I just love Michaels. This one in particular has one of the sweetest and most helpful employees ever (Payton!). Store is very clean and everyone is friendly. I get overwhelmed in that other craft store, yall know which one....but Michaels has everything I need.

General Manager, Mike, at Michael’s in Boone takes customer service to the next level! I had been waiting on a yarn color that I’d been using to make a blanket to come back into stock either in store or online. I misread that it was in stock in Boone, so I drove for 45 minutes, arriving at the Boone store ten minutes before they closed only to learn that I was looking at the wrong color. The store manager came to assist me ten minutes before they closed. I hadn’t expected a lot of assistance at such a late hour, but Mike at Michael’s took the time to take my name, number and yarn style. He said he would check local stores and would go get it if it was available. He contacted me the next day and said he was unable to locate the yarn style locally but had found it at a store farther away. He said it would take a little longer to arrive because it had to ship. He contacted me three days later and let me know it had arrived and that he would leave it for me in the office with my name on it and to just ask the clerk to go get it. It’s is very rare that anyone in this world goes out of their way to help their customers. He took the time, with minutes to spare before closing, to go out of his way to meet my needs. He took the time to look locally. He took the time to extend his search. He took the time to have it shipped. He took the time to contact me several times. He took the time to make sure I knew how to pick up my product. I paid nothing extra. He got paid nothing extra to go out of his way to make sure I got what I needed. Who does that in today’s world? Nobody except Mike. Mike rocks! He’s a great manager. Not only that, but he’s a great human being. If more people in this world were like Mike, there would be a lot less problems. No more Hobby Lobby for me. Michael’s in Boone all the way! Thank you Mike!

Love this place, They Always have friendly & knowledgeable people on hand to answer any questions...I have once again banned myself from here for at least a month, I cant get out of there without at least a $500 - $800 spending spree each trip because they have so many things I am interested in doing. Highly Recommended!

Great experience. Im not a crafting person. The guy inside must have seen my confusion, looking for esle for Daughters wedding. He helped my find the correct one for the canvas print engagement photo.

Went in search of sewing supplies. Spent more time walking around searching for the sewing section that I found pitiful. It consists of a narrow section about 6 ft wide and a quarter of it was empty shelves! A helpful customer told me Hobby Lobby has a good selection of sewing supplies, including fabric, so I’m headed there! Sorry Michael’s.

Luckily this location had just what I was looking for but the store was the absolute smallest one I have visited. Overall the store was clean & the staff were nice. Its nice to have a Michaels in the small town of Boone but if I find myself at another location I wont hesitate to go there souly due to how small this location is.

Smaller Michaels not quite the selection of other stores. Prices a bit higher than the other local hobby craft store but still worth visiting since they are the only store that carries my preferred yarn. They also have great clearance sales.

Terrific selection, helpful staff and fair prices. Love their sales especially the 2 for. Occasionally they run out of what I want but when I go back the shelves are restocked. I recommend Michaels for those crafters out there.

Really sweet staff, did curb side pickup as the pandemic started to get serious & i apologized for adding to their chaos, but they were able to hand me my things & get me back out the door within a minute or two. Everyone has a great attitude

If theyd allow me I would live there. Overpriced, but I still shop there. Not for long though I just heard theres a Hobby Lobby coming to Boone Mall. So Ill no longer be a faithful customer as soon as Hobby Lobby opens. Sorry Micheal I love you but our relationship will soon be ending.

Definitely check for coupons online before you go. The staff is usually helpful if you need to find something.
