Had the Kenyan pourover, it was great! Their own roast, brewed with a Kalita.
The environment and workers were nice but I was underwhelmed by the coffees - specifically the pour over.
Despite living in the city my whole life, I was a bit taken aback by the prices, but man, was that hazelnut latte worth it. Seating is well placed. It was busy when I went in, but I got a seat by the window I was able to plug in my laptop and work, while keeping my feet toasty at the floor radiator. This is my new favorite splurge place to work.
Hands down my favorite coffee shop that I have ever been to. They offer a wide range if I could give them an 11 out of 10 rating I would. Feels like he, cant go wrong with Render ❤️
Really great coffee - worth a small excursion. Limited (slightly disappointing) range of snacks. Good service, and a decent space - more of a working cafe than a trendy hangout place.
Enjoyed a great cup of Honduran blend & a delicious pear tart on my 1st visit here. Careful of the big leather sofa. If u settle in there, u run the risk of not returning to work.
My first time here was great! The staff is very friendly and the atmosphere if the place is also very welcoming. Its a great place to sit down and relax with some good coffee!
Casual coffee joint tucked away in between the tall Bostonian buildings. It’s pretty expensive, but not relative to other nice places in town. There’s free WiFi and all the water you can stomach, if hydration is your jam. It was nice and quiet when I came in, and it was a great place to catch up on some work. Visit. Enjoy.
Excellent coffee and comfy atmosphere. Higher prices for better coffee but thats to be expected. Extremely limited choices for food and all pastriesserved cold, no warming element. The oatmeal cookie is pretty good tho. The staff here are courteous and energetic
An airy chill atmosphere, and though this location doesnt serve sandwiches, they were cool enough to let myself and a friend get salads around the corner and bring them in to enjoy with our coffees. Would suggest for table for two. Theres an area that people can work towards the back.
A nice spacious cafe with good coffee and decent breakfast and lunch options at a reasonable price. There are 3d printers and laser etching machines that can be used on a monthly subscription program. The service is good and they offer discounts for repeat customers.
Great coffee in a cool space. The menu is a bit sparse - this isnt Starbucks - but the coffee is fantastic. I love the flavored lattes because they make all their flavors in house; none of that squirt bottle stuff.
Love the coffee, only the interior design is not very cozy so I would take a take away coffee most of the timeBut I would still go for that coffee!Nice staff as well :)
Clean and neat place, delicious coffees at affordable prices!
I love visiting here. the service was very helpful and observant. prices were average for the menu. food is similar to a cafe in indianapolis i loved.
Coffee was... coffee. Nothing special. Had the brownie, was nothing special either. Kinda hard to swallow due to how dry it was. Establishment was clean, but staff rather unfriendly. They were friendly with some and not others, very odd. They rolled their eyes behind my friends back after she asked a question. I wouldnt come back here.
Render is my favorite coffee shop in downtown Boston. I think their espresso is amazing. They source single origin beans and use a light roast that showcases the fruity, bright notes of their coffee.
A great space. Coffee is a little acidic for my taste. Also would have appreciated more healthy food options.
They have their own house chai blend with Mem tea, and its perfect - not too sweet. Love the little scavenger hunt.
They have a big space which is great to hang out in and avoid the office for a bit. They also offer almond and soy milk, which is awesome!
Best hazelnut latte ever! They have their own homemade hazelnut for the lattes! Very reasonable priced too.
I got the hazelnut lattee and it tasted weird, but the atmosphere in the cafe is nice and cozy
Great atmosphere, but seriously, you need to put on your website that you don’t serve food here. We walked to you because we saw your menu online.
Ive run a couple of shops like this one, and there is a growing trend of cafes that look the part, and someone invested some money in, but are only average as far as product & service. Render is an exception.Walking in, the shop is well-laid out and the flow is evident and thoughtful, all the way through to the layout of the prepared food on the counter, and the easy-to-read menu. I was thinking about a pour-over, but the coffee I wanted was their available drip, so i went with a 12oz. Pulled out my wallet to find my debit card was missing, so I stepped off to the side to check for it. While Im standing at the counter with the contents of my wallet laid out, the barista notices and asks what i was getting, and if I lost my card. I answer that, yeah im that idiot, and she takes a couple of steps to grab the drip I had ordered anyways, and just says to get them back next time.I know this is a small gesture, and the lid on the cup is more costly than the coffee poured, but its not the point. This is the platonic ideal of a shop that knows its customers, know their relationship to the shop, and wants that relationship to last as long as possible. They dont care about the $0.15 lost on the cup of coffee; they know it means that Ill be back, and theyre totally right.Tell your friends. Im gonna.
The malted cold brew is really tasty and refreshing. The space is, well, spacious, so its a great place to hang around and get some work done.
Great coffee, tea and food (at Mass Ave location). Even have great decaf coffee available.
Wonderful. Very well extracted pour over from local New England roasters (made in a Kalita Wave). Very smooth espresso with milk drinks. Great staff, but not overly friendly. Lovely, fresh, open space. Lots of greenery, but no WiFi. Great stuff, Ill definitely be back!
Delicious single origin coffees, friendly staff and a relaxing space.
One of the best vanilla lattes ever had
Tea and a ham and cheese croissant while finishing a book perched in the window = a good way to start a chilly spring morning
Glad to find my favorite coffeehouse from the South End is downtown too! Its a different, more open layout, but it still has the same great coffee selection.
Malted cold brew is unique and tasty!
Baristas are excellent and the coffee is delicious.
My favorite coffee in the city. Take a nice long coffee break here with a pour over coffee.
Great coffee from Tandem and Gracenote, plus good breakfast and lunch sandwiches and desserts.
Glad they opened a second location (other location is in South End) that is more convenient, with more space and seating. Render has been one of my favorites for years now.
Great little spot to pick up a delicious coffee in the middle of the city. 3D printers too but I havent tried those 😜
Good coffee, great place to meet a friend. I like that they have an electronic rewards system versus the typical punch-cards.
Small portions for the price but the coffee tastes delicious. One HUGE drawback is the fact the have a single unisex restroom and there is almost always a line to use it!
Great metropolitan feel! Excellent lattes.
Interesting approach to coffee with a varied and unique menu. Space is slightly minimalist.
Great place for a high-quality coffee and comfortable too
Delicious.Reasonably friendly staff.Upscale ambience w a hint of hipster vibe
Great place for create your ideas while you take a coffee
Good place to hangout before a meeting at 50 Milk / CIC. Great coffee and quality baristas! They also have been giving me lots of coupons.
Overpriced and very average quality. Dont have any way of heating or microwaving the baked goods like the majority of other coffee shops and bakeries
Comfortable, quiet, great tea and coffee, great place to meet with someone or to catch up on messages
Hip coffee shop. Good chill spot.
I love their coffee and they have the best brownie!
Solid but not spectacular. Better to go round the corner to ogawa
Best cold brew in the city
Strong coffee- good
Beat coffee in the financial district. The secret is in the fresh beans from Tandem and Gracenote, coupled with an amazing staff.
I LOVE ETO DRINK ITTHE COFFE IS SO GOOD I LIKE JAKE THE BARTISTA BERTENDER.
Good coffee, especially the pour overs, and the atmosphere is good. But some of the time the service can be pretentious and grudgingly helpful.
Hazelnut coffee was interesting in a good way
Excellent coffee and pastries.
Friendly, informative service and delicious coffee!
Love this place so much! Great Baristas!!!!
Don’t go if you’re in a rush. Waited 10 minutes for a cortado while baristas stood around chatting.
Coffee was good, pastries average. Service: unfriendly.
Spacious, laid back and great music 😎
Awful bathroom. Felt like I paid $7 for chocolate milk
Good coffee and service, cosy place
Really good coffee and service.
Big open coffee shop
Best coffee in the neighborhood
Friendly staff. I dont like the coffee much.
Great place
Okay coffee
It tasted good
Espresso was sour. Wrong bean or possibly coarsely ground powder.
Excellent!
