Worst auto shop I’ve ever been to. Brought in a car for an alignment but the technician found a bent steering part which we needed to fix. We fixed the part and came back again only for the technician to point out another part that needed to be fixed. This happened four times and they charged an inspection fee of $30 every time. They didn’t want to give us all the information of the bent parts so that we could come back and be charged another inspection fee.
Poor customer service, high quote for a easy fix that didnt even fix the issue.
Was treated amazing. They diagnosed my car and didnt charge me to do repairs I thought I needed but didnt. Honestly they earned my repeat business.
To start things off I went in for my front brakes to get done they told me it would be around $2,000 for just the front. And that is insanely high for a front brake job. And when I told the guy never mind he had an attitude and tightened all my lug nuts as tight as they can be I would not recommend these people not professional horrible customer service. Cut your losses and take it to Les schwabs. I would give these guys zero stars but only way I can review is with one
EDIT: TRUCK ENGINE BLEW WHILE HUSBAND WAS ON FREEWAY...HOPE TO GET THIS RESOLVED.. HAD SERVICE DONE YESTERDAY... Knowledgeable and helpful staff. Did not pressure me to purchase more services than we needed. If you have kiddos, it is a quick walk across to Kidz Happy Hour while you wait for your vehicle. Thank you.
Brought car in for check engine light. Tried up charge me for a brake inspection I didnt request. Performed a engine clean service that cost almost 500 that they said would fix the issue. Guess what? 1 week later check engine light came back on.
DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE! $3600 in maintenance, problem not fixed and they broke even more items and refuse to fix what they broke.
Took my jeep cherokee here fixed up the ac compressor and so much more reasonable prices and my jeep runs much better then before 😍
I sent my 16-year-old up to get his rear brakes checked. Turns out they needed cleaned and were disconnected. The gentleman took great care of my son and did not try to upsell him on anything offered to take care of the problem with no extra cost. It’s hard to find good customer service but this place has it thank you. .

When Lynn was manager she was awesome, honest, timely, always putting customers first. My whole family went to midas.Since her leaving, its taken longer a lot to get the diagnostic review and repair. Customer service is okay. And the cost is ALWAYS over 1,000 and take days. This last time, the manager said my spark plugs were fine and they looked at my engine it was completely obvious they never even looked and quoted me for over a 1,000 dollars to fix. Family has also experienced this and we are looking else where to do business.
Took it in to get the abs looked at they quoted me $1,000 to fix took it into another Shop with a different diagnosis all together went with the other shops diagnosis and it fix the problem
Pretty good service . Took a lot longer than I had anticipated but they were also short staffed . Everything was explained in detail and a very professional staff .
They failed to mention I would have no where to wait while they worked on my truck.
I called ahead to get a price for a repair. Water pump replacement. I was quoted $400 on the phone. Ask if that included antifreeze, parts, dumping fees and labor. I was told yes. That was the price out the door. When I came to pick up the car, as soon as I walked in, they upped the price by $100 for antifreeze. I was told they forgot to add that in when they completed the job.They are liars and frauds. One gallon of antifreeze does NOT cost $100. I tell this story to anyone that will listen. DON’T GO THERE!!!!!!!
Kevin at Midas took time to answer all of my questions and gave me a very detailed explanation of what my car needed. He was not pushy with his recommendations and I will definitely come back if I need further service. Its a very busy location, so I recommend following up in case your timeslot for pickup has changed.
Quoted 3k dollars to fix a bad ball joint. Ordered the 40 dollar part and did it myself. Make sure youre getting second opinions on quotes.
They worked very hard to make sure I got my truck back by Saturday when I had to have it towed in.Kevin was very personable and made sure I was kept up to date.
GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! This is the worst service we have ever had. Our appointment for an alignment was for 2pm. At 3:20, we asked how much longer the wait wound be. We were considering rescheduling but Kevin Beggs, store manager, lied and said they were about done with the preceding vehicle. We live 1/2 hour drive into the country and decided to wait. At 4:54, the other vehicle came off the rack and at 5:08 our truck was finally pulled into the shop. It was after 6 by the time the test drive was completed and we left the shop.
I have been going to the Bunny Lake my this for a few years now and every time I go the service gets longer and longer each. I never get call backs or updates when I should I have to call in to check on my vehicle. Customer service is very very poor. This last service they had my car for one and a 1/2 days and I still never received a call or update. I had to go to work on Saturday but did not have the vehicle because they kept it for more than 2 days so I had to miss a day of work for that reason. I will not be returning to might as for any service ever again
Horrible business. When they say their check your tires rotate and check brakes they wont. Theyll lie about it and youll drive away with low pressure and a nail in one which they checked as good to go. Dont give your business to these liers.
Andrew Sheed the manager at Midas in Bonney Lake, WA was amazing! These guys are very professional, trustworthy, and polite! The service I had done was “priced right”! A competitor down the road tried to charge me double the amount to get the same work done. I am so grateful that I came to Midas.There customers service is top notch, Dakota Phillips an auto-mechanic technician was kind enough to even pick me up at home and bring me to their shop so I could retrieve my Ford Explore. I have taken my car here 3 or 4 times in the last year and every time i do, I leave upset. Mostly because they take a minimum of 3 days to work on my car each time I’ve taken it in. This time around they have had my car for almost 4 full days and haven’t even touched it. It’s been in the air for 3 of those days and not one diagnosis has been done. I asked for a specific part to be checked, and they have looked at almost anything except for what I specified. People who work here are kind, but it seems to me like they’re either lazy or don’t have a good sense of priority. On day 4 I have decided to take my car back without repairs and will be going somewhere else for the repairs. I definitely DO NOT recommend you take your car here. It’ll be a waste of your time.
The manager at this location took good care of my beloved Pontiac Solstice and wrote everything out in an easy to understand and non-rip-off way. He was understanding of my declining of certain recommended services and didnt push me into them just to make more money. As a result, I will be returning here to have the recommended service done when I can afford it.Thanks!
Great customer service. I took my car there to inspect the brakes, fully thinking that due to the mileage (110,000), brakes would need to be replaced. The manager was completely honest and told me that the brakes were still in like new condition. Nowadays, good customer service is as rare as my dog doing the dishes...
I give this place for stars with a simple word of caution. Sometimes you can find a fantastic deal with these guys if you negotiate with them. This is something few people do nowadays, but can build a lasting relationship. Prior to my five star experience, I had a three-star experience or maybe a two-star experience. I got a huge over bid on a simple $3-$400 job for $1,200 which I obviously didnt take. Just be careful and use your wits people. Had a good experience having them flushing my transmission fluid, and they did a great job, so thank you Midas!
I always dread taking my car to shops because I feel like I’m getting talked down to, but I’ve never felt that way in dealing with these guys. Very honest and helpful. Andrew, the manager, is also great at helping you prioritize if you’re working on a budget!

I had an appointment and waited 15 minutes for someone to come out and take the keys for the car, and no one came. The entire time the manager was in the back and he didn’t come out when I called for someone. Not a great experience at all. Save your money, go somewhere else.

We keep coming back to this Midas! Our old CRV became quite a challenge. I think they enjoy a good challenge. And yet they stuck to the original quote. Any follow-ups have been met with friendly and fabulous service. I will definitely go here again!!

Really expensive to fix car and he dont know what to deal with customer he let me go until Olympia to bring the part from Chevrolet early in the mornings 52mn to be there and I found out the parts store close I was there 7:30 am to get my part and they open at 9:am what the fault from Kevin he told me to go pick it up on my way back 11:41 he call me to say the store parts close can somebody explain to me ???He charge to many things doubleSo guys make attention at your receipt two times i found out that the price not the same as the store parts like Auto Zone .He doesnt know that I have a lot of experience about cars....

I had a very bad experience with Bonney lake Midas . They replaced my valve cover gaskets as they said they were leaking.I have a Plymouth Van and it is hard to replace the gaskets. It took 2 days and it was returned to me LEAKING BADLY. I took it back and they replaced them again . It is still dripping slowly . I really believe the van was acceptable before they worked on it.

I called yesterday to ask a simple question - Are you guys able to tell me what all the lights are on my dashboard that have turned on, if I bring my car in? The lady was rude and talking to me as if Im stupid - also tried to tell me that the airbag light means I have a re-call on my 2010 Jeep Grand Cherokee.... Theres definitely not a re-call on it, she didnt care to try and understand me or what I was asking, and then said I have to make an appointment to bring it in and drop off my car for hours which Im not able to do. Wont be coming here or recommending this place.

This place is amazing. I was far away from home when I lost my brakes in Bonney Lakes, and I feared the worst: days for parts, a price above the value of the car, stuck in a hotel..but no. Jean went above and beyond to get the part the same day. She soothed my hysteria and talked to me while the part was installed. The car was fixed and on the road the same day. Total price was under 120. This is very rare and I am so grateful. Thank you, Jean. You are the absolute best.
Don’t even bother coming here. We were waiting for 15 minutes for help and no one came to the desk. We watched another customer leave because she was frustrated as well. And both of us had appointments. The customer service wasn’t even there to begin with.

I dropped my car off on a Tuesday just to find out what was wrong with it. It took them 7 days to get back to me! $330 later and the problem still isnt fixed. My wife and I dont trust these guys
Havent visited this location since Lynn the manager left. Last week I decided to give it a try and made an appointment for 11 am today for a safety check, as its a new car and we are leaving for a road trip tomorrow morning. Showed up at 11 and the guy at the desk said there was no way he could get me in because they were just swamped. But he could send me to Midas in lakewood. That doesnt work for me because I work in bonney lake. I asked him just to check the brakes and he said no way could he even put it on a rack and I asked even in the next couple of hours? He said no. When I asked why he didnt call in advance to let me know, he said he was just about to call me. Wow. Thank goodness les schwab was able to get me in immediately with no appt.
Hi I took my box van to get diogenes for my brakes first off all they give me a Coute for $1100 hundred, then they drove my truck into their garage and it was too tall and all the top off my truck got damaged and they saw me taken pictures of damage off my truck they raised the price on my brakes job charging me $2200 hundred I pay them took them 3day to do the work, I went to work when I was coming home I started to smell this crazy smell when I was on
Do not get oil changes here. They will not put the full amount of oil that they charge you for in your car. I am not the only person this has happened to in recent months at this location. And when you call to resolve the conflict with them within 1500 miles they will literally laugh at you and speak to you in a condescending and sexist manner. They will refuse to issue a refund, give an inspection of the engine they potentially damaged, or top off the oil. They are horrid at navigating customer service and dispute resolution and unfortunately even more inept at doing simple oil changes. Avoid them. (I have also contacted corporate and the BBB about this matter). I have now not only paid for an oil change through midas but have purchased 4 more quarts of oil and an inspection from an actual legitimate mechanic to ensure that they did not cause permanent damage to my car with their neglect.

I have trusted this place for over 10 years. I was 16 and had a very temperamental vw radiator. My car started smoking and I panicked... after 2 places said they didnt work on radiators I rolled into midas (I believe it was called something else at the time). An older gentlemen took a look at my car and replaced most of the clamps on my radiator hoses, filled me up with fluid. And then gave me a container of it along with water just in case. When I asked what I owed him he said nothing. At 16 years old I decided I would never take any of my cars any where else. I live in Tacoma now and I still bring my vehicles there. My family members also started bringing their cars here because of my story. They never over sell things. They give their honest opinion on suggestions for your car and theres no pressure. Lynn is great! And all the mechanics are great.
They had my car for over four days just to change a battery and air filter...Cost over $300.00 and when I came to pick it up my car wasn’t even ready, even though I arrived hours after they said it would be finished.
The lady that works the front is AMAZING!! I have been coming here for awhile now because of her great customer service!!

So Ill tell about the issues first and then the story I took my truck to Midas and had a lot of work done including a clutch redo for throwout bearing went out and they screwed it up heres what happened. I tuk my truck to Midas in Bonney Lake last month for a throwout bearing went out was barely able to drive it got it there and they said there was a lot of problems with it wheel bearings need to be done shocks need to be redone water pump needed to be redone and clutch need to be redone so with everything I said okay go for it at the end of a week and a half it cost me $2,739 the next following day since Im on SSI disability I had to go to DSHS and a social security building was not happy cuz the truck was not responding properly was refusing to go in the gears grinding into reverse. gave them a call and they said that its normal for the make and year that truck to grind going into reverse and that everything will smoothing out in time well I took it back and they put a clutch repair kit into my truck and made me pay for it their test drive is literally around their building not out on the streets but in the tight little parking lot charge me for the kit and told me that my transmission need to be redone. So I took my truck to Ernies and Bonney Lake they did a test drive and told me that there is something wrong with the truck. they didnt do any work on it cuz that would void the warranty for Midas they told me to take it to upper management in Federal Way a woman named Lynn she determined that Midas had put the clutch in wrong damage the transmission and the master slave cylinder had to buy a whole new clutch after paying discounted parts and labor they worked with me got it working and running great but determined that Bonnie Lakes Midas Andrew something at the front desk was at fault but in order for me to get any reimbursement they have to own up to their mistakes and they refused to do so so Im out 115 for the clutch rebuild kit $404 for the ultimate fix and 500 for the first clutch and the manager in Federal Way says the only way to get reimbursed for the money is for Midas in Bonney lake to own up to their mistakes and their refusing they did anything wrong so I will never go to a Midas ever again unless its in Federal Way I recommend Ernies in Bonney Lake to do all the same stuff as Midas but they guarantee their work if theres something wrong with there work theyll fix it free of charge and they will work with you with price not just throw you under the bus like Midas...
Got a quote for an alignment on the phone from the lady working the computer. Made an appointment a week out. Then when I showed up to get the work done I was charged $20 more. When I asked about the price difference the guy (Spencer) got upset and said all our alignments are that price. Poor customer service.
Ive gone there for years and always waited for my car to be done. Today I was told I couldnt wait and they would call me. I told them when I made the appointment I was going to wait so I didnt have a ride. The old guy very rudely said there is no waiting on Saturday. I take 4 cars there but never again. Last time I had a coupon for an oil change and tire rotation. When they finished I noticed they hadnt rotated the tires. They said they didnt put the car on the right lift.
Bring Lynn Back! New management SUCKS. Kevin, the new manager is very confused and needs retrained or something. Needless to say, I will not be returning to Bonney Lake Midas.One more thing, they left my stirring wheel so greasy.
We love Lynn and Ken. We dont trust anyone else more than these two to any of our vehicles.

Dont like to leave a negative review as the staff were very nice and seemed to be well meaning, but my wife and I had two recent experiences that did not leave us impressed. She took our car in to this Bonney Lake Midas to get a headlight replaced last week, and while there they found that our battery was starting to go (something we were aware of), so we decided to just get that taken care of at the same time. After she came home I took the car out and noticed that it was accelerating abnormally (caused me to panic a bit the first time I noticed this while trying to turn off of a busy road). It also started making a new whirring sound when pressing on the gas and was struggling to make it up hills if it didnt have momentum leading up to the hill. Our car is a 2016 model with a previously clean bill of health so this was concerning, especially since the diagnostics they ran when they figured out the battery was bad said all other systems were working fine.We scheduled a follow up appointment for 9:00am today so they could check it out, and when I arrived I was quoted that it would cost $153.45 for them to look at it--maybe this is standard practice at most garages, but I was pretty disappointed since the car was running fine before they replaced the headlight and battery the week prior, which makes it seem like they may have caused the problem. Despite making an appointment days ahead of time for 9:00am, as of 11:30 my car hadnt been moved from where I parked it when I arrived that morning. One other customer who was already in the waiting room when I arrived that morning said that he had only brought his car in for an oil change, and he was still there when I finally decided to call it quits and leave a little before noon. All in all a very disappointing experience, and I will likely not be going back in the future even though my acceleration issue has still not been fixed.

Did the job for on my pickup. Cost me double due to additional repairs. Im not giving them 5 starts as i had to come back as my transmission cooler was not reinstalled and left flopping around. I brought it back and they did fix it but I would not of known until it the hose lines broke or broke the condensor that i had them install. Luckly I checked the work.
What a joke. Made an appointment for 3 a week in advance and my car didn’t even get into the shop till an hour later. Tried to give me a bumped up quote when I never agreed to anything they did but an oil change. Staff was placid and WHILE I WAS THERE another customer came in after being stranded by staff saying they would pick her up, she had an appointment at 12 and they weren’t even done when they got here. Told her that the total was going to be $40 (usually $25 with coupon) because she needed an “extra quart of oil” and refused to give her a discount after not even picking her up, taking almost four hours, and not even calling her before adding more oil!!! The “manager” refused to do anything and made her pay the full price while she was in tears. WOW. Don’t waste your time or money here. What a joke.
