Great people they know what they are doing

While many of our neighbors have had bad experiences with Goldman, my wife and I had used Goldman for tractor repair for several years with absolutely no issue. When our farm tractor finally gave out, it seemed natural to look to Goldman for a new one. In July we went in and it took a good 7-10min for anyone to acknowledge our existence. We were eventually directed to wait for a salesman. Another 20-25 min wait and he finally shows up. Not a bad experience despite the wait. Unfortunately, we don’t quite have enough money on hand, so we decide to come back when we have the full amount.It’s mid September and we finally have cash for the tractor. Head back to Goldman -get there about 2pm.This time no one will meet our eye and actively avoids us. A mechanic eventually comes out of the back and takes pity on us. Nice fella who tells us he’s kinda having a rough day but now they are all just holding out for 5pm. This further increases our confusion concerning why the staff seems to be actively avoiding customers. We tell him we are there to buy a tractor. He directs us to a salesman.Salesman seems to be having a conversation with some guys. We wait. The longer we wait, the more apparent the conversation seems to be non-work related. Salesman doesn’t acknowledge our presence . We finally give up and start walking for the door. Mechanic asks if we know what we wanted; reaching for some literature.My wife says, “Yes, already know, and are just wanting to buy it.” Mechanic looks questioning in the direction of sales guy still chatting. It’s apparent that the salesman isn’t going to end soon and nothing the mechanic can help with. Mechanic gives us a hopeless shrug. I tell him, “It’s ok, not your fault, we’ll just try somewhere else.”As we get in truck, I pull out the card from two months prior and try calling the salesman we spoke with in July,p. He’s not employed there anymore. No one else seems available to speak with us. We may be a bit old and shabby looking in person, but that shouldn’t have been apparent on the phone? All we can assume is that Goldman either sells so much they don’t need our business, or perhaps this just isn’t the place that caters to farm folks -like our neighbors have been saying.Needles to say, we won’t be going back and will be joining the the rest of the farms in our area who drive to other parishes for sales and service.

Purchase a 5075 E 3 years ago they have attempted to repair the instrument cluster several times it has fogged up since day one after running for a little while service manager and I had an exchange of words after I caught him lying to me and I let him know he was lying... No problem purchasing the tractor and I do like it after three years but the service is horrible
