Best experience ever with them! We took my car in after having Midas “repair” our axel. Found out we never had the part replaced but was charged for it. He not only fixed it (and for a much better price), they took pictures for us and help guide us on what to do for us to get our money back. The integrity of this shop for a young couple has not only fixed our car but didn’t break our wallet. There is a reason why it has such a high rating! Do yourself and car a favorite and have these guys fix your car.

I had to find a shop to change out my AC compressor on my 2015 mustang. Since I knew nobody in the area I went with the reviews. Mazel was well liked and the reviews were consistently good. He worked with me on the appointment, the work was done in a short day and it’s nice and cold now! I found everyone to be nice, it’s kinda your neighborhood garage setting. Upfront with costs and it was an easy transaction. I’ll definitely return with my other cars.

I explained to Alex the situation with my AC not working at all in my 2008 Ford Escape. Just experiencing hot air. I dropped it off. He did some testing to resolve what issue was and called me to advise me and get my permission to perform the work. I said go ahead install new blower motor please! He replaced blower motor and advised one more part needed to be ordered. We will do that next week. I now have ice cold ac. Its super hot her in south Florida so its a blessing I was able to find Alex and his shop Mazel Auto repair. He was very honest and his prices were extremely fair. I have lots more work to be done on my Escape for other items non AC, to bring my Escape up to better performance. I would and will absolutely highly refer anyone I know who needs their car fixed. I spend most of my time in Chicago but get to Boca several weeks throughout the year, so I dont have a lot of solid business contacts here. After my Mercedes SUV wouldnt start following a Supplemental Restraint Systems malfunction light, a friend suggested I check out Mazel (owner Alex). So very glad I did! I called him first thing in the morning and he had a mechanic out to location of car within the hour, who soon thereafter was able to get the car started but diagnosed a weak battery as root of SRS malfunction. After I drove to the shop and met Alex, although his shop was already very busy, he was able to get the battery delivered and installed in very short order. Price for the entire effort was very reasonable. I instantly trusted his professionalism. And the fact that he has roots in Chicago made us fast friends. Before the work was done, my wife caught a nail in a tire of our other car as she was coming to pick me up while battery was being delivered. Alexs guy repaired the flat tire in, literally, 5 mins and did not charge a penny! Mazel/Alex is keeper in my book. I highly recommend!!Lawrence O

Alex was professional from the minute I called him in an unexpected situation. I broke down in Boca, far from my familiar mechanics. I was hesitant to try someone new as a single female broke down on the side of the road. But he was professional and courteous. Single ladies, I know you feel like you gotta protect yourself against the mechanics that are gonna try to pull one over on you, and I felt the same way. I know enough about cars, but not THAT MUCH, lol, but you dont gotta worry with Alex! He personally showed me the damage to my Jeep upon request. He made great recommendations on what I could do/where I could go to kill a couple of hours in above average temperatures for S. FL. I was able to turn a horrible breakdown into a somewhat relaxing day...Alex kept me informed of the situation and completed the job in a reasonable amount of time at a fair price. He definitely went above and beyond to make sure that my Jeep was working properly and that I made it home safely after his work. I cant thank him enough for his time and professionalism, and I would recommend him to any of my friends or anyone else in an emergency situation like I was!!!

They did a great job on my 2006 toyota sienna, I had to get control arms and CV axles replaced. He fought tooth and nail with those rusted in axles but he managed to get them out and he charged a very reasonable price for the trouble it was to do.

My truck broke down on the street in front of the shop, he came out and diagnosed it as a bad alternator put a new battery in it from his shop so I could get it off the road and into his parking lot where he put a new alternator in and charged my battery. I took my Toyota Sienna to him two year before to fix an A/C issue. After that I have taken multiple cars to him. He is a very smart, honest and reliable mechanic. As long as he in this business, my cars are in safe hands. I referred him to all my friends No one around this area can match with his estimates.

Needed a new engine for my 2000 TJ. I would call myself a novice mechanic, doing most repairs myself, but an entire engine swap is out of my scope. I visited every mechanic within a five mile radius that had good reviews and ended up choosing Alex and Mazel to do the work. I had a wide variety of quotes, and his was the most reasonable. Quick turnaround and always keeping me in the loop. He’s a good guy who won’t gouge you like some other shops will. One shop quoted me 900 dollars over, even though I had already known the ballpark labor time for the job. Go to Alex and you won’t regret it.

I had the opposite experience from most. For me it was a nightmare. I needed one of my inside door handles replaced as well as the door handle actuator on a second door. I was quoted about 200 dollar. I came back to all four door handles replaced (not what I was quoted for or agreed upon), the actuator NOT fixed and him handing me a bill for 330 dollars so, and I quote, his guys could make some more money off of me. A week later two of the doors they replaced without consulting me at all stopped working completely and the door siding started coming up.

Called looking for an oil change to be done asap as I was past due 1200 miles and had somewhere to be in 2hrs. He said sure come in we will take care of you. I got there he took the car in right away and 30mins later I was on my way. Unlike most shops that give you a 3hr window even when you have an appointment for something like an oil change.. this shop was a breath of fresh air. Ill be going back to have my mass air flow replaced because as a mechanics daughter I can say I trust this guy.

New Customer - Brought in for 60K service (Im at 67K)Transmission and brake fluids and filters changed, new wipers, and found and fixed a tire issue.. $216!(Dealer quoted $420.00 for just the CVT and brake fluid jobs.)I was a little worried that the job wouldnt be thorough because the communication wasnt strong upfront. Ive been to Mazel three times in the last year--only because my Corolla is ten years old and things are wearing out. Alex is an excellent, very conscientious and honest mechanic. He will save you hundreds of dollars over what a dealership would charge. (They have to pay for their fancy facilities, their free snacks, and all their employees!) He asked me to review him, and I happily give him 5 stars. Thats the least I can do!

Honest, fair, reasonable and friendly too.I knew the dealership was trying to rip me off so I called Alex. He was able to get my Honda AC fixed for less than 1/2 the price of what the dealership quoted. In addition I was due for an oil change, the dealership suggested a tire rotation too and a bunch of other services. I am happy I went to Alex because he did only what was needed and saved me lots of $$$. Oh, the job was done in a reasonable amount of time too!

Drove down to Boca raton from the western North Carolina mountains. My heater core broke but luckily I was able to make it down without getting stuck on the side of the road. My mechanic that I normally used had his number disconnected (hes in his late 70s) so I had to seek out a new mechanic. I called Mazel auto repair and spoke to the owner, Alex. I had a good feeling about this place even over the phone. I went to the shop and even before I had a chance to speak to Alex, a couple of his existing customers who were there couldnt say enough about how I found the right place. Alex listened to repair needs and fixed the heater core and my AC compressor for me within a day and a half., thereby not delaying my drive home. The work was done professionally and quickly. Had no issues with my Chevy pick-up all the way home and the repairs made are holding up very well. I still have a business in Florida with a Ford van and Alex will be my go to mechanic from now on.
