The worst pharmacy I have ever been to! The pharmacist is rude and aggressive! We scheduled to get the COVID vaccine here at 5 pm, but apparently they run out of vaccines in the morning and dont bother to call the people scheduled for the afternoon!
Terrible pharmacy team. They do not answer the phone, cannot find prescriptions in the system even though I can see them in my online Walgreens account, and one day refused to fill my prescription, claiming there was not enough time (we went two hours before closing) only to find out an hour later that the pharmacist decided to close an hour early. Walgreens should close this location. If you live in the area go to the Nubian location instead, where they have very competent and professional staff.
Scheduled flu shot. Got confirmation email yesterday. Show up today and they’re out of all vaccines. Did they bother calling or emailing? Nope. “Can I reschedule for next week then?” Nope. 🚮
As of September 2021 the pharmacy at this Walgreens is completely overwhelmed. Lines at the pharmacy can go over an hour at a time, pharmacists intentionally hang up on callers (I typically am successful at talking to someone 1 out of 5 times I call, waiting ~20 minutes each time), they have a broken register at the pharmacy, and pharmacy staff openly tell customers that they are understaffed. This Walgreens is a block from my house, but I am now walking 7-8 blocks to CVS to avoid this cluster.
Closed without warning the last several nights. Something is deeply wrong with the store.
Arrived at 10:00 on Tuesday 9/28 when the sign outside says they are open until 11pm and the hours online say the same. My friend needed pain reliever and upon arrival, the doors were already locked and the employee turned off the lights while we were standing at the front door. Very disappointing that they did not keep the store open to the promised time on the front of the store and on the website- had to drive elsewhere while my friend was in a lot of pain and this could have been avoided if they had stuck to the time on their website.
Over the past week and a half I waited over 15 minutes on the phone for someone to answer the first 5 times nobody answered. Called again someone picked up in the pharmacy after 15 minutes told me to hold and hung up 15 minutes later.
Less well stocked than pre pandemic but they have friendly employees.
Brain hughes me as an witness of my self and customer has witness the treats he made against people who work there ...all managers did not handle his treats with percautions ...he words were he was going to punch amd choke an worker ...please customers find another store that respects your well begin ...
How come the sorting options in the comment section dont include Oldest First?I LOVE Walgreens. I have never had a real problem at a Walgreens. (Is it possessive? Is there a Mr. Walgreen?) Not only have I never had a problem, one time I foolishly bought and paid for the wrong thing, and somehow realized it just as I was about to leave. The cashier let me just switch it.So? So, after I got home and looked at the receipt, I discovered that the replacement was a little bit more expensive than the first item. Certainly, the cashier mustve known this, but she didnt say a thing.Okay, one time, when I was waiting for my prescription, and they arereally fast, I wandered around the store, looking at everything, and after a few minutes, I started to think that a guard was looking at me. I happened to park myself in front of a shelf and was pondering buying something from it, and after a few minutes, the guard parked himself right next to me, apparently pretending to be interested in the next shelf over. Was he trying to send me a message? Did he, while on the job, just happen to decide to have a look at the shelf right next to the one that I was looking at? I dont know; I dont care. Nothing happened. If he was just doing his job, good. Also, Im using somebody elses computer, so please be careful of maybe jumping to conclusions.
Currently at Walgreens waiting for my Rx to be filled. It was faxed to the pharmacy over and hour and a half ago. I called to see the status of my Rx, and the staff said it was in process and should be ready soon. I’ve been here for 30+ minutes and still no Rx in my hands. Apparently, they “didn’t see the faxed prescription” and are working on it now. I don’t know if it’s a miscommunication or a lack of competence—either way, it’s been a waste of my time.
I called to have an electronic prescription filled to minimize the wait because I was really sick. I was placed on hold the first time for 20 minutes and the call would be picked up and placed right back on hold. The second call was the same except this time for 30 minutes. That’s poor customer service. Finally Katie answered and acknowledged that they were really busy but would work on getting my script prepared.
I didnt even go there and I got the best service. Heather in the pharmacy department is the best person I have never met. I called because my husband needed eye drops because we forgot to bring them on our trip. Until I called this palce I was calling every Walgreens that might have his eye drops. But Heather asked me to wait and made calls to find which other Walgreens store had them and called me back after placing the order for it to be filled. If this is not service I dont know what is. Heather, if you can read this Thank you thank you!! Keep up your great work! 😊
Incompetent staff at the pharmacy. Ive always left my post-dated Rx for next day pick up, however, today a rude teen and a not even out of grad school entitled guy said they cant hold on to my script and that Ill have to come back the next day. They usually take more than 30 minutes to fill a Rx and I cant really wait that long as I have to go to work. Dropping off the next day is therefore not an option for me. The manager was useless, she didnt even know if she was coming or going and she seemed out of it. I was really treated like garbage, it is unbelievable how they can get away with it. I will only go to the community pharmacy from now on. It is only less than a mile toward back bay. Folks there are awesome, only problem for me is that they open at 9am. Nonetheless, shame on you Walgreens south end pharmacy staff.
I love shooping in wall green I always fine what a I need they treat you good good service when you need
Always love the deals here!
Walgreens pharmacies can be really uneven and this is, I have to say, a pretty terrible one. One of the first times I went there they gave me someone elses prescription, which is actually extremely illegal. If I had reported them they would have gotten a fine and a citation. They also love to keep people waiting in line. They usually have one or sometimes no people behind the cash register, even though there might be three or four people inside the pharmacy itself, sometimes just chatting it up while a line is building up. If a customer has a problem, they will put everyone in the damn store on it, in spite of a growing line. I once got so fed up I stuck my head in the window and told them to put someone else on the register. Yesterday I called them to tell them I was delayed in picking up my prescription due to the blizzard and that I would pick it up Friday. Today I got a call from them asking when I was picking it up. I said I called yesterday and the lady said Okay so you want us to re-shelve it? I said, No I called yesterday to say I did NOT want you to re-shelve it. Seriously I think they just send all the worst employees to that store. Its kind of mind-boggling.(PS. Im really confused about all these reviews having to do with the smoothie counter. I think these people maybe put their reviews in the wrong place. To my knowledge there is no smoothie counter at this or any other Walgreens.)
They falsely advertising the wrong hours they close at 9
Nothing wrong about the staff but There is a lady over there who is really rude to the customers, the pregnant one, she really doesn’t know how to talk to people she practically yelling at customers
Most of the employees are teenagers with bad attitudes. Dont bother asking them to help you find something. They will tell you they dont have it just because they dont feel like walking 5 feet. Pharmacist staff are totally incompetent. Store is dirty, shelves are messy and poorly stocked.
I like this Walgreens
Horrible staff at the pharmacy. Gave me incorrect information on the phone and cost me a $20 uber ride to the store, only to be told I’d have to come back the next day. Completely incompetent and then rude when I explained my frustration. Do not use this location.
Everything i need price great!
I shouldnt rethink walking in this Walgreens if I have bags SMH I will have a shadow
There were 4-5 people working behind the smoothie counter and I was the only one in line. I got ignored for five minutes at least while they carried on their personal conversation and snacked on chips. Then as more people got in line, they took their orders instead of mkaing my smoothie and at least three smoothies got made before someone finally decided to make mine. I will NEVER go back there for a smoothie. Your staff is very unprofessional and rude.
Came by to grab some candy. It works.
This place felt a bit run down.
These people dont hurry.
Walgreens. everything you need and Candy too.
