Love this place! They have lots of new (to me) drinks to try, the baked goods are tastey and I always get a burrito when we go. My son also loves it and they have several things that are kid appropriate (as a treat). The staff has been super nice every time we go in. There is some seating outside (more inside obviously) and you can order online. You get a text when its ready and the order will be sitting on the counter. So you can just go in grab your stuff and go if you are avoiding indoor places due to the pandemic. Either way, try this place, you wont be disappointed.

Wonderful coffee in a great environment. Seems that they converted an old house into a coffee shop. Inside was very clean and modern. Outside was comfy and the porch type setting provided a great breeze. The staff was kind and helpful in my process of making a decision on what to drink. After I received my drink the employee even asked if I enjoyed it or not because he wanted to make sure I was satisfied. Great coffee and environment for a chat. Ill be returning when I can.

Wonderful coffeehouse with a warm, cozy feel. You can smell the deliciousness as soon as you walk in the door- and we were amazed by the wide variety of flavored coffees and specials. Had the hot Nutella and cold snickerdoodle latte. They were so delicious! The staff was very warm and enviting - I wished I lived near by because this would become by go-ti coffee shop.

It was a very homey type of vibe and it has so many good coffees to try! The people with very nice and welcoming! I would always go there if I lived in Missouri! So wish we had one in Colorado, everyone would go there.

Gem hidden away, Id say! The atmosphere was quaint and inviting. The sectioned off seating areas make for an interesting layout . The outer seating was perfect for as the sun went down. The coffee options were plenty, both hot and cold. Will definitely be visiting there again!

I just went in there I dont like coffee and I didnt eat anything but everything looks good and sounds good, its cute and they have free wifi sometimes they have people from school just go there to do their homework. Its a cute tiny cafe the parking lots on the other side of the house you dont have to park on the street just drive to the back of the house. The only thing I dont like is how small the parking lot is and its hard to find and everythings like double what it should be $ and they close really early but I love the cafe and I think Ill start going there.

This is a really a great little coffee shop! Its comfortable, relaxed and has a real homey feel to it.A reallly nice alternative to the glitzy corporate places. Oh and by the way, they coffee is very good as are the pastries. 😊

Only thing this place needs is a way to deliver. I love this place but can rarely get it because I have to go inside. Especially with Covid times, I hope delivery becomes an option. I would order multiple times a week! Right now I just use Starbucks...and use uber eats. There coffee and snacks here are great quality!

I come to Scouts Coffee every Friday! I love supporting local and their coffee is amazing. My favorites are their Nutella Latte, Irish Cream and Iced Cocoa Latte. The staff is literally the sweetest and their building is super cute inside! Highly recommend!! 🙌

Just what I needed before hitting the trails of Lake Jacomo. A well crafted pour over of the highest caliber. And some yummy looking treats.

After months of driving by and saying, I want to try that place out sometime! I finally did it. Best coffee ever. Seriously delicious. I got so used to the watered down big names of Starbucks, Dunkin and Scooters, that I forgot what truly good espresso tasted like. The espresso at Scout Coffee? *chefs kiss* The place itself is a cozy, renovated home, with fun and quirky decorations. All the staff I have interacted with have been lovely. Super friendly, patient and informative. The pastries are amazing. Cinnamon rolls are a must try. I cant wait to try a new coffee each time I go. The Smores Iced Latte has quickly become my favorite so far. They have both outdoor and indoor seating, free wifi and a huge menu of coffee, teas, and tasty treats. If youre a coffee fiend like myself, and youre wanting to support local, look no further!

I was told they cant steam half and half because it will break the machine. I could have it iced. I conceded. The coffe was EXCELLENT. The flavor profile was so good. Still disappointed it had to be cold.Respnse: I acknowledge your position. I can also say that I have had coffe from local small businesses all around the US including Hawaii (where its hard to get certain equipment)and I have never been told it would break the machine to steam half and half. I would suggest a $40 steamer and frother that can handle the minor request for breve. I was considering coming back today even though the I had to have the coffe cold but Im not sure I like the attitude that somehow wanting half and half in my coffee is an outrageous and unrealistic expectation. FYI half and half is the standard cream in coffee; not oat milk or soy milk

I met a friend for coffee today and it was our first time going to Scout Coffee. I loved it and will be a regular there from now on. Both the owner and his wife were so friendly and make you feel welcome. I got a caramel macchiato and some cranberry orange bread thats to die for. The location feels so homey!

Rosemary Vanilla Latta - 5 stars all the way! It was savory and delicious and perfect. I actually had low expectations because I really like my overly sweet specialty coffees and Im not sure why I tried this one. However, this is DELICIOUS and Ill definitely be ordering next time. Cheers to finding new favorites! I also got a Smores Poptart that looks amazing. I havent tried it yet but I have no doubt that it will be just as tasty as everything else Scout serves.

This was my first visit and I’m sure it won’t be my last. The staff is so friendly and welcoming. I didn’t feel rushed to make a selection, and the barista had a wealth of information.The space was a odd, but I guess that’s the way the house was built and they worked with it just like it was.

The barista was so kind and the food is to die for!! I got the pumpkin pie latte with oat milk and it’s by far the best fall drink I’ve had in a long time. I highly recommend, the won’t disappoint.

So glad I happened upon it this morning! A very welcome and refreshing alternative to the typical chains. It doesnt get any homier than an actual house so you cant ask for any more comfort. Great porch (yes, porch... wrap around, covered and everything) to sit on and wish youd worn your pajamas. Definitely recommend!

Great hidden treasure in downtown Blue Springs!If you just need a quiet place to relax and have coffee tea or possibly a muffin, this is a wonderful choice. As soon as you walk in the door the coffee aroma is wonderful.. there are many separate little rooms several quaint places to meet with one or two people. Weather permitting wrap around covered porch is also up Nice setting for relaxing and doing paperwork or just nothing but enjoying friends.

I dont live in the area but popped in for a cappuccino and to hop on my laptop for a few minutes mid day. Super cute place. Its an old house so its broken up into different rooms, which I think helps keep the noise down. Good amount of people @ 1:30 on a weekday, but not so crowded theres no place to sit. Lots seem to be regulars.I enjoyed my drink here, but I saw an announcement for their to-go policy. No disposable cups/drinks/lids. For $1, you get a reusable jar. See photos for the full announcement. Ive heard of this kind of thing, but never seen it in person.

Great locally-owned coffee shop in downtown Blue Springs. There is comfortable inside and outside seating, and they offer convenient hours. Its a great spot for a business meeting or a special coffee date with your wife. I like that the owners are involved in the Blue Springs Chamber of Commerce and with the Blue Springs School District. I highly recommend Scout Coffee.

The drinks are bold and a little overpriced. The baristissas were lovely and helpful. Nice decor, though the seating was a little sparse; had it been busier it wouldve been tough finding a spot. A pleasant little shoppe all in all.

Great little shop in the middle of a big small town in the kcmo area..prices are slightly steep bought a bag of beans almost 20 lol but Im on vacation and I love to brew myself it saves money in the long run 😜😎Service was cool and attentive light food and pastry available I didnt try today maybe in the future while Im in town..would recommend.

This was actually my second visit to scout coffee but it will not be my last. The coffee was delicious, the space is full of interesting little nooks and comfy seats and the staff is friendly and attentive. My favorite part though, is the to go cup policy. For $1 they will give you a Mason jar, lid and koozy. If that isnt enough, when you bring your jar back they will switch it out with a fresh one and give you a discount. My 4 year old was so enamored by this he started referring to this as his milk jar before we even got home. As cynical a person as I am, that made me love this place even more.

I give this a 4 stars based on the on the shop atmosphere and the fact it is a locally owned shop. However, I was let down by the cappuccino I ordered. It ended up just being a small latte. Luckily they use good beans so it still tasted good.

I LOVED IT! This quality focused coffee shop features coffees from the best roasters in town (currently Messenger, Oddly Correct, and another). Quality equipment, quality baristas, quality coffee, and a nice space makes this, BY FAR, the best coffee shop in Blue Springs!

Stopped in as we were traveling through Missouri. The coffee shop is cute and was adorably decorated for Christmas🎄. Our almond macchiatos were great and the barista was friendly. We will visit again if we are in the area.

This is a new shop to me and I am so extremely snobby about my coffee house choices lol. It is a fantastic little house right off main street repurposed as a coffee house. Great music great pastries ( I had the blueberry muffin) I had a light sweet vanilla Carmel latte ( a little cliche I know) but it was fantastic. Barista was kind, and bathroom clean. Definitely coming back.
