Love that a shop like this exists in Boone! Grateful Dead and psychedelia galore.

I really liked shopping at The Happy Place on King Street in Boone. This store is very Boone and I like that a store like this exists. I was able to find some gift items for some people on my list that are harder to shop for and found some perfect gifts for them. They have some really unique and cool items here. The vibe here is really relaxed. The staff was very friendly and laid back. I had a positive experience here.

The Happy Place is awesome!I lived in Boone years ago and and just came back for a visit. So much has changed with the chain restaurants and stores but The Happy Place IS the Boone I remember. Locally owned and operated; Krista is one of the nicest people Ive ever met.There is nothing like the smells and colors and vibes of The Happy Place.

Wonderful store run by wonderful people! I always stop by this shop when visiting Boone with my family and its lovely to look through. I happened to remember recently that there were two pairs of pants I fell in love with there over the summer and had yet to find something else that lived up to them. I decided to email the store and see if they had it/could find it and they went through the trouble of finding it, special ordering it as it wasnt in stock, and then shipping it to my home in Orlando. Krista was so quick and responsive and just genuinely kind. I would definitely recommend checking out this store and supporting this business!!
