I needed to replace a door cable that had snapped on my KitchenAid dishwasher. Its tricky to pull the unit out and put back in correctly because of the tile floor and other factors. Sears isnt the cheapest alternative but for me its totally worth it. They know exactly what theyre doing have the exact right tools and get the job done right.

The serviceman arrived on time, was pleasant and efficient. But he said the gaskets for my Kenmore Elite refrigerator are no longer available. Similarly, a few weeks ago I was told the parts for my Kenmore Elite oven were no longer available either. So I paid for 2 service calls and still had to buy new appliances. Neither was more than 8 years old. If you have Kenmore appliances that need repair, save the fee and just buy new.

They showed up on time but promptly announced they could not get the part even though this was a Sears washer and they are the authorized Sears service. We paid $90 for a service call but no work was done. Save your money and replace the machine.
