Very disappointed that so many people without masks are allowed in store. They were handling and coughing on fruits. Employee says they can’t enforce mandates, they can only make requests. I will not be using Safeway if they cannot make it a priority to keep customers safe. As a teacher, I have an obligation to keep my students safe.

Beautiful new Safeway. Almost feels like a Whole Foods. Very clean and super organized. Very easy to find what I’m looking for. Great staff too.

I loved it! I brought in a picture of the cake we wanted, and they made it so identical. People were really surprised that it came from Safeway and not a specialty bakery. They added extra sparkles on the cake which made it even more magical looking!

Its nice to be able to walk into a store and have such a friendly staff, not something you find very often these days. The employees at the Safeway in Bonney Lake are extremely friendly and helpful.

I really dont care for the way the parking lot is set up. Its tough to park. But other than that its a nice Safeway.

Great, took advantage of sales close to home, even stopped by today to take advantage of Tuscan cantaloupe which had been 2 for $5.00 but today was 2 for$3.99 unbeknownst to me. Love Tuscans.

We shop at Bonney Lake Safeway often and they have very good customer service as well as product choice. I would give them a 5 if all the produce (esp. bananas) was always up to par.

Worst teriyaki chicken ever! Poor quality chicken, lots of fat, grissle even a small bone. Even the flavor was weak at best. So disappointed. I did not eat it. Threw it away. I know you can do better than that Safeway!

Good variety, but expensive! Deals never seem to work with coupons on the app. Very frustrating!

Negative 2 stars in my opinion... Ive used this store my entire life.... Since I was at least 7.…. Some of the employees there I feel like Ive known my entire life as well..... Over the last few years though the staff has treated me in a way they never did before... Due to profiling me as a young adult Im constantly followed, treated as if Im known for shoplifting(when Ive paid for everything ive left this store with via ebt or cash....) and even harassed for things I wasnt aware Are prohibited, like putting back merchandise I cant afford/have changed my mind on? (Sounds completely crazy, but yes this happened a year ago by the night crew.. when covid first started..) I understand with the homelessness and the people that hang around that it is part of their job to be suspicious.... But, I dont see how its right or accepted to profile and treat every young adult that comes into the store as if their a known criminal.. (as I am not the only one treated this way...) I hope in time this store turns back into the friendly neighborhood Safeway that they advertise to be--& that I used to know them as...

This Safeway is terrible! People are always stealing from here, there are homeless people outside, and it is pretty small as well.

Updating November 2020, nice recipe and added a few twists of my own but truly incredible turkey cranberry cream cheese panini.I grilled the pears, threw down some bacon everybody loves bacon. And used half the avocado shell for mozzarella balls with balsamic drizzleI like this place a lot. People are friendly, great service all around. Its all here when it comes to what I need. Butchers have great input on the meats you want to grill up; recently tried a pepper blend on some short ribs and a New York, awesome outcome. really love the bakery and Deli selections and produce is always a great selection and price

I am changing my review, because the quality and the politeness has decline over the last year or so. Today, the supervisor/cashier, said I would need to pay cash for an item. I told her that I had purchased many time and it had not been the case, She said it has been in place since Xmas. I had no problem with this, I thought it was odd that she was insisting to follow a rule that no other casher did. If she says You must pay cash....I cant make her take my card. So I told her I was leaving since I did not have that much cash on me, I put the things she had already rung up back on the register. She said Stay right then, I am going to show you, I dont care if they were wrong and allowed it.... I told her I dont need to see anything, I dont have enough Cash on me...as I started walking out of the Store & the Cashier(Edna) shoved this store policy manual in front of my face and said see right here,.......she said a whole bunch of other stuff that I just ignored since she just kept repeating herself.I was leaving to go get cash....but then was forced to listen to her....she seemed to have an unnessary need to educate me on store policies. I understood them the 1st time she said it.....Stopping me from leaving the store seemed a little over the top......a lot of the top, I asked her what her name was and I left.After leaving, I went to the cash machine, then went a block down to the Bonney Lake Fred Meyer.I purchased the same items.It doesnt matter if it was with cash or card......(it didnt matter at Safeway either)My experiece at Fred Meyer is what you would normally expect.I have been shopping at this Safeway for over 25 years. My experience the last year has been a milder version of my experience today.PLEASE NOTE: This is the only negative review that I have left on Google Maps of a business, all others have been for excellent service and awesomeness. So 5 stars for eveyrone I review, except The Bonney Lake Safeway. (FYI also shop at the Downtown Puyallup Safeway and they are awesome,)My opinion is just dont spend your $$$ at the Bonney Lake Safeway

Safeway has the best fresh french bread! Eat it with honey- butter-whip and youll be in heaven! I come to Safeway for two things. Their French bread, and their Safeway Select South West Salsa with corn. I have a passion for this salsa. Its the only one Ill ever buy. I took a chance... I clipped coupons, every one of them was sold out. A tip... If shopping Saturday, go late night. You practically have the store to yourself.PCM

Consistently good customer service at this location

It was pretty much a normal grocery store experience. Nothing extraordinary.

It was nice and cozy, loved it.

Was able to get in and out fairly quickly. Was able to find what I needed and even found something that I didnt really need but had to have it. Cashier and bagger was friendly and everything was bagged properly.

Great service. Good selection. Parking lot is a real pain to get into and out of.

Very nice staff at the coffee shop and Cheery atmosphere.

Normal grocery store. Be aware of the tweekers that are always hanging around asking for money. Make sure you lock your car up after you park.

If you cant find what youre looking for just ask! Turns out, bacon bits are now located next to the bacon. It used to be next to the end salad dressing.

Safeway like all the stores doesnt seem to be getting everything in all the isles theres a lot of blank spots all the blank spots and the shelves Michelles which theyre really shouldnt be its not their fault its supposedly covid but its company is not providing what they need

Friendly. A bit busy but kept us updated on progress. Better than the average Little Ceasars pizza.

Shopping at 9:00pm is certainly different than shopping earlier in the day. This store is well-stocked and well-maintained. Fresh produce and great selection of deli takeaways.

Ive never had a bad experience in a Safeway. Been going here for years and getting them points.

I stood in the customer service area for over 2 minutes while 3 people discussed the proper color of sweater that was allowed for the uniform code. Finally after I showed my unhappiness by shrugging my shoulders and making a frustrated sound they acknowledged me. I have never been ignored for so long and will not be shopping at this Safeway again.

Good Safeway layout, fish and meats are pretty good. Dont expect anyone enforcing Covid restrictions, but otherwise a super convenient grocery.

The deli I would give five stars because of the selection of meats and the great salads they have. But when you go to check out theres only one check stand open usually seven or eight people in line with full baskets and I have two items. Its like this all the freaking time. They dont open the self-checkout until I dont know what time but it wasnt open when I was there half an hour ago pretty damn frustrating. Open the self-check immediately so I dont have to wait behind eight people with full baskets so I can get some roast beef and swiss cheese. 20 minutes it took.

Donut runCraving just kicked in. Donuts were as fresh as end of day can be. Think pricing should change after a certain time.

The employees here are the best in the city at a retail store... fast,courteous, smart, knowledgable the produce is great.. the bathrooms are horrible beyond comprehension.. but the manager says they are getting overhauled soonish..

Time posted to vlose was 1am.. they decided to close 10 minutes early. Guy at door was very rude to me saying yeah bud my clock says after 1am. Very short... very rude.. and definitely closed early. .

Beautiful flower selection at reasonable prices. Produce looked good. Clean store. Well lit. Even the parking lot is in nice shape. And when I forgot a bag at the register they ran out to get it to me!

Its a bit more expensive than their Enumclaw counter parts, but still a wonderful place.

Dont go in as an early shopper they only have one person doing the registers. Dont know why they dont open up self-check especially after the line is six people deep. If you got plenty of time this is the spot.

Ever dirty and smelling restrooms

We were visiting in WA and power went out as we were waiting in line with others the day before Thanksgiving. The staff had all registers ready when electricity came back on so we didnt have to wait longer. Someone from bakery passing out cookies as we waited in the dark, staff checking on people, actually was very pleasant & calming!

This is one of the better Safeway stores. I appreciate the lighting improvements after the remodel.

Love the selections and no matter how crowded it gets the staff are always helpful and friendly!

I love that they dont force u to wear a mask, lots of stores dont realize that theandate states if u have health and mental issues of wearing aask u dont need to. And they follow this.

Employees Never tell people to wear their mask.For those of us doing our utmost to get over this virus, it becomes Very frustrating that Safeway of Bonney Lake is Not complying with the mask mandate.
