Went there this morning, breakfast was absolutely delicious. My mother is very very picky with breakfast, and she adored it here. In her words “the best breakfast I had out in ages.”I ordered corned beef hash, and the hash brown was crispy and delicious. It takes talent to make a hash brown that good.The restaurant was very clean and had very cute halloween decor, and relaxing music played in the background.The waitress was also very sweet and had a great memory for our orders. Heavily recommend this place.
Best place in Blue Island to get breakfast!!! Family owned and operated, by the absolute most wonderful and giving family. Chef Joe certainly has his years as a professional line cook down, and it shows in his mastery of breakfast cookery at Pilich Station.He also makes excellent savory items and Mexican specialties. No sleepin on Pilich guys!!!
This is a great local diner. High quality, delicious l food, very clean even down to the bathroom, ran by an extremely kind family that delivers excellent customer service. They treat you like family even from your first time visiting. This will be a regular breakfast/ lunch spot for sure.

There is so many positive and nice things to say about this restaurant and quite honestly the low star reviews I read do not do this place justice. The customer service was the best I’ve ever received from any restaurant I’ve ever been to. The food was beyond excellent and it genuinely felt like I was eating a home cooked meal. They treated their regular customers not like customers but like family and that just goes to show how great this place is. I live in Dallas Texas and I definitely will be coming back each and every single time I come back to Chicago. This is a hidden gem thank you Pilich Station Grill!
This is a cozy quaint diner run by the sweetest family. Its across from the high school, and since school isnt in session there is plenty of parking.They are open for carry out and dine in, mask required to go in. Its my go to lunch spot. Im picky about my eggs and Jose always cooks them perfectly. The best pancakes in the area by far. Plus, they are super accommodating. A true Blue Island Gem.

Had a friend bring me here for my first time. Small parking lot but plenty of parking on the street. Family run place...extremely friendly, very clean with inside and outside seating. My 3 egg omelette was very tasty...I would order it again. My friends burger was huge and he loved it. It came loaded with a large amount of fries. I will return!
My husband is a over the road truck driver we stayed the night at the pilot fuel station not far from this restaurant. My husband Google Found this place. So i checked out the reviews and they where good so we decided to walk to this restaurant for some breakfast. When you 1st walk into this restaurant is nothing big nothing extravagant is a small place nice comfortable pleasant atmosphere just the way we like it. The music was playing softly not a lot of hustle and bustle I think thats due to the covid. Write directly their a school i am sure before all this madness started he was getting a lot of business from the students and teachers and staff. Our server was John a young adult very quiet very pleasant very personable he seemed a bit shy but that was OK he took our order and put it in quickly an it didnt take long for us to receive our food. I must say myself and my husband were both happy with our food. this is a place that we will spread a positive word that this is a good place to eat at.Mexican comfort food from what I got I dont eat meat so they had a couple of options for me which made me happy. I have always said that no place is perfect if theres anything I found wrong was my beans were cold. But I told Emmanuel and he came took the right away and rewarmed them in the microwave. So for some of u folks that will bother u. not me I am a simple girl I use a microwave all the time I was OK with it .it a wonderful place and yes we will be back again. I also wanted to say John is studying to be a paediatrician I hope and pray he makes it becomes a Successful. He seems to be studying really hard on his downtime while at work I think thats wonderful John dont stop keep reaching for the stars you can succeed at anything in life when you set your mind to it. I think its a great atmosphere I think is a great place and yes we will be back .

New to the neighborhood and wanted to find a nice mom and pop spot. Well I found it. Food was absolutely delicious. Staff is so nice and very welcoming. Prices are extremely reasonable. Will be returning. They just got a long time customer. I definitely recommend this place.
This morning my family and I ate at the Pilich Station Grill and had a great experience. While the restaurant itself is not big, it delivers big on customer service, cleanliness, portion size, and taste. I had the corned beef hash and two steak tacos. They were both great. I will definitely be going back! 😊

Very welcoming staff. Ordered standard bacon and eggs which came with hash browns and toast. The lightly scrambled eggs were buttery deliciousness. Hash browns were awesomely cooked with crunch and without burnt pieces of potatoes. My bacon arrived crispy as requested but was not quite of the quality or thickness I was expecting. Was hoping there would be a breakfast combo with pancakes but there was not. Ordered rye toast which had apparently gotten dried out in the toaster. Appreciated the friendly and smilingly said, Have a good day as I left. Very affordable pricing. Clean and comfortable environment.

The tacos were great! Also while here try their grilled chicken sandwich. It had a good sear on it and was seasoned really well. A lot of hot sauce and salsas options. This was my first time here and made a good impression. It has a local feel and very simple decor.

I eat here a lot since I work right next to it. I like how the service is always awesome and they keep the place well kept consistently. Prices are convenient and they serve generous portions.
We had a late breakfast or early lunch how ever you want to say it and it was excellent! I hope more people will give them a try. Very clean and a very friendly place to eat at. They are coming out with new menus and said they will be adding new things. Give them a try!

This grill is wonderful! The food is delicious, the staff is great, and the grill itself has a lot of charm, simple and clean. Kind of like a grill from the 50s or 60s. They actually take the time to talk to you, and show that they care about the quality of the food. The home made hot sauces are excellent!! I wish I could eat here every day!!

The owners Joe and Sandy, and their boys Emmanuel and Angel are incredibly kind and helpful. The food is top-notch, but the service is over the top. There arent many family-owned businesses like this one anymore. Its a smaller place, and always busy, but weve never had to wait long for a table.
My favorite breakfast spot. I have never been disappointed and Joe always does his best to make sure you are happy with your food no matter what. Keep up the excellent work, Joe!
Decided to try this place based on google reviews....let me tell you I AGREE 100% this restaurant is FANTASTIC!! Me and my coworker had the chicken breast sandwich and it was exactly as described in a review. Chicken was juicy with some good sear on it and to top it off the split pea soup was mmmmhhhmmmm good!! Highly recommend. Will be back for breakfast soon!!

This place is a hidden jem in blue island, tucked away and all alone its food is one of the most wonderful you can find. When all other restaurants are closed, they are open. I wanted a dish that was off the menu so I asked the chef. He gladly offered to make it and omg was I amazed. Its flavors are unique and very beautiful plates.
