I wanted to let you about my experience working with Suzanne over the past couple of weeks. In a word: Outstanding! But let me tell you the reasons why: Suzanne was consistently pleasant, professional, knowledgeable, and patient with me throughout the process of obtaining various quotes for my client. The process became a bit tedious as my client made frequent changes to the specs, which had me contacting Suzanne many times, either by phone or by email. She was helpful and flexible and worked with me to obtain exactly what my client needed in order to move forward with the project. (As an aside, I interviewed 10 local printers, narrowed the field to three, and received quotes from all of them.) Each of the remaining three companies provided good customer service and I was not sure which company to choose. But let me describe what made the decision crystal-clear for me: Last Friday, I needed a quote from BBP before EOD, which Suzanne provided. However, I wasn’t able to look at it until late Friday night and saw that I didn’t quite get the required information. I sent Suzanne an urgent email, which I assumed she would receive first-thing Monday morning. Can I tell you how surprised (and impressed) I was to receive an email from her on Saturday?? We went back and forth via email over the weekend and she was able to resolve the issue. That kind of dedication to a job is rare...and very difficult to find, as I’m sure you know. Convention center vendors, take note! We ran out of our flyers and bookmarks halfway through the show. Within two hours I had 2000 more of each, and they were not only beautiful, UV treated, quality materials--they were shrinkwrapped in sets of 50-100! I didnt get that from our usual weeklong service. Service: Amazing. Price: Great. Quality: Excellent. Wow -- I almost never write reviews but Boston Business Printing really came through for me in a situation that could have been disastrous. I had to print a large-format poster for presentation at 11am Thursday, and I knew I wouldnt be done designing it until Wed pm, so I called a couple times checking if theyd really still be able to do it. I uploaded my pdf at 4:30am or so, and when I called them at 8:30 am when they opened, they said it would be done in 20 minutes, before I got there (Id been told by another printshop to expect 3 hours from when the paper starting rolling through the printer to when it would finish). EVERY single person I spoke with (4 different people for this one demanding customer) was(were) super helpful and not faking it. On top of that the price was extremely competitive (a lot better than FedEx), AND the print came out very nicely on heavy waterproof paper.

I just dont want anyone else to select this company based on their rave reviews here, which is exactly what I did. Not just once but TWICE we had them print our business cards and BOTH TIMES the project was forgotten about until I inquired with them about where the cards were after they hadnt arrived by their estimated arrival date. At that point I received many excuses and apologies. I get it, things happen, timelines get nudged. I couldve accepted that once, but twice?? And to have zero communication from the company on the error until I prompt it?! Im not sure how this company survives in the business world at all. AND along with the projects being forgotten quality was definitely sub-par (colors off on PMSs and matte varnish not really matte). The only shining light in working with this company is the people were very nice. So if you have no deadline and no standard for quality theyd be fine to work with.
