This place was fantastic! The people at the front desk where more than kind. I felt so comfortable walking around in the Boneyard that if I had a blanket and a pillow I would have taken a nap for days. I cant wait to go back Im going to try to spend my fourth of July camped out it is so cool

This place is a joke. They will answer the phone and leave you on hold for over 30 mins. Then the guy answers again and simply hangs up. Do yourself a favor don’t waste your time. Get your parts on EBay or Amazon and spare yourself the bs nonsense. Over 30 mins in hold to attempt and order a headlight. I can’t believe this place is still in business.

In the past great place for buy parts now the costumer service was terrible. keep in business is take care of your costumers.

LKQ is not what it used to be and also they dont have good service used to have and if you dont have a credit card you cant get your merchandise they dont take cash and I know why because they dont we find any cash they put it back on your card if you dont have the card you will not be able to purchase your item from them they do not answer the phone so dont call me I have to go over there have a great day dealing with them theyre not what they used to be thank you

Good service good used parts Mike warranty 6 months good quality pars

I have ordered parts from LKQ since 2014. After ordering 2 parts a Fuel Pump and a Bluetooth module that I desperately need for a sold car. I have a vehicle on the rack that I cannot move because the fuel pump went out. I spoke to Mike the manager after waiting a week to find out that they will not deliver to me like they do for everybody else. I am not sure if this a racial thing but I definitely hear the animosity in Buddys voice. He raised his voice and talked over me pretty much told me they will not deliver to me

Came here for a rim & they quoted me a price 3 times higher than what I paid @ their other location to just pull it myself. BUT then I needed a throttle body & they quoted me the same price as the self pull!It was in perfect condition, I only had to wait about 5 minutes & I didnt have to search through endless rows of cars in the cold for my part!I will definitely check here first before buying new or going to the self pull especially since the staff was all really friendly & knowledgeable.

I needed to find an axle for my car. I previously bought an aftermarket but it wasnt the same size. I was able to get an original from here at a good price. it also came with a warranty.

The electric seat on the drivers side stopped adjusting on a 3,000 mile trip, so only I could drive. The dealer wanted $2200 to fix it. LKQ had a used seat for $150 and I had to go through Chicago. It took my son and his sons 45 minutes to change the seats (They had some previous experience). My wife drove 1/2 of the way home. Plus, The seat heater now works for next winter.In addition I had a nice discussion with the cashier lady. Her son will attend Premed school at the University of Wisconsin, Madison, my alma mater, this fall.

Picked up a alternator for someone and put it on the car out in the deep south suburbs and when I went to plug in the electrical connector it didnt fit because it didnt match. Aka. Wrong part. Had to take it right back off. It was on a Saturday so I have to wait til Monday to go back to see if they have to right one because they closed for the weekend. Waste of a day and time.Take your old part in and inspect it before you purchase.

There excellent with quality parts and service but its best to call your part in because they may take a day to take it off and tell u to come back the next day or so

I had bought 5 ac compressors from lkq and none of them seem to work. I have wasted so much time and money on going back and forward. Everyone seems to have a great experience with lkq but not me. Other then that great prices.

I know you hear this a lot, but if I could give zero stars I would, I went in there looking for a part, was told they would have it in a few days, and Id have to pay for it now sight unseen but I said ok no problem.A week passes I dont hear anything, I call my sales representative, no answer I leave a message, no reply, so I decided to stop up there, I was told sorry we never ordered it, itll be another few days, ok wait again, same story, no call nothing and the refunded my money without saying anything. So Im assuming they didnt have the part and didnt tell me or whatever but thats terrible service I do a lot of work on cars and so do a lot of people I know and NONE of us will be doing business there.

It takes LKQ a loooooooooooong time to get telephone service

I called LKQ three times this morning starting at 9:37am. The first time I pressed 3 to purchase parts for my own car and when the person picked up the phone and said hold on I was disconnected, so I called back and this time I was placed on hold for 20 minutes and no one picked back up and the last time I called someone picked up again and all he said was please hold. I waited again for 30 minutes and no one came back to the phone. Horrible phone customer service, hopefully it will be better if I go in person.

Terrible policies...if the computer goes down forget it! Not a real business, no decision makers are ever present and if they sell you the wrong stuff you are not compensated for their mistakes they gave me the wrong transfer case and i shipped it to mn then had to bring it back and they didnt care how much my business lost.

Drove 2 hours to pick up an axle for my pickup truck. When I got there I went to go check out and they brought me the wrong axle. When I asked if they had one in stock they said no. The person working behind the counter who goes by the name Jason was extremely rude. At one point he made it seem like it was my fault for their mistake. They made no attempt to try and make things right.

Very very rude customer service. Some African American guy answered, was loud and rude with me and did not know how to speak proper English. Very rude behavior and bad business practice. Plus as one reviewer wrote, they put you on hold and forget about you if you are buying parts for your own car.

Ordered a sun visor. Took a week and 1st one that came in was broken.....2nd one that came in a week later was obviously the wrong color. 3rd one came in after waiting another week and it was in rough shape but I was glad to finish the job. Try a different location! These guys are WAY understaffed and everyone is grumpy.

Great money for your junk cars. Took mine and got 2 times as much as any place in hammond area gave me. Make sure you get yoir quoye on the phone.! Also make sure that they tell you which location of lkq gives you the highest quote. Went to the chicago heights location first and offered less than the one at blue island. Its a probably a supply and demand thing. Anyways great and easy place.

Great prices for auto parts

I brought a used transmission from them installed it and the car would move, the trans was bad. Next I got a engine from them installed it and the head gasket was blown. They wouldnt warranty it 1700$ down the drain. Stay away from this place they will not stand behind their parts and blame you. I will never buy another part from them.

Place is terrible. Just called looking for some seats, the guy says, we have nothing and instantly hung the phone up on me. I was extremely polite and friendly. I never give bad review, but that really set me off.

Went back twice in one week for a radiator SMHFirst one was dry rotted on the nose and cracked, second one was missing the trans coilNothing they could do after that but refund me my moneyWhy sell parts if youre not making sure they work correctly SMH waste of my time and money Just a horrible experience altogether

I drove 1 hour and 30 minutes just to find out they didnt have the right parts. When I had called them a day before and they said they did have the parts in stock. Their inventory is just so messed up. Plus the guy that gives you the parts in the back just doesnt care about anything. I will not buy there any more.
