI, setting up the shipping from China to New York was easy.. Customs Clearance process with the import department was efficient. Price was competitive and i will be using them again.

It is extremely bad experience I had with this office. I sent my stuff with them from Boston to Dammam in Saudi Arabia; however, I got half of my stuff are missing at Dammam Airport. I have no idea where were they missing at this office or at the airports. Furthermore, this office did not inform me that there would be a big chance that I would miss half of my stuff when I want to get them at the airport. I was confidence and guarantee this office will deliver my stuff as they were. Hence, be aware when you send your stuff with any office. This office just wanted your money after you paid them they did not know you . Also, they will never help you out with your issue.

Very informative and helpful initial consultation; Mike and Theresa were pleasant and professional during our phone conversation. I will be doing business with ISI based on multiple factors, including; knowledge, expediency, honesty, clarity, professionalism, services provided, cost and others.UPDATE: Now that I have contacted ISI to begin working through our business needs I have been literally hung up on twice by Theresa on purpose. I was hung up on during our conversation and subsequently called back thinking a possible bad connection occurred when I was met with a phone picking up and then being slammed back down. Definitely not doing business with ISI moving forward. Plenty of options to choose from.
