Great store, love shopping there for my daughter. one of the girls, she seemed to be like 16 and had brown hair. I cant remember her name but I know it started with a J, helped me shop for my 13 year old. she was super helpful, and checked the clothes out for me once i was done. my daughter loved the clothes. Thank you so much to that girl. Def deserves a Raise!!!!

The girls here are so sweet! I came her with my ten year old daughter looking for back to school outfits. She loves this store so much. She idolizes the girls who work here. A red headed asian girl and a blonde girl with bangs and a bob were so helpful in finding exactly what we needed! My daughter asked to take a photo with them and they did! So incredibly sweet! Definitely coming back next time! Incredible shop!

Some of the employees are really nice, but its pretty evident that they only hire based off of looks and nothing else. Theres one girl in particular (Ive already seen a few negative reviews about her) whos attitude is just not it. She rang me up and didnt speak to me at all throughout the entire process. She barely even looked up... and this happened more than once, too. Ive seen her roll her eyes and do the same to other customers multiple times. I hate to say it but most of their employees are just there for decoration and outfit inspo because they wont answer your questions or even make an effort to help you. Honestly, save yourself some time, effort, and money, and just buy Brandy second hand. Its not like they have size options to worry about anyways!

Went to Brandy Melville on Newbury St to buy a sweatshirt for my cousin. I am a bigger girl, and the lady at the register made a point to tell me they didn’t sell XL clothes so basically I wouldn’t fit in their clothes. I have never been so disgusted by a comment from a store associate. I will never be going back to this store or any other Brandy Melville store for any reason. There is no need to fat shame someone spending money at your store. I did not mention sizes or anything - I asked if they had another color and she made the decision to fat shame me. If you don’t fit their “standard” then they don’t want you shopping at their store obviously. Extremely unimpressed.

AWFUL! Just AWFUL is how I would describe my experience at this Brandy Melville. The customer service greeted whilst shopping yesterday was appalling to say the least. A red haired woman who was behind the counter was extremely unhelpful, rude, SLOW! I could not believe her lack of direction and incompetence when it came to something as simple as using the register at her own place of employment. Embarrassing honestly. As a repeat costumer I just don’t think employees like her really fit the image that is Brandy Melville.

I walked in the store and this woman looked at me. I continued to shop ignoring this visibly angry woman. She followed me around and when I wasn’t looking SNIFFED MY HAIR. I then went to the fitting room to try on this cute vintage y2k American horror story core sweater. The lady then approached me and said “How many” then snatched my clothes and counted them. I went into the fitting room and heard her laughing maniacally. I exited and viewed her in a corner standing over something. I had no clue what it was so I ran. I ran straight to the register to buy everything I had in my hands. The person who checked me out looked terrified and spoke with such fear. When they said “You have 2 weeks to return your items for store credit” they sounded broken and hurt. I wonder who hurt them. But that’s none of my business. I left the establishment and never looked back.

The girl behind the counter refused to give me a bag and made me carry out the clothes in my hands. Literal weirdo needs help

Girls were super nice! Complimented my purse and got a top from the back that I thought was out of stock from the back. Store is a lil small but it’s clean and organized!

Extremely rude woman at the counter who rang me up. Did not even speak or look at me and actually threw the item I bought towards me when I reached out for it. Then, she didnt even tell me that I was done, I had to ask, and she literally didnt say anything. Awful employee.

Okay so I have been here a couple of times and I really like their style! They have cute shirts and graphics and it’s not as expensive! But I do not support their “one size fits all” policy because you shouldn’t just point out that only skinny tall girls can wear this or that. But they have great clothes just wish they had sizes :/

Was told that I could return something I bought online in store for a full refund. Tried doing this one week later and they said I could only do a store credit or exchange. Tried calling customer service to see if they could cover the shipping cost for the return, who were no help and said that the store and online are “two separate entities.” The employees here have no idea what they are doing and are incredibly rude and could not be bothered lol.will never buy anything here again and will be boycotting Brandy Melville. What a terrible company.

The store was very clean and well kept. The worker Francesca was very sweet. Also one of the biggest brandy stores i’ve ever been in.

I went on a Thursday afternoon, when the store was pretty quiet, and I had a pretty good experience. the girls helped me find some stuff that was almost out of stock, even when they were already off work. they were really chill about the changing room, thankfully, since sometimes they watch you the whole time and it makes me kinda uncomfortable. the cashier was really cooperative and answered all my questions thoughtfully, and I’m pretty excited to go back next time!

Just love the store and the cloths fit great! the workers in there are very nice and very helpful! have a verity of styles and sizes for different shirts, prices are affordable as well!

I love brandy because it has very cute and trendy clothing that is extremely affordable ! However, when I went in today, the store was a mess. Mannequins messily strewn across the display racks, dressing rooms filled with hangers and heaps of clothing . Meanwhile the employees are standing there talking to themselves and doing absolutely nothing . Extremely cold and stand-offish when asked to help . When I checked out I asked one of the girls a question and she looked me up and down and gave me a rude look.Will stick to shopping online.

I’m a fit muscular average height woman and these clothes are not for anyone who is size 4 and up. I went in the store and everyone was staring. Garbage!

I love brandys style and some of their tops are super comfy (zelly, amara). I have been to the one in Boston and the store was pretty small compared to some other ones but they still had a good selection of clothes. I felt the staff was a little bit in their own world for instance when i went there the first time they where talking about their clothes and comparing them. I found the costumer service to be OK it wasnt amazing but i went there for the cute clothes not the people. I saw a few comments about the one size fits small i agree that it is ridicules but the staff did not come up with the idea. I would recommend going here if you want to get some cute in style clothes and the hoodies are pretty oversize to if you don/t fit into the shirts the hoodies are very comfortable.

If you aren’t white, do yourself a favor and save the harassment while shopping

My daughter and I were the only customers in for 1 hour. No one, I mean not once, did anyone say hello, may I help you, are you searching for something today. Nothing.Then we checked out...zero eye contact. Zero smile. Zero “thank you”.Not to mention, the ridiculousness of the “one size fits all” mentality in 2019!🤷‍♀️

I love all of the clothing items in the store and the quality and material of the clothing is great. I also love how organized the clothing is and the overall aesthetic. However, the fitting room line is right in the middle of the store making it very crowded and hard to walk to the register. And there are always huge piles of clothing behind the dressing room counter that is displayed on the website but hidden in those piles at the store. Lastly, when I was using my online gift card to purchase my clothing, the cashier made fun of my phone model and continued to ask me about how old my phone was until I was done checking out which really made me uncomfortable. So i would recommend trying on the clothes in store and if the line is short purchasing them there too. Otherwise, its better to order online as everything is visible on their amazing website

I love brandy clothes so i was very excited to visit while in boston. however, i was disappointed to see more boston merch (not even brandy, other brands) and less actual brandy clothes. if you want cute boston merch though this store may be a good option!

The place has a good set-up and is kept really clean, but its always empty and the store employees dont seem really interested on keeping the customer wanting to spend money. They tend to just gossip at the cashier register.The quality is decent.

I have never been here but I was looking at the website. They are a one size fits all store, cool! But they make their clothes specifically to fit size 0-2 people which is less than half of the population of the United States. I will never go with my friends into that store or will I never go myself

I had an excellent experience, the salesgirls picked out tops for my niece, were very friendly and helpful, and gave me attention and suggestions, Ill definitely come black. Id like to especially commend Abby and Anna, theyre excellent, knowledgeable, and are a true credit to the company.

Love brandy Melville and the merchandise however I was so appalled by the customer service and how rude the girls were that worked there. I received no help, no enthusiasm, were incredibly flat/ rude tones when giving me a changing room and checking me out and seemed like they would rather be anywhere else but there. I love brandy melville but this just made me not want to come back to this location again.

Store staff was incredibly rude and not engaged at all with customers. Friend asked about retail price on item and was given a VERY disrespectful answer regarding euro/us $$.Store staff were all clustered at the front registers discussing CUSTOMERS and college party scene.More importantly, when we returned at 7:50, the store was closed and locked despite the 8pm posted closing time.Unbelievable.

Happy based on what I picked out, however the little girl at register 3 known as Sofia just crumbled up my clothing and threw it in the bag... I was not having it. Like girl how do you work retail and not know to fold people’s clothing, it’s not rocket science baby girl.

Really chill, didn’t really take in the employees rude ness until I got to the cash register and she asked me “do you want a bag” and I asked her to repeat herself because I couldn’t hear her and she yells it to me and I say yes and she throws the clothes into the bag. Who hires these people?

Great clothing! Went into the dressing room with a hundred dollar bill in my purse got to the register and it was gone. Real bummer.

I came on a wednesday afternoon and was it crowded! There were clothes and people everywhere, the fitting room line a mile long.. Yet the staff was still helpful and kind. Very hectic and busy for sure, but the cute clothes are worth it.

Bought a shirt here for $40 on 10-14-19 the next week on 10-20 I bought the exact same shirt at another brandy Melville at derby street for my other daughter for $24, WHAT A RIP OFF!

Very rude staff, I spent a lot of money at the store, they had forgetten to scan one of my items, I returned with all of my purchases, including the item they hadnt scanned and got accused of stealing, as well as treated very poorly. I dont think i wouldve returned to the store WITH the shirt if i was planning on stealing it.

Its crowded and theyre one size, you should find at least 2 things that fit you.

First of all, I arrived to this store at 8 pm, and they were closed. Every site says they close at 9pm. The workers refused to let us in and were very rude. I will not come back and neither should you!
