Yall, i have to tell you something super important.My friend and i love this store and go all the time. I actually just went in on Sunday, may 16th. So much variety and so much going on. I just love it. Weve bought a couple sets of oracle cards as well and so many rings.However, this weekend i purchased a small opal necklace, assuming it was a real opal, considering the shop, right...Well, its not a REAL stone!!! Its sold like its real and it is not. It has many air bubbles in it and Im so disappointed in the store and their products. What else is fake?? Ive bought so many crystals and gems.If these products are not real, please inform people bc i have spent HUNDREDS AND HUNDREDs of dollars here. If I had known, this was fake, Id never have bought it. If i knew this shop sold fake stones/jewelry, i wouldnt have recommended it to so many friends or been myself so many times. Im just worried about what else may be in there, sold as real and not real?!Im just shook!!! Please be aware and check all things you want, before you buy!!!

Very cute and local gift/book shop. Dancing Moon offers a wide variety of neat items for yourself or a friend. Youll find anything from cards to jewelry but also crystals, stones, artwork, books, clothes, candles, herbs, teas, incense, flags and I could go on but check them out for yourself. The store has a wonderful calming energy and feel. Its very clean, quiet and friendly. Stop in here to buy a unique gift, support local and take a break from the outside.This area of Boone only offers street parking but I didnt have any trouble when I met a friend here.

I have been going to Dancing Moon since age 19, I am now 42. Oh. How to describe what a lovely place, with lovely people is hard to put into words!! Bob and Karen are special, caring souls. Resoruces, warm atmosphere, kindness. This is a great place to shop for used books, spiritual books, incense, gems and journals, and a vast array of loving things all in one little shop. The employees are super friendly and very helpful, and were genuinely kind to our little 7 year old when she bought her things. 10/10 we will be coming back to this shop every time we visit Boone!

I’ve been going here for a long time, one of the only local businesses that have maintained for over a decade. Absolutely love it. It’s not a typical environment for a bookstore, it’s very unique. Cool staff. High prices, but high quality. Great store for the high country!

A charming, cozy store, my absolute favorite in the area. We visited twice this week during our vacation. Staff is warm and friendly, I would have loved to stay longer each time. I could browse their book selection all day. The used books are fairly priced and the shelves are full of intriguing finds, I left with several ♡ We found most of the crystals and minerals that we had on our wishlist, and I really appreciate that the crystal collection is extensive and well labeled.thank you so much for a wonderful experience, dancing moon ~

Part used bookstore and part metaphysical hippie shop, this is a great place to wander in and get lost for a while. They have a great selection of new & used books, local handmade gifts including tea, soaps, jewelry, or ceramics. You’ll find lots of books on spirituality and metaphysical topics, health and wellness, etc., and a decent sized rack of vintage clothing too. They will also let you exchange your used books for credit in the store! The owners are very friendly & a good resource if you’re interested in learning more about Boone. I appreciate how welcome I feel there.

The atmosphere is welcoming and I have Never had a bad experience when going here. Ive been living in Boone for around two years and absolutely every time I go to King Street I make sure that my first stop is, The Moon! There are Locally harvested herbs, homemade tinctures, local artists works, crystals (Raw, tumbled and jewelry!!), consignment, and they have books for almost ANY Interest you may have!! (At unbeatable prices!) They even give you little Pocket Angels, so you may, count your blessings daily! :) I truly love this place and believe it may be my happy spot! I hope everyone gives it a chance and is able to feel the peace themselves! Blessed Be! :)))

Awesome dude behind the counter gave me change for the meter and some advice on when the meter maids would stop checking. The store selection is certainly out there with a cool, hippy vibe. I read a comic book about the Life of Buddha while my wife browsed.

Love this place, have stopped in several times in the past. Theyre very helpful and down to earth 🌎. Have nice deals on candles, incense, etc. Go by sometime if thats ur sort of thing!

Ive shopped here several times and have never had a bad experience. The people working the counter have been welcoming and informative. I buy lots of the local made soaps and hand made incense (especially the pop/cola scent). They also sell lots of used books, tarot cards, essential oils, teas, vintage clothing, hand made jewlery, artwork, candles, ex. So many things to look at. They aslog Ive you angels when you leave which is a universally nice gesture in my opinion. Everyone is welcome here.

The store is terrible for those with allergies. The books look worn and out dated. If its a witchs used book store it should be advertised as such. I wouldntwaste my time or my money here .
