I like Pennys always have. I have a nostalgic time there. I remember as a kid going there. Always have a good selection.

The cashier was great but the people on the floor had bad attitudes. I gave the store a 3star but Im only giving it a 5 star because the makeup department was on point. They had great customer service and really helpful.

Please get your air repaired. It is always hot at this location and I always have to cut my shopping trip short because its so hot. Today it was wayy too hot and I had to leave before making a purchase. I understand its hot this summer but it shouldnt be that hot in the store. The sales associate was sweating and they wouldnt have to suffer in the heat all day at work.

Clean and relaxing interior. Not as big as selling ed action as in poll ast months. The employees were friendly. Not much of a sale for Black Friday.

Its only 1 cashier I was in line 20 minutes only 2 people made it to the cash register and on the second person the cashier walked off to do something else. Cant cash out nowhere else in the store but customer service and its ridiculous. Need to do better, I walked out without the things I needed for the wedding

JCPenny in Bossier City, wasnt goodI bought a bra in Shreveport for $3 and in Bossier they wanted to charge me $14!!! I also showed the ticket and even like this? The manager didnt allow me to pay $3. So I didnt get it and I will buy in Shreveport where they are also much nicer

There was only a couple of registers opened. There is no dressing rooms opened due to the covid so if something doesnt fit you better save your receipt or youre not going to be able to return it

Two employees refused to check me out sending me elsewhere and ultimately no one wanted to charge me for item I wanted. Perhaps there should a training for employees to stop profiling customers or for there to be incentives for employees to do their job.

The young lady in the optical department (with red hair) is the sweetest, most courteous person. She always remembers and takes care of our needs. Outstanding and absolutely precious employee. Wish I could get glasses every week! She has much to be commended for!

Ive had a couple problems with items shipped to store, and with long lines due to training people, untrained people, or people standing around due to only couple registers being set up. Despite that, I love the sales and the clean store and the selection

I walk into the hair salon there is a sign it is closed. To call a number and make an appt. I call the number it kept telling me to speak louder. I am not happy.

My son purchased a pair of $44 White Liz Claiborne pants for me for my birthday and lost the receipt. I tried to exchange the pants because they did not fit and I did not care for the style. I went JCP in Bossier City, LA to see if I could exchange them for another pair. The store clerk at the cash register told me they could only give me $4 because I had no receipt! OMG! I was furious.So I either lose the $44 or get $4 or spend another $44 dollars to get the pants I like which would end up costing almost $100 in the end? You know JCP would put the pants back on the rack and sell again for the $44 plus tax. Selling the pants twice! What kind of system is this? Ive exchanged things without a receipt to other stores and was given a store credit or was able to exchange the pants? I was not asking for any monies back. I just wanted a different pair and style.I was told Id hear back from the store manager, but its been a week and apparently, customer service means nothing and they could care less. Note: My son is a young man who was trying get a gift for his mother for her birthday, he was all excited that he was able to purchase the gift on his own and used his own money. He didnt keep the receipt nor did he read the return policy, why should he; he was all proud he bought a gift for mom on his own and that was the only thing on his mind. Im so disappointed and will not return to JCP to shop just because of this. Ill just donate the pants to the Providence House.

Sad to see another storied retailer spiraling down the drain. We walked the length of the store to find an open register. The clerk barked at us twice to get in line, ten feet away from her. No clerks in the departments that I could see, and it took over 15 minutes to get to the register (we were first in line). The pajamas we bought were nice, and on sale fairly cheap. Should have just bought them on Amazon.

I enjoy shopping peacefully here in Bossier. Clean store, very nice and professional workers from maintenance to retail. However, I wish the sales and coupons would include the Nike and all brand names. People def go where they can get sales and coupons in their favorite name brands. Just a thought.

Went to JCPenney to pick up items ordered by my mother. Had no trouble picking up her order. Lady that waited on me very pleasant and that always makes life just a little easier.😊

Wife likes it. She drags me here for hours. Nice store, but they need some chairs for the husbands to sit in while they procure shoes and purses.

This Penneys store is ok. Used to be great. The womens clothing dept and linens dept seem to be getting smaller. Since Sears closed, I would think that they would step up and try to get those customers. The store in Shreveport is better.

Store is fine, but its hard to find workers to help you. Checkouts are under staffed, stood in line for about 10 minutes. The people who do work there are very nice, though.

An associate was already at the door passing out a savings card, and what a nice surprise! However, my primary visit was to head to Sephora, and to inquire about foundation and primer. The Sephora associate, Kat, was extremely helpful. Not only was she insightful, but was knowledgeable too. Highly recommend this location and the associate.

Really enjoy my first experience at the Salon. Josie and Fawn were amazing. Will definitely frequent there with my family.

This is one of my favorite department stores to shop in. Great selection and even greater sales!

They have some really great deals thru the JCPENNEY app, as well as discounts for having a membership. Sometimes have trouble locating an employee for assistance. But I would definitely recommend coming and checking out the savings they have to offer.

If you ever want jewelry from this place run the other way... The customer service is horrible. I brought my husband a wedding band and the lady told me that i could re-size it. So we came back to pick up the ring which it took a month to get back. Come to find out it cant be resized. I spent 4 hours in the store to get the ring bc the lady wouldnt stop talking. Then i come back different sales person same issue. She refunded me the money back which took all day. I left the store feeling really confused.... And tired

Hot! It was miserably hot in this store. My husband was drenched trying on clothes. There is no sense in it being that hot even our teenage daughter, who is cold nature, was hot. To hot to have an enjoyable shopping experience.

Prices are average. Hard to find someone to help, but over you so they are quite friendly and a joy to deal with. Overall.... Good average store.

The store is clean and organized with a great selection. The only downside was finding someone to help us, they seem a bit short staffed. For example, we never did find anyone to help us in the intimates department.

I have never dealt with such horrible customer service! I only called to find out the status of my wedding ring. It was only supposed to be gone for 2-3 weeks for a repair. She cuts me off mid sentence and tells me to hold on.... first off where are your manners? Then proceeds to keep the phone off the hook instead of putting me on hold. Going to gossip with your friends is not only unprofessional its rude! When you should be doing your job! Then comes back to tell me she forgot i was even on the phone... No apology just what were you calling about.. i tell her again and tell her my name so she can go check. Then tries to tell me it takes 6wks. No maam it does not. Because when i brought my ring in the PROFESSIONAL woman who does her JOB told me the proper information. I was holding for well over 15mins for what? Its very simple. Ive worked retail and retail management for over 10+ years. No job is too difficult.Sincerely,A very annoyed and outraged customer.

Went to the Jewelry department and the customer service just wasnt there. The lady seemed to be distracted with paperwork. The selection on Bridal rings were great and the prices were fair aswell.

Pennys, you could say, is the last of the mohicans. Most of its counterparts have gone out business or are in the process; Sears, KMart, Kress, etc.This store seems well managed-clean, organize, and a good layout. Although they have various known brand name clothing, make-up and gadgets in my mind, even when there are sale sign, they are not compelling enough to do any serious shopping. A big draw too many was and likely may still be is the in-house store credit. I still remember my Ma, taking me to a local Pennys to have shoes fitted by an employee in the shoe department whom had been there 15 years and was there 10 years later. Times have changed and so have people and are not necessarily better.

I have managed retail stores and I am appalled at the LACK OF customer service on the phone at the JC PENNY in Bossier City, LA. All I wanted to know is if any mens coats had came in yet. I couldnt even get a hold of a manager! This morning, after calling about 8 times, because NOBODY WOULD ANSWER THE PHONE, a lady finally answered in the childrens dept and told me they didnt look for merchandise and I have to come look for myself, then hung up on me. I will NEVER shop there again. I give JC Penny a few more years until they are out of business. I WILL BE PURCHASING MY COAT AND EVERYTHING ELSE AT OLD NAVY, where the really nice guy that answered the phone not only told me what all they had in stock but also the exact dates that more coats would come in, and told me to call back and they would let me know. Totally different experience!

I usually have a good experience @ Penneys and tonight was no different. Its still one of my favorite stores!

School clothe shopping. Had a lot more deals than I expected. Not may people working at the time I was shopping I believe it was in the evening. So I had to track down an employee.
