Burke Décor has won me over. I purchased the beautiful Crockett Desk in White Wash & Antiqued Dark Grey from them in December 2020. After a few months I noticed a very rare defect in the material of the desk. I reached out to customer service, and they were very helpful. After a few days they came back to me with a remedy that I was more than happy with. I would absolutely recommend Burk Décor to anyone looking to make a furniture purchase. Not only do they have great products, but they stand behind the quality of their products and have amazing customer service! I’d give them 6 stars if I could.
Terrible experience trying to return my item and get a refund. After sending it back we heard nothing for a month. We reached out and they said the refund had been issued and that we should see it in 10 to 14 business days which is outrageously long and conveniently put the purchase date over 60 days ago (the limit to dispute the charge). It never showed up in our account so we reached out, in total, 3 more times. Each time they said that it was issued and that we should see it in 2-4 business days. They are either incompetent or purposely not giving me the refund. Im not sure which is worse.
Finding exactly what you want in wallpaper is tough. If you are like my family and I, it is nearly impossible. That is until we found the enormous and extraordinarily unique selection at Burke Decor. The paper is beautiful, durable yet feminine (for my daughters room) has a classic feel but upon closer look s a bit on the unusual side. We just love the paper, and the service we received was personal to the point I felt like I was working with a small boutique and they cared about my experience.
I purchased three times with Burke Decor and loved all my items! Never had any issues items came beautifully packed will shop with them again!
Like other reviews have stated, they take your money upfront, and you are left waiting months on end for an update as to when the items will ship. One of the items I ordered a few months ago still has no anticipated ship date, and they do not update you as time goes on. They take your money and you are forgotten. I havent had luck in emailing them for a response, so Im going to call and request cancellation/refund on some of the items. I will update this post when I receive an answer, but at this point, I would certainly NOT recommend ordering from this company.
SO not happy with this purchase. The chair was gorgeous online, extremely expensive but when I received it, it feels and looks cheap and the entire leg is broken. Its not painted everywhere and just looks cheap. For an almost $700 chair, I expect it to be just about flawless. When I try to contact someone, I get one response then no responses after this! With a 30 day window to return, I need a timely response to get this figured out and still cannot get through to ANYONE via phone or email.
Ordered a rug they show available on their website on June 26. Called just before the 4th of July holiday just for an update. Was promised a response in two working days. Did not hear anything so called again two days ago. Was promised a response by the end of the day. Did not hear from them until an email was sent to me yesterday at 2:30 in the afternoon. The rug is discontinued and has been discontinued for some time. Well before I placed my order.
Placed my order for a record player about a month ago and have heard absolutely nothing from them. I have sent them emails inquiring about when the package will ship and have still heard nothing. I read the reviews before ordering and against my better judgement decided to place the order anyway, take my advice and steer clear of ordering anything from this place. I have already received a record player from another company and at this point I’m just trying to get a refund for my $200
I ordered Iberia large chandelier for $3,000 on July 6. The amount was deducted from me account. Burke notifies me via email July 9th that the item was discontinued. I ask for a refund...it is July 23rd and Burke Decor still has NOT issued a credit for $3,000. Is Burke using my cash flow to be an ongoing concern? Burkes bad behavior should be considered by all potential buyer.
If I could provide a zero I would. Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Ordered a chair in November of 2020 and it’s the end of June 2021. No Chair. No follow up! Same lies over and over and over. Now they told me it would take 7-14 days to refund me. Absolute joke! I will never use this company ever again. The should have looked at the reviews before placing my order. It’s tells a good story.

I ordered the ripple glass set and the ripple carafe set in June. The order confirmation stated that the ripple glass set would ship Oct 2021, and the ripple carafe set would ship late July 2021. Well its mid August and no sign of the carafe set. I get that items get backordered and things are slow right now due to COVID, but these arent even furniture items, not sure why glass cups and a glass carafe would take so long. My bigger problem though is that this company charges your credit card when you order, rather than charging it when the item ships as would be the ethical thing to do. The customer service has been lacking as my attempts to get in touch with someone to inquire about the items have been futile. A company should not charge a customer until the item is shipped, as I see numerous other reviews on here stating that they were not only charged but that the item was discontinued and they would have never found out had they not looked into it. This is unethical. Please send me my items, Burke Decor!
I ordered outdoor chairs and a table in March. Ive been waiting for the chairs for a few months now---informed by the delivery team that its in stock---but only one chair was delivered. And despite countless calls to retrieve and schedule the rest of the merchandise, no one has called and resolve this. Its been going on for weeks now and Im stuck with one chair only. Ive sent emails, spoken to multiple representatives, and no resolution---just many empty promises. I would NOT order from here...because if anything goes wrong with your order, no one will answer or attempt to resolve. There are too many other options for home decor that have MUCH BETTER customer service (they actually call back, provide options, and follow through on solutions)---Burke Decor does none of this.
I had a great experience purchasing from here. The magnets I bought are adorable and great quality. My 1.5 year old loves them and knows the names of all the animals already. They have a great selection of unique and high quality childrens toys and accessories.
Ordered my brother a killer record player for his bday. It took a week to arrive, which was no big deal- it’s well-designed and the sound is excellent.
I’m extremely disappointed with the black lava table I bought at Burke Decor and even more with their customer service or lack there of. I’ve had this outdoor table for less than a month and it full of stains. I kept the table covered as suggested but it’s completely ruined. I didn’t even get to use once. Have been trying to do a return but can’t get an answer from customer service. Do not recommend
Ordered the Yamazaki Sliding End Table in white/ash. Item was well packed and arrived in great condition. Very happy with purchase. 20% off sitewide made prices better than on Amazon. Will order again and tell others.
Like all the rest of the reviews on google say, terrible terrible terrible company. Rude staff, they don’t return phone calls, they won’t ship your order for months on end, they also won’t give you back your refund when you request to cancel your order… you have to fight them to the very bitter end! Not professional, they also don’t stock majority of the items that claim “in stock” on their website. They order it from the manufacturer after you place the order which is why it takes forever. Company is a joke. I hope the owner suffers with this business in the same way they make their clients suffer. Keep up the terrible service and see that it will lead to your business closing its doors for good.

I have called customer service a few times and all I get is “you will be contacted when it arrives to the warehouse”.The expected shipment date on their site is misleading and wrong, if you want to receive your item in a timely fashion, don’t shop here... Nice staff when I paitently wait 2 days for an email response or on hold for 2 hours. However, after reading other reviews and burke staff having no idea when my order 397336 will ship(how is that possible in todays world) I think that I am going to be told after the refund period that my item doesnt exist. If its not shady its just terrible outdated logistics with no explanation. If anyone sees this from burke ship or refund ASAP.
Originally ordered items in November intended as Christmas gifts. Its late April and they are still MIA. Customer service is dreadful. Terrible experience - avoid at all costs for your own good.
Ive purchased many items from Burke Decor, but wont any more. While the occasional transaction goes well, more often than not items take weeks (>1 month) to ship, and multiple-order items routinely ship in partial shipments. Rather than proactively provide notification of shipping delays, Burke leaves you to wonder where your items are. Upon inquiring, Burke has told me more than once that my order cannot be fulfilled at all due to production issues or otherwise, and offered an exchange for a different item (not a refund). While the website offers a nicely curated collection of items, purchasing from Burke isnt worth the unreliable delivery and lazy customer service.PS: Look at many of the other reviews here. Youll note that this is a trend that Burke ought to be aware of by now but has seemingly not corrected.
Poor costumer service. After 2 weeks of emailing to check the status of my order with no response, they told me it was back ordered for a month, but no one cared to check. This is suboptimal for us who work with contractors that need specific dates. Will never order from here again and recommend you look somewhere else.
They didnt update about my order delivery delay or reply my emails for cancellation. I needed to dispute in my credit card because theydidnt cancel. Im even not sure if this company is real.
Placed an order after looking at their page for some time. Not realizing that the negative reviews and comments were removed by them. There is no customer service, no response but someone takes your money when you make a purchase. It’s despicable. I’m out an amount that won’t break me but you should be ashamed of what you’re doing to people.

Ive called customer service three times and emailed them once. They are not helpful at all. I just get the run around. They either tell me they will check into it and email me or that is is supposed to ship that day. Ive received no emails with any information. Everything tells me this place is a scam. Please do yourself a favor and listen to the many other bad reviews of Burke Decor. I made the mistake of ignoring them and ordering a rug from this company. I had done a lot of research into finding the exact rug I wanted for my home before purchasing, so I made sure the serial number and photos on Burke Decors website matched.Burke Decor sent a completely different rug; it was the same designer but the wrong rug. While this was an inconvenience, I understood that mistakes happen. I contacted customer service a few times to sort it out. After finally getting a response and a few back and forth emails with them, the customer service rep told me I had received the correct rug. I sent photos (which I have attached to this review) to show that the rugs were, in fact, different. Its been weeks and I have never heard back.Absolutely appalling customer service and business practices. I will now be out a restocking fee (even though they were at fault) and am no closer to having the rug I ordered in my home. Seriously, dont waste your time.
The rug I ordered is beautiful. It feels great under foot and has lots of padding and is super plush. The colors are perfect in my newly remodeled power room. One thing to note: though described as taupe and khaki, the colors in the border are more on the grayish side leaning toward taupe and are not, thankfully, leaning toward the green shades.I think it could have been a screen monitor difference, but overall the field of the rug is a perfect creamy color. Ordering was completely hassle-free. Couldnt be happier.
Agree on previous reviews about this site being a total scam!! They will STEAL your money and never ship you the item. Its been a MONTH AND A HALF (yes, you heard that right!) of trying to get in touch with this company for an online order that I never received. They charged me on November 30th for an end table that was labeled as Shipping at end of November 2020. Customer Service is next to non existent. I had to wait 2 days after my first email to get a response saying that their manufacturer changed their operating system and that I will be notified as soon as they find out tracking info. This was a MONTH ago. Since then, Ive followed up 7 TIMES only to be told that Ill have to keep waiting. Finally on December 25th, I lost hope of ever receiving my order and asked them to cancel this and give me a refund. Its been 12 ADDITIONAL days and they are still holding onto my money with no justification, rhyme or reason!! At this point I have no choice but to dispute this theft with the credit card company! STAY AS FAR AWAY AS POSSIBLE!!!

I sent a message to Burke Decor on January 23, 2021 after receiving nothing other than the confirmation email from my purchase date. I received a follow up response on January 26, 2021 stating the following:Our logistics team has provided an anticipated shipping time-frame of late March. Given the current conditions, we are experiencing a production delay and this is the estimated date from the manufacturer.As we do our best to get your order to you before or within this time frame, please note that sometimes obstacles may arise and the date may vary slightly. We will notify you as soon as we have any changes in your lead time.Once your order ships, we will email you the tracking information. Or if you would like to exchange for another item, please let me know and I’d be happy to assist you with an exchange.Please let me know if you have any questions.Best,ArianaThats it folks. No, we sincerely apologize for the delay. No we understand that having to wait 3 months for your item isnt ideal. Nothing. Received wallpaper I ordered, but was concerned seeing an email after receiving the wallpaper saying it had shipped.Still waiting on dining chairs I ordered a month ago that said they ship within 1-3 business days. Can’t get a hold of Burke or the third party delivery company - Pilot. Have other items that are supposed to be coming as well. I will not order from this company again.
Love it!!!! Just love the Nest Oil diffuser. I use it myslef & just gifted some to friends. They are Nest lovers too! The scents are fragrant & not overpowering. Burke has a huge selection of candles, they carry everything Nest and many other brands that i will try out in the future. Thank you!

Scam site. I ordered a product from them on December 1 and called/emailed several times between then and when I hadn’t even received a SHIPPING confirmation by December 23. There’s no over the phone customer service available. I sat on hold for nearly three hours total. They only acknowledged me after I promised to leave a review with the BBB (via email). Low and behold my product suddenly had a shipping label (on the 24th, which makes for a very late Christmas gift) and was gotten to me by the 30th. I don’t think I would have received a product or refund if I hadn’t been so adamant. Also, side note, their hq is in Ohio but my product was shipped from Cali and suspiciously enough it seems as though I could have bought this product (clearly with more research) from an actual business located in Cali...less expensive.
I waited 2 months for a table and it’s missing a part so I can’t put it together....now I’ve been on hold for 20 mins trying to figure out this mess. DO NOT RECOMMEND this company
I am left wondering if this website is legitimate or merely a scam. I ordered a clock over a year ago. After my card was charged and many months of waiting, and tons of follow up (that was not worth my time), I was told it was not in stock. They them told me to select another clock which I did and they billed my card again for the net increase of the order. Now many many many many months later they have my money BUT fail to respond why nothing was ever shipped or sent. I cannot overstate how poor their customer service is and am left feeling defrauded if the $125+/- I gave to them. I have no doubt they have read my emails and will see this review, however, nothing will likely be done. At this point I am going to report this to ripoff report and issue a strong warning to other potential to beware!!

Very deceptive sales practices. Black Friday sale is a joke, none of the codes work with any combination of furniture. Called customer service and they made one excuse after another, which led to them doing nothing. Not a single coupon code on their website works, bait and switch all the way.
Could not be happier with the rug and rug pad I purchased through this site. iT was a very straight forward experience and the quality surpassed my expectation. I didnt realize the 2 items shipped separately, but a quick call to customer service solved that and I got the balance of the order a day later. Very happy and will order again.

Poor service for online orders. I needed to call weeks after ordering to check on shipping. They said “oh it’s shipping this week”. I received one item from order. Waited many more weeks, called again to check on shipping. Was told the same it’s shipping this week bs. I did finally receive full order. Feel I never would have received order without pestering them about shipping. Very annoying. I will shop elsewhere, and suggest you do too.
Neede to refund an order, talked to two people, went smooth it was supposed to be refunded. Here I am a week later (and I mean a week after it was supposed to refunded not since I called) and still nothing! Every time I call no answer, leave a message they don’t call back. Will not ever consider using them again!

I don’t usually write reviews but I have to with this company. My table arrived damaged and I’ve called multiple times and emailed a claim with NO response whatsoever. I’ve never had this experience with a company before and it’s the poorest experience I’ve ever had with the lack of care and lack of customer service.
Horrible customer service. Ordered something over 3 weeks ago and we have to constantly reach out to get updates on when our item is supposed to be shipped. Spoiler alert: As of today it has not been shipped. We have left our email with multiple people including someone named Shelia and still nothing has been resolved. At this point I’d love a refund but I’m not sure if the customer service would even respond. Absolute nightmare to work with and would not recommend you shop with them. Ever.
I had a really positive experience and I think the website has excellent choices for updating rooms in your house. I went there for a rug, but ended up ordering a great blanket and small table. Was not sure about the texture and want to give Sheila a special thanks for helping me answer questions when I called, she was very nice - very very helpful. My wife and I look forward to our next purchase.
This store is terrible! Over priced, terrible customer service, terrible lead times (yes slow bc of Covid, yes, but slower than everyone else I’ve ordered from), awful return policy and pictures were off from actual items! I’ll never shop hear again. Unprofessional, nothing but disappointments. You can find everything for less on wayfair and they have way better return policy and customer service.

Online store experience- items took a very long time to ship and shipped individually with very little tracking info. Some items were very poor quality. Another item was broken. When speaking to customer services there was very little transparency given that they had $1000 of my money and I didn’t have any items weeks later. It took too long to get a refund for the broken planter I received. I ended up asking them to cancel the balance of the order as I completely lost faith in them which also was difficult but they eventually agreed to do.
I ordered a Crosley record player as a Christmas gift for my brother and had it shipped directly. Follow-up was very prompt and I had fedex information to track by the next day - so I was really happy.Also got a nice discount and I think the value was great compared to other stores carrying the same item. I have been very happy with the items we’ve ordered from this company. The bar stools work perfectly in the space and when we realized we could use one more they were very quick in shipping another. The candles and glasses arrived safely and are beautiful.As soon as I can decide which bedding I want I plan on placing another order.

This is the greatest store for decorating. My boyfriend and I moved to a small apt in NY and had to start over. We placed 4 orders from the site and loved everything. Products are awdsome and the service has been very good. Recommend!
The customer service was terrible. Very rude. Bought a light fixture that didn’t work out and they would not exchange the item or even work with me at all. Now I am stuck with an expensive light fixture that doesn’t work. I would suggest shopping somewhere else.Update 11/3/19 - they have offered us in store credit. We will be sending the light back this week.

I ordered some lovely wallpaper from London here last year for powder room and just ordered a couple different wallpapers for accent walls in office and foyer. Really pleased with selection – saves from having to find the brand and then sort through their catalog.
They have an online store that cant keep track of inventory. Bought wallpaper that turned out to be out of stock. They never contacted me. I asked for my refund by email and its taking long considering its for a purchase of a non-existent product.
They have great deals and their stuff is bomb. Totally worth the wait.

We registered with Burke Decor for our wedding... I LOVE love everything we got as gifts. Their customer service is beyond an the site is beautiful.
LOVE shopping here because they have an interesting selecltion of things you cant find elsewhere and are unusual but still not too pricey. and I have had nothing but good customer service and easy time of delivery/exchanges.
So happy we have a store in the area that sells wallpaper and so many unique things you cant find in Ohio! I get all of my gifts here.

Worst customer service, charged me for UPS shipping at a premium price, tried to ship to me using USPS standard service. Item still hasnt shipped and they wont refund the order, calling my credit card to cancel the transaction. BUYER BEWARE!

I placed an order for a record player 9 days ago and have not received any update on the order at all. I have sent two emails, and just sat on the phone waiting to speak with someone for over 20 minutes. I had to hang up as I dont have time to sit on hold all day. I wish I had read the reviews for this place before placing an order, as I could have paid just a few dollars more and gotten the record player elsewhere. If youre reading this BEFORE placing an order, look for what you want elsewhere. I wish I had.
I dont recommend Burke, because there are smoother, better communicating retailers out there.I ordered a product, was charged, and received an order confirmation. Many days past without shipping info, so I emailed them. A full business day passed with no response. (Its worth noting they replied to this public review in a matter minutes, but never responded to my customer service inquiry by email.)So I called, and after a very long wait, I eventually spoke to someone that told me the item was backordered. The confirmation email didnt say the item was backordered. The order status page still doesnt say the item is backordered.Very poor communication. Many items are backordered, but the website does not make this obvious. There is very small text, way at the bottom of the product page stating the estimated ship date is next month.I cant say Id recommend purchasing anything from Burke Decor. There are better, more competent and communicative, alternatives.Burke Decor might be cheaper, but youll ultimately pay with frustration.
