This AAMCO in Blue Springs Missouri by far is the BEST auto mechanic shop in the Kansas City Metro area. They can repair all makes and models of cars. They are very reasonably priced and they stand by their work. When you go to the dealerships, they want an arm and a leg for repairs. Take your vehicle here and you won’t regret it at all.

I broke down close to there shop with a major repair. I’m a transportor with a Ram 3500 one ton pulling a fifty three foot step deck trailer. Max the service writer was very professional and fair in his dealings with me. The owner Mr. Harbans Singh allowed me to store two 53 foot trailers on his lot adjacent to the transmission repair shop, and was very instrumental and professionally involved with the diagnosis and repairs needed to return my truck to a better than pre-damaged condition - along with Ricardo one of his technicians that went above and beyond with the break down and resolve of the mechanical parts and labor needed to get me back out on the road transporting. The process was seamless and they even worked outside of there posted business hours to get me going. My horrible experience started in Bradenton Florida and ended with Blue Springs. My transmission went out in Bradenton and then was messing up when I got home. They had it for a month never giving me report. I don’t feel that they actually fixed the problem at hand I don’t feel that they took the time to actually figure out what the problem was. I personally would not recommend these people and their horrible customer service and lack of communication. I feel like I was ripped off and my car seems worse than what it was

At first I thought it was an okay place. My transmission went out and I was courted 3454.... For the rebuild. I knew that was a fair price and I was okay with that. But I went in to make my second payment and someone had taken the black mat fuel door custom part off of my Jeep I replaced it with a cheap chrome looking steel thing. I asked the owner to pull it up on CCTV and he refused so I went home and got my second key and took off with my Jeep. I wasnt going to let this sit there and get piecemeal apart for the custom pieces that make my Jeep unique. Also when I asked for a printout of my bill after I made the second payment the bill read 32 30 not 34 54. I asked about the $100 discount I was supposed to get off the website because its a national chain he said he put it on there but it wasnt on there and I pointed that out and he said oh oh oh Ill add it. Also there is 22 mi missing and a half of a quarter tank of gas. This is not okay. I understand I didnt have $3,500 to pay for it immediately but to keep it and steal parts from a custom built Jeep is illegal and I will be willing to go to court for years if I have to. The police sided with me and we will wait and see what happens. Ive made two payments one for $800 and one for $900 and I fully intend on paying what I owe minus the parts that are gone. So stressful dont go there.

Good mechanic, they always treated me right. They did quote me too high on a transmission repair, turned out to be much cheaper elsewhere. I would still take my vehicles here for other work.

I called and they were able to look at my car same day. They found nothing wrong with my transmission. But, did find a bolt loose and fixed it for a cheap price. I have had two previous mechanics under my car and neither noticed the loose bolt. Once they looked at it and fixed the bolt. My car drove like it was new.

This company and its current owners are the same people that rebuilt my 4 wheel drive transmission in my suburban over 3 years ago at a price better than anyone in the area with courtesy and a military discount in 1 day. This week we took our 2013 Siena all wheel drive van to them for trouble shooting for 4 wheel drive check up due to not engaging. Once again these folks had me in and out in 2 hours, had my wheel drive working again and at no charge since no parts where involved. Unbelievable, old-fashioned, American style service. Highly Recommend

Took my 2014 Toyota Corolla in for full service, brake and rotors completely new, they got it done within a matter of hours. Car isn’t grinding anymore and drives practically like new. Had no idea the price was gonna be that high but, they did a good job.

My car uses a synthetic blend oil. Every other place I have been to charges me $55 to $60 for an oil change. Aamco only charges me $30 and change for the exact same oil change. I think they are a little high on repairs, but they seem honest and will show you anything that they need to work on. Also, as a woman, I appreciate that they dont talk down to me like Im too ignorant to understand what they are telling me.

AAMCO does good work at a fair price and with very attentive customer service and total honesty. I had quite a bit of work done on my car, and they called me with updates and pricing along the way, and let me weigh my options without any sales pressure. In the end, they charged $1,000 less than another auto shop quoted me, and they got my car done in a day! The owner even gave me a ride to my rental car. I will use them again.

I have been an AAMCO Blue Springs customer for over a decade. I originally went to AAMCO for a repair that I could not do myself. Over the years, I have grown to trust AAMCO implicitly to properly diagnose my car, to offer advice when I attempt the repair myself, and to properly and reasonably repair the car when I cannot. In that time, out of dozens and dozens of repairs, only once has a repair exceeded the estimate, which ended up being for a part that was only available from the dealership. Today, I dropped off my car, which, I think, has a bad starter. Rest assured, I will pick up the car tomorrow and will not have to worry about the starter again.

I took my car to them today and I had constant communication with Brian. He was very nice and was very informative. He didnt assume that just because Im a woman, I didnt understand the lingo. I was very happy with the price quoted to me, but was disappointed when he said more work was required. Although, thats not their fault! Also, before they did anything to my car, they called to make sure I was aware of the price and to see if I was ok with that. So far so good! I see all the good touchy feely reviews on here for AAMCO of Blue Springs. My visit to AAMCO could have cost my daughter thousands of dollars in unnecessary repairs if I had taken their faulty advice. My daughters 2011 Subaru 2.5i Premium service engine soon light came on while driving. When starting from a stopped position the car started lurching and losing power. After taking the car to an auto parts store and having them use their scanner tool. The code was showing a P0700 transmission error code and a P2764 transmission error code. Basically a bad solenoid valve on the transmission valve body. We took the car to AAMCO and they said there was an internal error in the transmission and the entire transmission needed to be replaced. The price range for a used transmission and a new transmission were anywhere from $4500 to $8800 installed and out the door. AAMCO couldnt even tell me the correct model number of the transmission which makes a big difference on whether a DIY weekend mechanic like myself can make the repair or not. After many many many hours of research online I determined that AAMCO was full of it. All that need to be replaced was the bad solenoid valve. Finding a supplier for these valves are practically non existent except for eBay and then you are rolling the dice because they come from China and can take weeks to get. Its recommended to replace all the solenoid valves on the valve body with new ones and since there are 6 of them and if you are lucky enough to find them the price of each one would add up fast to the price of a new valve body. So thats what I did. I replace the old valve body with a new one. The price for a new one is high but much less than another transmission. A new valve body, gaskets, o rings, CVT transmission oil, and additional tools like drive on ramps from Harbor Freight. All together I have between $1100 and $1200 in this repair. I would have been more than happy to have paid AAMCO up to $1500 to replace the valve body parts and labor. Unfortunately that wasnt an option. My advice when you hear you need another transmission and you can still drive you car. Get a second opinion or do some research online. These shops are in the business of making a huge profit on big jobs, not small ones like the one I did. Chances are you might save a dump truck load of money if you can DIY or find someone who will only repair what is needed.An update to this review.... Mr Singh has been calling and calling me about this review. He is was so adamant that he has tried for 3 weeks to get me to talk to him. I returned his call today and heard his side of the story and I still say B.S. He claims he called Subaru and they said that they sold no parts to repair the transmission. He said his parts guy said that no parts were available for the transmission also. He then claims Subaru said the entire transmission needed to be replaced. I said thats sure strange I didnt have any trouble sourcing and buying parts to make the repairs. I said I gave you all the information you needed to make the repairs. I would have been more than happy to have paid you $1500 parts and labor to put in a new valve body. I said either you didnt want to work on the car or you didnt try very hard to find parts. I said the Subaru technical manual even said for the error code the transmission was putting out to replace the valve body. I said I knew when I brought the car to you you were going say replace the transmission. I even called you back and asked what the model number of the transmission was. He was wrong when he gave me his answer. All Mr Singh wanted to do was argue and start yelling at me so I yelled back at him. I said I stand by my review and to stop calling me. I have nothing more to say to you. POTENTIAL CUSTOMERS GET A 2ND OPINION!!!I talked to Mr. Singh and you know it!!! Dont try and make it look like I wont contact you. You have my number. I told Mr. Singh to stop calling me. I stand by my review!!! BTW the car that I repaired it running great!!!

Aamco and Brian are awesome!! My first time to use Aamco was a result of a wreck on 40hwy, I needed my car towed and they were closest. They not only worked with my insurance, but they fixed my car beyond belief for fair and reasonable price. They also had me back on the road asap. The next few times myself or my kids needed mechanic help/ repairs we definitely went back to Brian at aamco. As a single mother and extremely budget conscious I highly recommend the team at Aamco . Really help me out while I was driving across country and my drive shaft dropped. Guys handled the tow and got the repairs done in a timely manner so I wasnt stuck in a hotel room for too long.

I went in for an alighnment, the car had been wrecked and i had just put it back together. I do most of the repairs myself, in some cases i have to go to the shop, hince i dont have that type of equipment, I already knew nothing was wrong with any of the componets affecting an alighnment, I figured they would try to hit me with something wrong that would have to be corrected be 4 alighnment could be done, wow they did not. Alot of shops try to pad their pockets with your money replacing things that might not be needed at that time. This shop did not try to nickel and dime me. My transmission went out on a Saturday evening and I had it towed to AAMCO on Sunday afternoon. I received a phone call from a technician by 10:00 am Monday morning informing me of the problem and estimated cost. They rebuilt the transmission and replaced the TCM. I had my vehicle back by Thursday. I was kept informed of their progress through out the four days. They were very professional, knowledgeable, courteous, and friendly. They got my vehicle back up and running great in a very short time period considering the problem.
