Bought my son-in-law a fishing reel. Sunshine Ace had at least one person working the fishing supplies. He knew absolutely everything about the equipment Ace sells and ( Im not a fisherman) installed the size line that we wanted. He also answered all of our questions and was more than helpful.We only rated Ace five stars because you cant award six stars.

New in town and painting a newly purchased condo. I had an issue with my paint spilling on the way home. I reached out to manager Gary. He quickly and most courteously rectified my problem. He went above and beyond to make it right.The store is well stocked and is a friendly place to shop. They care about their customers. Thank you!

What a world we live in! You drive to your local Ace hardware store to find parts for the lawn mower they sell in stock. They have one section dedicated to lawnmower parts thats 5x5 on one shelf. They have several variations of the same oil/air filter for mowers they dont sell. But zero real parts. However, the hardware store has a 50x50 section dedicated to clothing and jewelry. And another 30x50 section dedicated to sporting goods/ fishing gear. Some hardware store. If you want parts to fix equipment you bought from this store, like carburetor parts for you $229.00 lawnmower you bought here 3 months ago, your going to have to go elsewhere.

My 1st time there and I was very pleasantly surprised to find out they carry much more than tools or outdoor tools. They carry a small variety of clothes, a gift area with beautiful things and I didnt even make it around the entire store. The help were incredibly open, helpful.and friendly. Very clean and effecient. Very highly recommend!

I make a conscious decision to shop local businesses rather than chains, but I’m continually let down by this Bonita springs franchise. They never have enough checkout people— this gets a pass during Covid. The real issue is the surly old men in the paint department. They will look through/past you as you wait to checkout at the back register while they debate red socks & sports with their pals. This is a good old boys back lounge area, if you’re a female... don’t think about asking for assistance— when they finally do shout without moving from their intriguing sports debate “do you need something?!” (no I’m just standing at the checkout, because it’s fun) they’ll take their sweet time to meander over and tell u the register is closed.... when pointed out its open for credit card checkout, just like it was for the man that was helped 15 mins prior.. gosh... sorry to make u do your job and collect my funds... they of course will be spent somewhere else in the future... so sunshine ace... don’t cry about chain stores taking your business.... you are GIVING IT AWAY!!!

Garbage. Yeah the place has a great selection & wide variety of stuff but I went in today for a new fishing rod/reel setup! Ready to spend the money but ended up waiting over an hour with no help.. I asked multiple employees for help they all said the same thing oh, there is only 1 guy here in that department but he is busy selling a grill to a customer that is perfectly okay but the guy was not selling anything!!! They were just hanging out lounging around & talking. Unbelievable! I could not believe that someone, the manager even wouldnt go and tell this guy to hurry up because I have been waiting an HOUR! Overall terrible experience, terrible customer service & top it off no one there (manager included) seemed to care!

EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE by the entire grill team, specifically the Grill Master (lost his card with name) who is a true Grill MASTER!!! Wanted a Traeger Ironwood 650 grill. The system showed NONE available within 100 miles and EVERY other retailer said either not available or 2 month delivery which was not acceptable. The long short, these ACE guys went above and beyond to search for this grill and had one Ironwood 650 delivered to my house before noon the next day by two professionals. By 6pm my big butt was gobbling on the best ribs that ive ever made!!!! Thank You and GREAT JOB grill team!!!!!!!

This Ace Hardware is my most favorite! I have been a long (several decades) customer of Ace H . We live in Illinois and come here during winter. I have bought several items here . Staff is excellent and very helpful! Their return policy is also honest and straightforward. The man on the plumbing area is just great. They always ask me about my phone, I always refuse just to save time and being rude.Recommend this place highly.

Been shopping there for years. But today I “attempted “ to open a commercial account. Was initially met with blank stares, was able to convince an associate to help me. Walked all over the store to look at an empty desk. Was then taken to the paint desk and told the manager was busy. At that point I just said “maybe I should come back when it’s more convenient for you guys?”...to which the associate replied “Oh, can you do that?”.The sarcasm was lost upon him.

Familiar with the store, got what we needed (air filter), and were on our way.

The store is clean, convenient and has a decent selection of items. The employees are also helpful and always ask if you need help with anything. My only criticism is that the store is priced higher than big box retailers. So if you are looking for a specific item right now this is your place. If you’re looking for a deal for a certain item you might be better off going somewhere else.

I had a problem with leaking in a grill that Sunxhine Ace put together for me. I could not find the leak. A supervisor, Bob, came out when he could. He found the leak in the regulator and replaced. This is the type of customer service that I have always found at Sunshine Ace.

I can honestly say I have never been to an Ace Hardware that I havent loved and Sunshine Ace Hardware is no exception. When we moved into our new house a few years back we knew we needed to find the right tools and accessories not only for our gas grill in our summer kitchen but also for our beautiful built-in Big Green Egg. I searched online and discovered that Sunshine Ace Hardware carried what we needed but never expected to see so many amazing accessories for such a wide variety of different recipes and methods. Weve been back countless times since then and every single time the employees at Ace go above and beyond to answer any questions and provide assistance when needed. Im writing this review today because I am hoping to find just the right paint color to update our powder room and am leaning toward Benjamin Moore paint. I googled the closest location and of course I almost immediately discovered that I can get this at where else but Ace and, since my Google Review button was beckoning, I knew I needed to provide the wonderful people at Ace with the positive feedback they deserve!If youre looking for a truly helpful local hardware store this is your place!

Be very careful working for a small company like this. They dont go by facts. They go by rumors. They are not a honest company. They round down your minutes you work to their favor. Which is stealing from there people that work for them. They let go of the elderly and replace them with the young. Lying to the employee that they have been written up in the past without their knowledge. Its a very cut throat company.

I love these Hardware more than any other Hardware or home improvement store. Seems like unlike other stores they really care they notice if youre looking Im going to ask you if you need any help. I have been going here for years - the staff is the best - but the other week I had a problem with an issue related to my Stihl trimmer and blower - the Manager Efrain Torres solved my problem quickly and in A+ fashion. A business will always have employees and products that are problems for customers; however, it is how management handles the situation(s) that makes a business great. That you Mr. Torres and everyone at Ace - you are truly the place with the helpful hardware men (people).

I have been a long-time customer of Ace because I feel the service is much better than the bigger stores however, after they changed their return policy during Hurricane Irma I will never shop there again. Normally, you can return within 30 days with receipt but now they are not accepting returns on hurricane related items. I am not talking about big ticket items such as generators, but just batteries and flashlights in their original packaging that can obviously be resold. I over-bought supplies in a panic and its shameful that the management of this establishment would take advantage of people during a natural disaster just to make a few extra dollars. They should be ashamed of themselves.

INSL-X Cabinet Coat. Its a fantastic product! I researched cabinet paint for two months before making my decision. Found that the only place that carried the product was the Ace Hardware in Bonita Springs. When we arrived, we found that they are a commercial paint store inside of Ace. The owner was there and she steered us in the right direction. The paint that I originally choose was a milk paint. She told us that it would be OK but came with a lot of steps. She recommended the INSL-X Cabinet Coat because of its superior coverage and ease of use. She was not wrong! She walked us through the entire process and it couldnt have been easier.

Great for hard to find parts that the other two home stores wont stock. Prices are higher, but when you need a specialty item, Ace is where you end up finding it. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. My only complaint is how cramped the store is in some places, theyve jammed so many displays inside that its pointless using a cart.

Fishing selection was great and decent prices but the older guy with the glasses behind the fishing counter came off as a little rude. Asked him for help (wish I didn’t) guy seemed like a know it all and told my friend and I to “shoo” after he was done “helping” us.UPDATE: The guy put the line on my friends rod wrong by causing a knot in it and wasted 25 yards of his line. Bad service.
