Very pleased with the purchasing process and delivery was excellent . Ordered 10/2/21 and received 10/8/21. This mower is best. Mowed the 1/2acre between .my fence and creek this evening. Area has not been mowed since early may was over knee high. I had ordered a different mower from a competitor back in early August was told it would ship I 3 weeks. It got down here to Atlanta Sept 6 but could not get Avrite Express local residential delivery service to deliver it they missed 4 delivery dates. I had enough and canceled the order and found power equipment direct. MOWER WAS IN STOCK AND IN MY YARD CUTTING WEEDS 6 DAYS LATER. EXCELLENT PRODUCT AND SERVICE

Today I purchased a generator from this company and had the pleasure of talking to Quadri who was one of the sales representatives at this firm. He was polite and courteous and extremely helpful with helping me answer all of my questions regarding the generator I wanted to purchase. He took a very complicated process of ordering this unit online and helped me verbally complete my order over the telephone. Edit Oct 11: Increasing to 5 stars because they followed through exactly as they said they would. I will buy from them again. The shipment arrived early and they had great communication at every step of the buying and issue resolution process.Edit Oct 5: Increasing to 3 stars since PED responded quickly and promised to send replacement. When that arrives I will edit again. So far happy with the support.Original: I need to return this unit because it was apparently returned broken by another customer and then shipped to me without anybody checking it out. Frustrating. The packaging was unusually taped (not from factory), the grass bag frame was broken, there was empty plastic bag in the box, there was not protective film on the unit (just a sticker that said to remove the protective film before use).

I purchased a Cub Cadet Zero Turn from these guys. Arrived two months ago damaged! Im still awaiting a replacement part - customer service is totally awful - DO NOT recommend this company - go elsewhere and be happier...Owner responded that they responded immediately to my complaint over the damaged wheel/tire. This is categorically not true - I got the run around for a week from customer service prior to posting a complaint on Facebook - then and only then did I get a response.Still no replacement part and no update on delivery schedule - POOR COMMUNICATIONS!!

This was a pain free excellent transaction for a quality engine. Dealt with customer service and was very pleased with direct answers to every question, sent all correspondence pertaining to the purchase, and VERY conscience about all aspects of the deal. Received the engine when promised. Installation took approximately two hours and the engine fired up and ran perfectly from the onset, hour later was tilling with the tractor. If the need ever arises will be back as a repeat customer. Thanks again for the quality of the merchandise and customer service, both hard to come by in this day and age.

If you want your order to ship in a timely manner order from someone else.The customer service is horrible, they do not give you accurate info and lie about items going out. I have been told for the last three days my order is going out yet it hasnt. They are great at lip service so thats one thing they have going for them. Honestly order from anyone else, these guys do not deserve the business.The response below from Power Equipment Direct is not accurate at all. I see labels created days ago in Fedex but nothing has been picked up. My order still has not been shipped after I was told three days in a row it was shipping each day. I would run from this company. If they are shipping items ahead of schedule I am not sure if they know the definition of what ahead of schedule means.And if they were so concerned about customer satisfaction they would reach out to the customer and address the issues instead of leaving a lame response below about how great they are.

After seeing quite a few negative reviews I was a little skeptical but seeing as I didn’t have many options for what I wanted a Husqvarna 525LS trimmer I decided to give power equipment direct a shot. I was pleasantly surprised at how smoothly it went I received 5 emails including a receipt and 4 more showing the the progress as it was shipped and the shipping was really fast. I.chose the standard shipping which was listed as 4-7 days on a Sunday evening and that Wednesday it was delivered with no damage and I’ve only used it once but it seemed to work perfectly. I don’t know if there’s a problem with certain items or costumer services or maybe past issues that have been worked out but I wouldn’t hesitate to buy another trimmer or similar item from this company.

I bought a Earthquake tow behind mower. I was so excited about this mower. When we got it started it up, went to engage the mower and it didn’t work. My husband spent 2 hours fixing it so that it would work. The bolt was never put it to the belt engagement arm the arm was laying in there loose. Their customer service only want to give me $25 for all the work just to make the mower work. And it makes me wonder what else is wrong if they missed such an important step. I just told them to come pick it back up. I feel they should have given more back for such an expensive piece of equipment which was $2300.00. After asking for the manager he only offered $50. That’s not enough to hope that nothing else is wrong with that piece of equipment and the time it took to fix it. The manger was not helpful, and was rude in the end. I will never buy anything else from this company or their sister company Mowers direct. Now they want to charge me $441 to have them ship back a mower that was broken on arrival.look them up at the Better Business Bureau, they have awful reviews. I wished I did!!

Do yourself a favor and buy local. Purchased a Wgen12000 generator from Power Equipment Direct and it was delivered on 8/31/2021. I ran the generator once and it developed a bad fuel leak. Contacted PED customer support multiple times waiting on hold over an hour each time waiting to speak with someone. Each time I was told that I need to deal with all warranty issues with the manufacturer Westinghouse. So I ask why purchase from PED??? Easy answer dont!!! As of writing this review on 9/23/21 my expensive generator has been sitting at an authorized repair center waiting for Westinghouse to allow the warranty repair. I asked PED for a replacement generator and was told that only Westinghouse can authorize an exchange. So once again why am I dealing with PED. Lesson learned shop/buy local. PED will state that even local shop will need to go to Westinghouse for warranty service. This is true, but I would have not wasted hours on hold and charged a fee for pickup and dropoff service for a 400lbs generator.

Stay away from buying anything from this company. I bought an AC coil from them. I paid upfront. They claim they had the item in stock and would ship in 5 days.. Now I am getting emails stating the coil wont ship for over 6 weeks because they actually do not have the item in stock. I have been on hold for the 2nd time. The last time I was on hold it was 45mins. So far Ive been on hold again for another 30 minutes. All this just to try and get my money back.

When you buy a product from Power Equipment Direct and it doesnt work there isnt anything they will do except tell you to take it to a dealer network to have it repaired. Worst buying experience ever after waiting weeks for a back ordered item and then it doesnt work properly and they have no further dealing with their customers. AVOID at all costs! Not worth the savings from buying online.

Horrible company. Their shipping is totally unreliable and their support is nonexistent. When I called in and asked for the CEO, I was told that he is not interested in talking to customers. When I asked if I could send an email or letter, I was told that he will delete them unread. That explains how this company does business. We are here for you until you pay. Purchased an Echo RB-60 spreader and used it 3 times. The product is poorly designed. The auger does not make contact with all of the product in the hopper. The discs that control the flow rate jam. Power Equipment Direct wont issue a refund or accept a return. Terrible customer service. Try Home Depot instead.

If I could give zero stars I would. I ordered a LG split cool/heat system from one of their companies Ecomfort.com. The condenser was a lemon, D.O.A. LG nor Ecomfort.com stand behind anything they sell and said they would ship me a part. Why would I pay a HVAC tech to rip apart a brand new unit to install the maybe correct part. It will cost me more to do that then buy a entire new unit. Trying to contact Ecomfort.com by phone or email is useless circle of no info. All I wanted was new condenser or at very minimal being terrible company give me a discount on new one.Im in the industry and this is the worst experience I have ever dealt with a vendor.

If youre into customer service, this is not the place. I purchased an E-GO leaf blower. The battery wouldnt take a charge out of the box, so I called E-Go customer support. They had me run through actions that determined that it was a bad battery. Power equipment Direct is not an authorized E-Go distributer so they wouldnt be able to send me a new battery. I then called Power Equipment Direct an was put on hold for 35 minutes while they figured out what to do about my situation. After waiting, they told me they would have to call me back, which never happened. I emailed customer support explaining the situation and never got a response. There are no instructions on how to return an item, so Im going to send it to the address on the mailing label and hope for the best.Needless to say, Im very frustrated by the whole experience and will never purchase anything from Power Equipment Direct again.

We had had a terrible experience with this company. we feel we were purposely misled on shipping times, and would have never ordered from this company had we known that the product would not arrive for as long as a month or later, since they inform us AFTER the order was funded, that they do not even have the item in stock. Additionally, we were treated rudely by one of their staff when we tried to resolve the issue. they offered no resolution, and made no effort to make it right. READ THE REVIEWS BEFORE ORDERING FROM THIS COMPANY. TERRIBLE! A further update regarding this terrible company. After all the runaround, i was assured a January 20 ship date, almost a month after the order was placed. Waited a week and then emailed for an update. Received an email back, now saying it would not be shipped until late February—-now we are into the third month since ordered, and they did not even have the decency to let me know until I inquired. Currently on the phone trying to talk to a supervisor and apparently that can’t happen either!!!!! We will be cancelling this order and warn everybody, DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY UNLESS YOU ENJOY BEING TREATED BADLY AND POSSIBLY NEVER EVEN GET YOUR ORDERED ITEM UNTIL YOU FINALLY CANCEL!

I will buy from PED again, great products and delivery unbelievable. The delivery driver went the extra mile to help me get my crated APEX Z TURN MOWER, that weighed over a 1100 pounds off his truck and on to my trailer and off after we got it up the driveway. Thanks PED, this Arian’s mower is the best mower I’ve ever owned. My pasture had weeds over 3 feet tall and this mower handled it like a hot knife through butter.

The only thing that went well was the actual purchase. Shipping has been at a turtles pace. Even today, I have been grossly inconvenienced due to misinformation 6/22/2021. Communication is the pits; supposed to have been delivered between 9 & 11 am, no delivery yet; now at 12:48 pm, its raining torrentially, and Im not accepting nor inspecting nothing in the rain. This is all bad. Maybe I will post an update later...maybe.

This company got me an outboard motor when no big box stores had them. Even dealers were claiming 2-6 month back order times. Now, the item has to be in stock for PED to get an item expeditiously. The website showed how many motors were available and I got lucky enough to snag one. They have a good variety as well. Within a few days I had received the delivery appointment phone call. I could’ve received the motor within 3 days, but opted for a date that I was home to help unload it. The delivery service that dropped it off (SAI I believe) was also fantastic. They arrived on time, used the lift gate to drop it, and the driver got it off the crate and helped me get it on my appliance dolly. Highly recommend this company if you want to bypass the third party hassles! Will definitely buy other products!

First of all this company is a drop shipper they do not stock generators if that is the product you are looking for get ready to wait for several months. By the way they will not tell you this just hold the funds on your credit card. Power Equipment Direct has worst communication and customer service. Average response time to your email is 3 days. Following a call to your company where I received very rude treatment, Im providing an update to show that I appreciate the owners response. As Id mentioned, Im not out to give negative reviews if I dont have to. This update is not to excuse the associates rudeness, but if the conversation serves as a coaching opportunity, Ill take that in a positive light and bump up my rating from 1-star.In the interest of fairness, Ill also remove the associates name from the review; Ill remove the word Avoid; and Ill make a couple of follow-up comments from my perspective. In over 45 years of working with compressed air, not once have I ever cared about CFM. In this case, I simply need a reliable 60-gallon single-phase single-stage compressor thatll run on a 240v 20-amp or 30-amp circuit. Bonus points if its on the quiet side. An easy sale!Re coaching, please understand that a potential customers needs may vary. Better listening skills on the part of the associate would go a long way, and in no way did I deserve discourtesy. Thanks for your response and never stop improving.

Gotta say, the customer service here is excellent. And Im picky. Their rep initially gave me an incorrect model number for mulching blades, so when they arrived they did not fit the mower. When I notified Mowers Direct of this, they immediately ordered the correct blades free of charge, and refunded the entire purchase price of the incorrect blades. They apologized for the error not just with words, but with action. They now have a loyal customer and I will order from them again

Sharing a similar story as one I saw posted a few days ago. PED does a great job of creating pre-inventory for items with high demand. I needed a few small motorboat engines and worked with Dale on my order, who was wonderful. No boat dealer near me or elsewhere had these engines (they were on multiple month backorder). PED orders months ahead, which was greatly appreciated. My only issue (4 versus 5 stars) is with the delivery notifications. I signed up for tracking, and was notified the engines were delivered, but they werent. They were delivered from what I assume is a national freight shipper to a local one (but marked as delivered to final destination, and hence I got a text but saw no engines at my house). Im assuming Ill get them today and that the end shipper experience will be great, but would have been wonderful to have avoided that blip in the experience. Very dishonest co., was trying to purchase a product they said was in stock paid with e-check the salesman said payment would be drawn upon shipment, the very next day was sent an email saying new delivery date would be 6 months from now instead of 5-7 business days that was promised before I gave the e-check info. I called salesman back to cancel the order and he sent me an email stating order was cancelled only to have power equipment direct withdraw 3700$ dollars early the next day, so I called my bank and stopped payment right away please do not do business with this company, they are not very honest

This latest buy was for a cordless snow blower which was perfect for my needs. Even though a record breaking blizzard broke as I bought it, it was delivered only a day late and I have been thrilled by the normal excellent service by PED.

Recently purchased a Power Generator from PED with a request for them to price match Lowes price. Because Lowes was Temporarily out of inventory, PED would not match the lower price. Within 4 days after placing my order and before the genrator had arrived, Lowes had the same generator in stock for $180 less than PEDs price. I called PED and again asked them to match Lowes price and they refused. In most cases I would have returned this item and purchased it from Lowes, but it was going to cost me over $300 for return shipping. Im keeping the generator, but the lesson here is to purchase from your local supplier if you can becuase they will honor price matching up to 30 days after you purchase the item and should you need to return the item, it wont cost you your first born to send it back. Buy locally 1st!

You can order ahead or go in the front of the building to the sales department and order equipment right there in person, load up and leave with what you need as its most likely in stock. They are attentive and ask you if you need help as soon as you walk in. Offer a great selection of good quality names. Im a happy customer, will be back.

Very frustrating experience.It turns out these guys have several names including ecomfort.com, A company that likes to advertise for items that doesnt exist in their inventory then hold onto customers money for several weeks and then, act like oh we couldnt find it in stockWhats sad is I found this using the Google shop search. So I hope Google recognizes that these guys are predatory sellers, who Phish for customers. Especially since the item I was looking for was NEST related which is owned by Google.

I live in a rural area of n/w Wisconsin. I ordered a larger (11,500/9,200 w, 225 lb.) portable generator on Thursday. It arrived the next Monday before noon. The box/packaging was 100% in tact - no visible damage at all. The generator appears to be in perfect condition - no transport damage. And their price was the best I could find. The people I spoke to on the phone, both from PED and the transport company that they used to ship the device, were all friendly and knowledgeable. I havent tried it yet, but Im hoping the generator works. Overall an excellent buying experience to this point.

The product was delivered in a timely manner but. According to my tracking number I was supposed to receive a call for delivery which I did not.! They just dropped it in my drive way and left . Which normally would be fine. But this item is in high demand around here and are being stolen every day. I did not pay over $5000 dollars to have it stolen. I have not unwrap the product yet so I’m hoping there is no damage to it. If there is I’m expecting a refund on it or replacement. We ordered a sump pump from Power Equipment Direct a year ago. It arrived very promptly and worked well for a year when the switch malfunctioned. We contacted Power Equipment Direct and were told that since the pump was under warranty, it would be replaced at no charge as soon as we sent in the required proofs of purchase. True to their promise, they sent a brand new pump in just a few days. Great service!

I ordered a pressure washer extension wand from POWER EQUIPMENT DIRECT.I placed my order Friday morning May 17. I wanted the item to use on Memorial Day, May 27. POWER EQUIPMENT DIRECT site says it ships in 2 – 5 business days. Only after placing my order did I discover the projected delivery date would be Wednesday, May 29. After looking for quicker delivery, since I needed it Memorial day, I found the part on POWER EQUIPMENT DIRECT e-bay site which states “This item has an extended handling time and a delivery estimate greater than 10 business days.” This information should be stated on the POWER EQUIPMENT DIRECT product page.There was NO activity on the order until the following Friday, May 24, when I received notice order was processed.Item finally left Florida Saturday May 25. Wednesday evening May 29 I received e-mail from POWER EQUIPMENT DIRECT that UPS was unable to deliver. Thursday morning I called POWER EQUIPMENT DIRECT, talked to John in sales. John didn’t know why my call was transferred to him (Sales) instead of Customer Service. He directed me to call UPS, which I did. Neither call resulted in explanation why delivery was delayed. Item was finally delivered Friday afternoon May 31.

Untrustworthy company.Dont believe the hype about the man who founded this company because he could not find a piece of equipment. It does not reflect the values of a good company. The people working here maybe be nice but the company policies are out to get you.First they sold me a wrong type of cable. I told the agent who helped me what I wanted and yet they sent me a 30AMP connector cable instead of a 50AMP. OK, I say mistakes happen but the I tried calling them. No luck at all. I called 6 times on six different days and was kept holding for over 76 minutes and then I hung up as I had to attend to other business.Then I sent them two e-mails telling them in detail what had happened and that I WANTED TO RETURN THE ITEM. They replied after a few days BUT did not give me instructions or Return Authorization Number. THEIR RETURN POCY STATES THAT ITEMS MUST BE DELIVERED T THEM WITH 30 DAYS. So now I am getting panicky as they do not send me the RMA# and 30 days are getting near. I called again and same story ... kept holding for hours. no one answers... I send them 2 more e-mails.... Then I get reply on July 13th that the items NEEDS TO GET TO THEM BY JULY 18TH if I wish a full refund. Can you believe that? I live in California and they know that as it states on the order and it takes UPS 7 business days to deliver by ground and under these COVID restrictions it could take them 10 business days. These people at Power Equipment Direct and Generator Direct are real scam artists. Now it is going to cost me over $75 to return the $156.00 item back to these scam artists. Totally bogus company.

I have had several deliveries from this company. I have not had a single bad experience. Always helpful, always on time. The drivers always going the extra mile. Today I received a four hundred and fifty pound compressor to my home. My instructions were to leave it at the top of a very long driveway. When I got home, The machine was right next to my shop at the end of the driveway. No one asked him to do the extra work but he did it just to help out. Very Fast shipping and packed very well, not even a dent in the cardboard box when it was delivered . Delivery was between 12 to 6 pm and received a call from delivery driver and 40 minutes later he was at house. Helped me get it in the garage. This is one of two products the we have purchased from Power Equipment Direct that we will ship with our other items to Northern Europe to use on our property there. It was also very easy to order thru their website, thank you, I look forward to using my tiller.

The absolute worst example of an online company. These guys shouldn’t even be in business. They offer zero customer service and send out faulty / defective goods. Just check out the better business bureau / reseller ratings/ yelp for many more reviews saying the same thing. They don’t stand by their products and deflect all issues on to the manufacturer. We ordered a $1500 snow blower and out of the box it wasn’t working correctly. The wheels failed to engage. All they do (similar to the Toro review) is tell you to go to a local service dealer. They refused to offer a refund. My guess given all the reviews is that they are a warehouse that houses faulty products and sell them at regular retail prices. They know as soon as you turn it on any issues can be resolved by the manufacturer and they wash their hands with you. We wish we had performed more due diligence with this company given all the negative reviews we’ve recently found and we hope this review will help avoid the mistakes we made by buying from this company to other new customers. We are working on getting a full refund and will engage court action if the company continues to refuse a refund. Absolute disgrace of a company.

I purchased a 7 ft. pressure washer extension from Power Equipment Direct via eBay. I was having a hard time getting the quick connect fittings to connect properly, but Brian their resident pressure washing specialist patiently walked me through the process of making it work for my setup. At one point, it didnt look like the parts were going to match up, so Brian offered to return the item - but also was kind enough to continue troubleshooting with me. Together, we got it working - and its now an awesome solution for me. Hes a wizard, and now Im a huge fan. Best customer service Ive ever received on eBay. Thank you!

I ordered what was advertised as a direct bolt on replacement motor, when the motor arrived it was not a direct replacement and could not be used on my customers mower. I contacted the company about a return and was told (by customer service on the phone) to return it to an address they provided. I then paid 178.00 to ship the motor back to the address they provided me. I was told a couple days later that I shipped the motor back to the manufacture and that I would have to pay a 25% restocking fee (they gave me the address, to return it to). Grand total I lost 400 in restocking fee and almost 200 in shipping and none of that includes my time lost. Customer service was rude and told me no way would they waive the fee.AVOID THIS SITE!

Shipping was 2 days. Awesome. The package arrived, but was an opened package. I dont recall the sale as being an opened package. It was not folded in the torn open plastic bag that came in the Milwaukee box. The bag had been just ripped open. The product was crammed into the bag with no care. The item was a Milwaukee heated hoodie only. I have not purchased a battery and charger for it as yet, so functionality is unknown at this point.

Unfortunately, I was required to give at least 1 star in order to write a review. I would strongly recommend purchasing your products elsewhere. They will not honor a warranty as stated. We purchased a sink drain pump for use in our shop June 2016. It was installed August 2016. The product was installed by a professional plumber per specs. The pump quit working mid-use at the beginning of December. The pump came with a 1 year warranty, however, after many phone calls and discussions the company refuses to warranty our product. The reason they will not warranty the pump is because they are asking us to return a tag that is supposed to be attached to one of the power cords. We would do that IF the cord had a tag attached to it. There was never a tag attached to this cord. It has been in our sight since it was removed from the original box. We have even asked if we could ship the entire pump back. They will not do anything to resolve this issue. Beware before buying any product from this company or any of their other companies. They own at least 10 other companies. Take the time to read the reviews.

Incredibly disappointing. My brand new snowblower was an out-of-box failure and I had to contact Toro for help. They, like PED, were essentially useless and I had to take the unit to a local service center for repair. Fortunately, the warranty covered the $200 it would have cost me. Very doubtful that I will buy a Toro product again and will NEVER order such an item online from a place such as PED. No help whatsoever!

I have used on-line business help in the past, and all I heard back was crickets and a wolf howling in the mist. So imagine my surprise when, after filling out a help request to select a new sump pump- I HEARD BACK! Soon enough to be helpful! They commented on the info I had provided, ask asked for a few more details I hadnt given. Did you know, for example, that the plastic well you put in the floor of your basement for a sump pump? They arent all the same size! Mine was only 12 deep, and that had ruled out the pumps I could find locally, and was why I found myself at the Power Equipment Direct web-site. I really am this please, and-oh, this is Martin, not Meridith, but I dont have a Google account and couldnt leave a review, and I didnt wanna open yet another account I would never use again! (phew) so If you need to order something and not not sure of exactly will be the best for your need, please give these good people a try.
