This place is great! The staff is all so nice! The vampiro is one of the best I’ve ever had. The Tortss are fresh. Every ice cream I’ve tried has been outstanding. The ice cream is homemade and it shows👍 There are always people in here which shows that it is good. Food is cooked to order so be patient. Try the tamales on the weekends.

My cousin and I were just coming to sit since it was raining and we were next door for a party, but when we tried using the bathroom they were threatening us that they had cameras and they could see what we were doing which was nothing at all. We weren’t allowed to use the bathroom because first we had to buy something.. very unprofessional do not recommend it here. All the staff are rude and they give a very unprofessional attitude towards us.

This place is a diamond in the rough!! The food, ice cream (nieves) and drinks are all superb!! Everything weve eaten there has been extremely good and tasty! I strongly urge you to try this place. Its a great menu, reasonably priced and yummy!😛

I am so happy I found this place! Ever since I moved from Mexico, Ive been searching for a place that has Zapote popsicles. Imagine my delight as I read the menu of flavors at El Sabor de Michoacán! I got three Zapote popsicles, plus additional mini popsicles (strawberry, lime, rice pudding), and pecan atole. So good! I will definitely be coming back for more! Cant wait to try their elote pie next time! Highly recommend if youre looking for authentic Mexican ice cream place.

Went to try the tamales. Im sure other people do like them, but to us, they were a waste of money. The texture was off and there was a big bone in one of them. Will definitely not be back for tamales.

I love this place. The ice creams are delish and in many cool flavors. This is not your average 51 flavors. Even the butter pecan isnt that heavy flavor but a delightfully light rich flavor. The chocolate bananas are REAL here folks! Mmmm!!! They serve sandwiches: burgers,dogs, flautas, but.. this gal didnt make it past the ice cream case....not sure I ever will. The store has the same decor as the Gelato place that was there prior. The store was clean, bright and well lit. The employees were fluent in English and Spanish, and as nice as they could be. I hope they can find support during the winter to stay open, as this is one of the few family ice cream shops in the area.
