The only good thing about here is the gentlemen that receives the customers he has a great attitude. I was very upset because I call and gave the wrong phone number for my vehicle insurance coverage when I call back with the correct information I was told that the order on their end was completed and that I would have to pay out of pocket, and I would have to contact my insurance and they would refund my money back. I just feel that they could have made that call, I mean I pay so much money to have coverage for my vehicle and just because this person decides to not call I had to pay

My service advisor (Julie Young) was awesome to deal with and handled everything professionally as well as helped me with other issues while truck was in for repairs. She is a great asset to this service dept. As to be expected I am very disappointed with oil pump failure on a 2018 Silverado with 60,000 miles but service dept. took care of the issue only to have the water pump fail within 2 days of getting my truck back. Julie and the service dept. took care of this issue also and even though Im upset with the issues on my truck with few miles the Red River Service Dept. was pleasant to deal with. I was given a loaner truck both times which was well needed as I make my living out of my truck.

Communication. Communication is key with customers. My experience could’ve been much better if my salesman communicated more with me. I had to call my salesman to get updates more than 5 times out of the 9 weeks I was waiting for my vehicle to come in. I completely understand that it’s hard to get vehicles in right now but a quick text or email would be great so I don’t feel as if I have been pushed aside. Also, I feel like attention to detail would’ve helped out a lot more in my buying process. My build had to be fixed twice which put off the submit date to get the build approved.I had high expectations with Chevrolet due to my last Chevy. My last Chevy was my dream truck, but was totaled out. I wanted my dream truck back, and that is not what I got. I’m having to settle and I don’t like that, but it is what it is.I’ve had my new vehicle for a week and I like some of the new technology, but I still feel like my 2014 was better. I feel this way because my new truck doesn’t have the technology package (due to not having parts), and it also doesn’t have the pedal extension technology that my 2014 had. I do love how the new vehicle rides and it’s lifted a bit more than the older models. I absolutely love Chevrolets but my buying experience could’ve been better.

My check engine light came on and I called the dealer where I purchased my SUV and they couldnt get to me. So I called Red River and they were able to schedule an appointment for me without Hesitation. It has been a few years since I was last there, with a different vehicle.

This deal was an order for a 2021 Corvette.In general, the dealership did a good job; especially Jessie Smith, the sales person who kept me updated as the allocation process proceeded.However, I experienced challenges as the actual order process unfolded.I was interested in the Corvette Museum delivery and included that on my build sheet. When the dealership entered the order into their system, I was informed GM was not doing museum deliveries any longer. Of course I was disappointed but took their notice to me at face value.I decided to pursue confirmation that deliveries were not available by contacting the museum directly. I was told that museum deliveries were indeed available and taking place every day.Im not sure if Red River had not requested one of these in the past but I provided them with the museum delivery manager and he guided them on how to properly place the order which was ultimately successful.Once the car was built, I requested the paperwork required to register the car in my home state of Arizona. What I received was a temporary plate for Louisiana which was fine but I still needed the required documents to register the car in Arizona. There appeared to be some confusion on what exactly was needed. Fortunately, I was finally connected with Todd Payne, their director of finance.Todd did the necessary research and made arrangements to get the required documentation to me.All in all, it was an ok experience especially the fact they were willing to sell the car at MSRP and not tack on a huge premium as many Chevrolet dealers are doing on the Corvette.But, it sure seems to me this dealership had not processed a Corvette Museum delivery prior nor a purchase from an out of state customer prior to me.They have now so I hope the next customer who has this or a similar scenario will have a much smoother experience.Again, kudos to Jessie and Todd!Jessie

It was an agonizing wait for the truck to come in, but Jesse kept us updated even with the delay and trying to expedite from the rail station in Shreveport. Vehicle was not thoroughly inspected prior to being put up for sale. RRC had to put it in the shop at another dealership. Was told by our salesman that its definitely the transmission, but all parts are on backorder, and we dont have a timeline as to when we can get a transmission. Vehicle was sent to another dealership for repairs, for some reason. Then 2nd dealership told salesman that they cannot duplicate any issues that we are complaining about. Told us to turn in the loaner car and come get our vehicle by Friday. While all this was going on, according to the salesman, the deal and paperwork had expired.Arrived at the dealership Friday afternoon, salesman said test drive the vehicle. So we did, the vehicle was still making noise while in reverse and moving the steering wheel. Went back to the dealership, was told that we could not walk away from the vehicle. Ended up having a purchase the vehicle again. While backing out on their property the vehicle made a loud noise and cut off and came back on.I dont understand why vehicle was never thoroughly inspected, why it was ever sent to a 2nd dealership, why we couldnt walk away from it if the deal was expired.Never going back. Tread lightly. If you buy a vehicle from them, bring your own mechanic, and they charge you a safety inspection fee, when my vehicle was unsafe.......
I scheduled an oil change for 10:45 and got there about 10 minutes early and my car sat in the parking lot for about two hours. I didnt get out of there till 1:33 and they misplaced my keys
This was my first time getting my truck or any vehicles oil change and serviced. I called and had no problem getting a polite and professional person on the phone that got me scheduled right away. They did a great job, were affordable, and good people. I will definitely use Red River Chevrolet for all of my oil change and service needs.
My wife and I were out of town for a reunion and stopped through the local outlet mall to do a bit of shopping and started to hear some odd noises from my new Chevy truck with 3000 miles on it. We coincidently pulled into Red River Chevrolet as we were hearing the noises and had them look at it and spoke with Ashley and the service manager. They found that one of the lifters had frozen up. Normally this would be a job that would take a few days to repair, so we were planning on leaving it with them for the rest of the week and renting a car to get home. Ashley spoke with one of the techs who offered to start on it that evening and come in the next day to get it finished up for us so we can drive it home. True to their words, they finished it the next afternoon and we were able to drive it home. I cant say how grateful we are for their service. These guys know how to treat a customer and just wish our local dealership in Dallas, Texas cared that much as I would have my vehicles all serviced there. Thanks guys!

I own a 2003 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LS Extended Cab 4.8L engine. I currently have approximately 389,000 miles on my truck. The original engine and original drive train. The only major maintenance issue I have had with my vehicle is a catalytic converter and a fuel pump. Both times I have brought it to Red River Chevrolet in Bossier City. Another dealership in Shreveport, Louisiana that I had some minor work done and would never take my vehicle there again. Red River Chevrolet staff and technicians are very courteous and professional. My service coordinator, Ashley, has always gone the extra mile to keep me informed regardless if it routine maintenance or significant maintenance. They are a service team you can trust with your vehicle.

Today, final after 2 years an unauthorized credit check has been removed for our credit reports from Red River Motors. We repeated contacted Red River to produce a signed document that allowed them to check our credit without our knowledge. They could not, why we never signed anything to give them permission to run our credit. They never would follow up after multiple phone calls and emails to provide us proof. Labor Day 2018 until today Sept 1, 2020 and still no word nor signed authorization proof and no apologize.BEWARE, if you go in with a good credit and a pre-approved letter from your bank, River River will help themselves to your good credit without your permission. Chris Fuller with Red River was contacted by phone and emails multiple times about their actions. As of today, 2 years later still no response, no proof, just a 2 year credit report with an unauthorized credit check by Red River Motors. FINALLY today, their actions of helping themselves to our good credit has finally been removed from our credit report.Do not trust Red River Motors!Thanks to Red Rivers dishonestly and lack of communication, we drove back to Shreveport, LA and purchased a new car down the road at ORR no credits, no problems, a perfect transaction! Highly recommend ORR!

My vehicle was in for routine maintenance and I was concerned about an odd odor and hard shifting. The torque converter was replaced a few months ago and the odor has been noticeable for a couple of weeks. No problems were found but on my drive home the smell returned.

I got there at 11: 15 needed a tire fixed. They told me 2 hours. Im from out of town had a screw in my tire so didnt know my way around and didnt wont to chance driving. So I stayed and 4 hours 15 minutes later got my tire fixed!!!! Not happy at all!!!!

Service was prompt and Manny did a good job answering several questions that I had about my truck.
I brought my wife’s car to get looked at, and they told me she had a bad battery and needed new battery cables as well for around $650 for both. I declined the work and paid the $120.00 to have it looked at. I then took her battery to auto zone and got it looked at and it was perfect. I doubled checked at O’rilleys on the way home and they said the battery was good. So I paid less then $25 dollars for a new battery connection piece and put it in myself it about 10 minutes for what the shop wanted 650 + to do. And I still had to spend 120 for them to tell me the wrong information. The shop needs better training before trying to charge people.

BAD NEWS: I took my car in for a routine oil change. After an hour or so, I was informed that the oil plug was stripped so badly that it would not screw back into the oil pan. My options were to either buy a new pan for over $300 or let them temporarily fix the problem which was still over $200. (The car was fine and not leaking oil when I arrived there). Seems to me that I was charged for something the mechanic tore up.(This process took from around 7:45 a.m. until around 2:45 p.m.)GOOD NEWS: I took the car to ORR KIA in Bossier City the next day and traded it in for a brand new car. Sorry, Red River, you beat yourselves out of a car sale.
