This place is a gem! Such a cute little coffee shop with good coffee and tasty pastries. My husband and I both got the drip house coffee and were blown away by the flavor! None of that burnt coffee bean taste here. The sausage kolaches are also out of this world good! Get one - you wont be sorry! They even have cute mugs and t-shirts for sale. We interacted with several staff members and everyone was patient, helpful, friendly, and kind. I would absolutely recommend checking this place out!

I love the atmosphere, and the coffee and cranberry scones were remarkable. I wasnt greeted at all. She basically looked at me and said whats your order. Not hello, not welcome. And certainly not thank you. Customer service needs training

I love this place! Great location, great coffee, and even better employees! Kaleb, Tessa and Megan are usually working when I pop by, and they make me feel so welcome every time. I know for a fact that the other employees are just as friendly and welcoming as these three! I definitely recommend this place if you want to support local and drink some dang good coffee!

Coffee on the Red is coffee done right. This is my new go to study spot. Meghan at the front counter is so sweet and helped me figure out what coffee I would love. Tessa on the bar made it super fast and it was delicious! While he was cleaning the lobby, Kaleb was really personable and asked me about my day. Johnny at the drive through window is always friendly and gets me my order quick and easy. In the mornings I always see Domo and she literally brightens up my morning with her awesome energy. I would definitely recommend this cafe if you are a fan of good coffee and good people.

The best iced caramel latte Ive had in a while. Sweet, strong and creamy.

Was not impressed. Over priced and microwave hot coffee. Who can drink boiling water. I drink plain black coffee and it was horrible. Donr care about fancy coffee. Usual posers present with laptops etc.

I love this place. The atmosphere is nice and the staff is friendly. The coffee is smooth, not bitter like you get at another well know coffee shop. They have several options to choose from but I wish they would update their menu on their website to reflect what is currently being offered.

Ever since I started working next door at THT this has quickly become my favorite coffee place! Its soooo good! Sometimes I even drive all the way from Shreveport just to get my fix 😆 Staff is always super friendly ❤

The Red Wave is my absolute favorite! Their coffee is amazing as is their service! They always are consistent in taste so Im never disappointed with my order. Plus they are locally owned so that is even better!

Everytime were in the Ark-La-Tex we make a stop for coffee. My wife enjoys the peanut butter cookie latte and Red Wave. I usually get a flat white. Excellent coffee and great service

Love the coffee, and the atmosphere. My only issue is the lack of outlets/power strips near the tables. There are 2 tables with outlets but plenty of people trying to study with laptops. Seems like a common sense thing for a coffee shop to have for its college crowd. Its the only area in which Rhino has them beat.

Pleasantly surprised to find a cute coffee shop tucked away driving down Benton so we pulled in. The menu was not overwhelming and well organized and fairly priced. I got the Velvet Topped Cold Brew, he got a Vanilla Frappe and we both got the cranberry scones. Everything was delicious!!!

This is a nice change from the big box Starbucks and the prices are better and the service is great. They made my son a creme based frappe that he really enjoyed. Service is pretty fast too, we will be back.

Not only is it a cute coffee shop it’s got delicious coffee (love their cold brew) and very nice employees. When I last went there I was short the change for my order and was just gonna break a bigger bill but the employee just pulled some change from their tip jar so I wouldn’t have to even though I insisted she didn’t need to do that. Went above and beyond- very impressed

I recently moved to Shreveport from the UK. All my family is from Ruston and the rest from NOLA. I have been trying coffeeshops all over. Most people recommended Rhino, but I was not impressed. On a whim I passed Coffee on the Red and decided I was going to try it on the way back towards my house. It is the best coffee Ive found so far in Shreveport or Ruston. I still maintain the coffee in the Pacific NW is the best, but this coffee tasted almost exactly like a lot of the shops there. Their barista pulls a great shot that is zero bitter. I could probably drink their coffee black. I got a mocha though, light on the syrup. I will definitely be going back to see if its consistently good. When I googled coffeeshops they did not come up. It was mostly Starbucks and Rhino. So for now, its Shreveports best kept coffee secret.

Dont have a ton of outlets for their college customers and tables are not 6 feet apart.The coffee is great and the service is phenomenal.Rhino is the better option for safety and studying

Never had a bad experience here! Workers are generally pretty nice, the line moves quickly, and everything tastes great. I dont personally use any alternatives but they offer them, and thats great if you want them.

Excellent cold brew!

Creme Frappe (blueberry) was sweet, but really tasty. The real treat are the smoked sausage kolaches. The middle stuffing has cream cheese, and it’s addicting!

The business & owner will also block you. Go ahead & try for yourself! I would not trust any positive review I saw of them because of this.If youre looking for an actually decent family place to get a great coffee in Shreveport-Bossier, Id recommend Rhino coffee on Texas street, PJs on Airline, or Moor on Youree. Good ole Starbucks is just around the corner from this gross place too!Coffee on the Red does not have the decency to belong in Bossier city. Beware of any positive review you see, ask your friends & family what they think of this place instead!

Dont be discouraged by the long line, it moves fast and so worth the short wait.They have REAL coffee, amazing treats and polite knowledgeable staff.

Went there Friday morning and again this morning and both times recieved good service and great coffee. Only thing I wish was different is opening time. I have to be at work at 6 am which is unfortunate because Id rather have coffee here instead of starbucks. Otherwise you guys are great and I cant wait for a full opening.

This place has the best coffee hands down !! High-quality, fresh coffee and delicious treats from Whisk Dessert Bar will keep you coming back for more !I highly recommend the latte, either iced or hot ! The sweet potato muffin is AMAZING, along with the chicken kolache !! The staff is super awesome, knowledgeable, and friendly too !!

I have to admit that I was extremely excited to see this local establishment open for business, but that excitement dwindled rather quickly after tasting what they have to offer. My wife & I went thru the drive thru this morning & ordered a Chai Tea Latte & a Cafe Au Lait with a shot of espresso. What we both got was far from it. We both experienced something that can only be described as hot sweet milk! My wife could not taste the Chai Tea at all, & I couldn’t taste the coffee or espresso that was supposed to be in my drink. Maybe it was just a bad morning, not sure, but what I do know is that there is ALLOT of room for improvement.
