Will not be going back to this one. Only one decent person was working when I went in. The others where a bunch of purple haired man haters. I would rather order online and wait two weeks before I went back here.
Man, I hadnt stepped inside a Gamestop in WAY too long, and I forgot how much I missed the place. We were the only two customers in the store almost the entire time we browsed, and yet the person working made sure to stay super courteous and friendly while stocking shelves and keeping busy. They didnt stalk us around the store asking if we needed help every 5 minutes, which was SUCH a blessing, and yet they still found multiple opportunities to be aware of what we were looking at, in case they were able to point out sales or upcoming releases that were relevant. And when I mentioned my Alice in Wonderland obsession and that some people think its odd that I collect playing cards, they shared some quirky little things that they geek out on and collect as well! 🤗This associate (wish I were better with names) definitely has the chops for store leadership, and so I sincerely hope theyre moved up the ladder soon. Ill happily continue shopping there, as long as they are working the counter!P.S. They were right btw, the playing cards and tin are totally cute!

I dont understand, if I couldnt get a return guarantee on a power supply without dishing out an extra $5 just to be stuck using theyre in-store credit, using that credit toward another device AND paying the difference, why I couldnt purchase another guarantee for the new device. I made out in the end, its just that the policies dont make sense. Also they inputed my number in wrong and another customers member info was on my receipt.

Came here today to see what I could get for my Xbox One controller that was malfunctioning but the manager was not available so couldnt even see how much it was worth. Went to buy a new blue one and brought the box up to buy it but they were out of stock. I said I would buy a red one but they didnt have any in stock. I said okay fine can I get a regular black one but guess what... They were out of stock. Just empty boxes hanging on the walls. How is this place still in business?

Was very excited to check our the GameStop in the new town I moved to in Bonney lake and was beyond disappointed in the store leaders lack of caring about anything going on. Didn’t get greeted when walking in the store or talked to until I had to get his attention and he just had attitude the whole time about any sort of question like he couldn’t be bothered. As a former GameStop employee and someone who loves the company this was the worst experience at a GameStop I’ve ever had.
Gamestop is just a big rip off they buy your game for cheap then sell it for almost new price I dont sell my stuff to them anymore.

Yesterday was my son birthday and wanted to but him a nintendo switch lite and previous to driving up to Bonnie Lake I called while I was in GameSpot in puyallup asking do they have any for sale. They did so we proceeded to drive there just to have the assistance that work there telling me I have to buy a bundle in order to get a switch. I call Target they had 7 had to pay no extra cost. I have been a game stop member since 2004. I will never ever purchase anything again from lying gamestop who are just ripping people off

Awesome! Staff was very patient with my 8yr old and myself. Honest Clean and organized store. We visited twice in less than a week. The first visit we browsed for about 30mins, second visit, sent my 8yr old to do his own big boy purchase as I waited in the car by the front door. They helped him with his card and cash transaction honestly and with kindness!!👍

Bought a pre owned Xbox one s thinking they would make sure it works before selling for 230 but nope turned it on tried it out went to turn on to play today and wont even turn on. Ive tried everything. Was thinking because the hdmi port is so damaged it doesnt stay in that might be why but nope that has no effect expect for the fact they resold a damaged product.When I called they immediately said they would take it back even though they are not taking returns during COVID 19. Thanks for still coming through for me.
Lack of customer service and concern. When a store employee says a price and gives their guarentee that youll get that price until a certain time. And then you hold up to those restrictions just to find out that said employee was wrong the store manager should step up and honor the original deal made. $7 dollars really isnt that big of a deal but when you are on a budget trying to make Christmas work it does matter. Then to be met with such indifference about their screw up and inconvenience is beyond frustrating this is not the quality customer service and experience that Game Stop is supposed to be known for. I guess I will stick to shopping online. Because youll get the same quality of customer service from a computer that youll get from this store.
I enjoy the shop as do my kids. Clean and orderly. So far the employees have been able to answer all my questions and even mention offers or coupons to help me save a little. That is appreciated.
Was helped by Thomas today during our visit. My wife and I had called ahead to check on a game which they had and held on too for us. When we went to pick up the game we found a few other games we were interested in. Thomas informed us of the 4 for $40 deal they had. We had three games picked and were having trouble finding a fourth. He recommended a game we had actually just picked up at another game stop. He worked us a refund on that game and included it in the deal. Thomas was very polite and courteous during our entire time there. He was knowledgeable on all games we discussed our had questions about. Great store and great employees
They closed an hour earlier than their times were posted and I subsequently missed their close up by seconds. I was told to come back the next day just to pick up a new game I had already paid for. Super lazy and poor customer service on their part.I corrected their error online for failing to notify all services that they changed their hours.

Actually, I hate gamestop for destroying the competition so thoroughly that they are all thats left.... but, there is nothing bad to say about the local shop- the staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and the location is easily accessible.(I miss E.B. Games and Software Etc....)

The staff has a lack of concern and an unwillingness to solve any problem you may have. I purchased a used game and when I got home I opened the case and there was nothing in there. I thought okay no problem Ill go back and get it. When I got there they checked their inventory and told me everything was current. Besides the unwillingness to admit that their inventory could be off by 1, when I asked to check if it has been misplaced the lady behind the counter turned to the counter behind her and said no. So now Im left with a $20 case that goes to a game that was released 8 years ago.

Its a cool little store but overpriced most of the time they do seem to cater to a younger generation but they seem to forget was it not the older generation who where the pioneers of gaming. Dont forget the older guys . New knowledge is powerfull innovation but older knowledge who has learned to learn from others mistakes is priceless..
Mandi is one of the worst representatives of GameStop Ive ever encountered. She makes sarcastic comments if you dont give her numbers. By numbers I mean preorder percentages, warranties on games, or pre-owned sales percentages. If her attitude was less of the parodied GameStop employee you see on YouTube videos, I would be more inclined to help the store with GPGs (warranties), buying pre-owned, and even preordering. Ive gone to the Bonney lake GameStop twice and Ive had negative experiences with her both times. First time I thought it was just a bad day but my views were reinforced with the second. I hate being THAT customer, as I know the stress that GameStop employees go through but Im not going to be continuously treated that way.

Beware they are rip off artist. They are selling a pre owned copy of Red Dead Redemption 2 at a little over $44 and a new copy at 59.99. I could literally walk across the parking lot and grab a new one at Walmart for $38.82. Amazon at 39.99.I asked if they would come down a little bit on the pre owned copy since it is priced higher than a new copy at WalMart. She told me they will not price match due to supply and demand. so obviously they would rather take advantage of people, especially young kids who dont know any better.

I am very disappointed at the costumer service and getting their stuff together. They use to be good and very friendly, but wow. Today I took my boys in there and first my youngest picked out a game with a $19.99 price tag on it then when he went to purchase it she said sorry we forgot to remove that tag its actually $59.99 then says do you still want it. I mean really you just tripled the price marked. So then my oldest picked out a game and took it to the counter she rings it up and then goes to get the game then comes back and says we dont have that game sorry someone put it back on the shelf. I mean really talk about incompetence . So of course we left with nothing. I dont know what happened to the guys who use to work there but they need to come back they were always very friendly the games were marked with the right prices and they didnt have cases that had no game on the floor. Please bring them back or at least people who can do their jobs right.

Very short and rude on the phone. During the last day of the Xbox One X trade in deal with Xbox One/PS4, the store didnt have any more Xbox One X and would not honor the deal. Was told very short that no GameStop has one for 100 miles. Sounds like piss poor planning from Gamestop running an incredible deal. This further supports my lack of interest in this company.
Got to love it when they give your account away to a Crack head, then give you grief about the account, also had issues with returns and trades sadly, there is some good staff there but I have gotten into a lot of arguments, there over pre owned games I purchased then had to take right back because they didnt even work!

The staff is usually helpful and knowledgeable, but the store policies are just depressing. You know what you get when youre coming to GameStop.
My experience was not as good as I was hoping. When you first walk in, there were so many cool goodies it’s amazing. But I started to look around and there was this huge clearance rack. There are at least 20-25 funkos on this rack. I picked out 2 of them and I was ready to make my purchase. The cashier proceeds to tell me that they are not ringing up for clearance. I told him I found them on the rack, behind everything else on there. He then proceeds to tell me that none of the funkos are on clearance as the stickers would say that, making me feel stupid, and then told me that they had no where else to place them so they just found somewhere. When I asked why they were false advertising and not honoring it, and then why they didn’t have them in the back, both the cashier and the one testing games behind the counter stated the store manager didn’t want them in back stock. He then tried to upsell me and told me that they had a buy 3 funkos get one free. They should have done the right thing by honoring the clearance, but I ended up leaving and taking my business elsewhere. Working in retail, you should honor what you advertise... very disappointed in the service.

Reviews arent my forte, but this gamestop is probably the best one Ive been to (close behind is the one in federal way). Not only do they go above and beyond with their customer service, but their knowledge of the games and which one might be best for you makes it feel like youre talking to a friend or trusted colleague instead of a salesman. Would recommend to anyone and is definatley my #1 gamestop to go to.
They had some great games
I had bought Call of Duty Black Ops III for 30 dollars, and 3 dollars more for the scratch protection, and I was told You have a week to get it returned for a new game if you dont like it. I call two days later and they say they will give me 10 dollars for the game. I couldnt trade it in either.. They basically ripped me off for 20 dollars.

They had messed up their inventory so when I went to pick up an online order they went to give me a controller to a completely different system and I asked well do you have what I order and they kept bringing controllers that said they were ps3 but nope continually they had things packaged incorrectly and so I left without ever getting what I ordered online.
