Dear Culligan, I am a long-time customer of both your AC-30 and Medallist 8 softener. I called about a month ago to request service on my AC-30, which has a leaky connection. I was scheduled for a Thursday morning a couple weeks later, as you are quite busy. No one showed up after waiting several hours. I called and was told that one of your repairmen had taken a day off, and rescheduled for the following Thursday morning. I said that I was only available until noon and was told that was no problem since they would make a note to get to me before then. Again, no one showed up after waiting several hours. I called at 11am and was told they would come at noon. I said that I was not available in the afternoon and was scolded on how my morning appointment could arrive up until 1pm (hence, I was to blame). Given this, I asked if I could have an afternoon appointment on a Friday and it was set up for the next week. On that day, I was called in the morning and told that again your repairman had taken a day off, but that they would be happy to reschedule me for the next day (Saturday) in the afternoon. On that day, no one ever showed up nor called. This is worse than the cable company!
I love my new softener! No more lime scale on my sinks and my hair feels so much softer. Culligan did a great job on the install. Service man was very nice and wanted to make sure that I was happy with the job.

My wife and I had Culligan come out to our home a few months ago to check our water quality. Rob Middleton came to our house and walked us through the process. Rob was great with helping us understand what we were getting, but when Sergei came out to install he and the other installer did a phenomenal job getting things set up in our area and showing us how to use our new system. The installation itself looks neat and tidy. We had the system installed at the beginning of November and have noticed a definite improvement in the quality of the water in our home. I would give no stars if that was an option. I’ve scheduled my annual service three times now and the tech has no call-no showed each time. First time was due to a death in the family, second was because the tech ran out of time and I haven’t yet heard the excuse for today. The manager scheduled the appointment for today with a promise of being the first stop to ensure I wasn’t missed again. The lack of customer service is appalling. If given the option I would remove their system and never do business with them again. Absolutely ridiculous!
Do not trust them. They use bait and switch tactics, and lie.They charged me 60 % more than standard and lied to me about replacement filters.
Rob Middleton, the Culligan representative, is the person who demonstated the home water system to my wife and me.He did an outstanding job of explaining and then showing the before and after effects the water system.We purchased the complete system. Horrible experience. No one communicates in the company, no follow ups like promised. Took 2 different times for them to come out and install because of no communication to each other. Trying to get equipment removed, no one came and showed up how worked, whole tank of salt gone less than month, absolutely no follow through and communication. Cant reach anyone at next levels up to try to even talk to us. Through I had bad companies before but this one is at the top of the list on bad customer service. One person blaming the other person not taking any responsibility. Going on day 3 of waiting for a call back said would get in 15 minutes, have called and left message again and nothing. Left messages on facebook nothing.
WORST SERVICE THAT I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED. I HAD TO SCHEDULED THE APPOINTMENT TWO MONTHS IN ADVANCE WHICH IS REDICULOUS.THEN THEY DIDNT SHOW UP ON THE SCHEDULE TIME SO I CALLED THEM, THE TECH CALLED IN WITH A FAMILY PROBLEM BUT NO ONE CALLED TO LET ME KNOW. RESCHEDULED THE NEXT DAY BUT THEY DIDNT SHOW UP AGAIN, SAID THAT THEY RAN OUT OF TIME FOR THE DAY. AGAIN NO PHONE CALL.SO I WASTED TWO DAYS WAITING ON THEM AND STILL NO SERVICE.THERE IS NO SERVE IN SERVICE ANY MORE . NOW & IN THE FUTURE, IF YOU CANT FIX IT YOURSELF, YOURE SCREWED. WE HAVE GOTTEN TO A DISPOSABLE SOCIETY........JUST REPACE IT .....
I was very pleased with the finished product. Brian, my sales Rep, was very helpful and knowledgeable. He answered all my difficult questions with ease. He went out of his way to help. Brian, the installer, does great work! I was surprised how fastidious he was with the smallest of details. Everything looked clean and professional upon completion. I will definitely spread the good word.
My house uses well water and we’ve had a regular water softener for years. It has always been extremely hard water and very metallic. It also smelled of sulfur. Before the new system, we paid for water jugs monthly from Culligan and rented the cooler. We decided to get a whole house filtration system from drinking to tap water. Rob was very helpful throughout the entire process, answering questions via text, quickly and precisely. It’s been almost a month since the water system was installed and it’s AMAZING. The drinking water is delicious and all the hardness GONE! I was extremely skeptical that it could be this drastic of a change but it really has removed all signs of odor or hardness. Culligan really came through for us.
Fantastic experience! The sales experience from Rob Middleton was first class. After teaching us about the various benefits of each option it was easy for us to decide which direction to go. No high pressure sales tactics at all. I highly recommend that anyone that has ever wondered or worried about the water you cook with or drink to schedule a consultation with Rob. The water tastes amazing and showers are spa like.From the initial consultation, during the installation, and all the way until the final water test Rob has been a call or text away. If you want to learn more about your water and the options available to you without high pressure sales tactic then Rob is the guy.
This is a zero stars in the customer service department. Long story short in case you dont want to read the whole thing ...4 NO SHOW/NO CALLS for regular maintenance in the last two weeks and I still havent heard from the manager. I get paid by the hour and have take off work for the tech to come out, so at this point I have lost a lot of money. If they ever do get around to this maintenance service call Im sure they will want me to pay them...NO!I called in on March 1st to schedule maintenance on my system and they told me they could get to me March 16, but they would know what time until the day before when they would give me a call. Noon on March 15th comes around and I havent heard from them so I called and spoke to GRACE who was very nice. She told me that they dont print the service schedule until about 4:00pm and I should hear something after that. I was busy at work and hadnt heard anything so I called them at 5:10 and got their after business operator who was useless and knew nothing. On March 16th, the day I took off work for this, NO SHOW / NO CALL by 10:00 so I called them and again spoke with GRACE. She said oh yeah, you were one we had to reschedule because the tech called in. I was a little put off by the lack of communication, but whatever, I need my stuff serviced so lets give it another chance, right! WRONG! Now GRACE tells me that the next opening they have is March 25th which is ridiculous but I had told myself to give them another chance. GRACE told me they dont do Saturday service calls. March 24th at 4:50 I called because I had not heard from them. GRACE told me that someone had just left me a voicemail that the tech would there between 9am and 1pm. I never received the voicemail, but at least I knew when the tech would arrive...WRONG! Another NO SHOW / NO CALL. So I called again and told GRACE that no one had shown up. She said they had to reschedule again but now they realize they had taken down the wrong phone number for me!!! Didnt think to verify any of my contact information after I had called in multiple times. So now I was upset and said I really didnt want to take another day off of work but I would have to because they dont do Saturday service calls. GRACE put me on hold, then told me magically that a tech was working that Saturday March 27th!! Awesome, he would be there between 9am and 1pm. Guess what happened??? NO SHOW / NO CALL!! Thats 3 now if your counting. Monday morning GRACE calls and says it looks like the tech didnt make it out on Saturday, can we reschedule for Tuesday March 30th between 9am and 1pm. Like a sucker I said yes, but this time I actually brought some work home with me so I wouldnt lose money on this again. Guess what? 4th NO SHOW / NO CALL. I left my house at 1:15 to go into work to make some money.Heres the kicker, at 5:15pm (remember the office closes at 5pm and you cant get ahold of them) GRACE calls me again to say that the technician is at my house and no one is home. I said of course no one is home because I was told between 9 and 1. I also told her that at this point I was surprised that I was hearing from her and not her manager. Although GRACE was nice and polite to deal with, a manager should have called at this point. She told me her managers name is MELISSA and that she would give me a call. That was Tuesday afternoon. Four days later and there is no call from anyone trying to earn back my business or even acting like they care for and want to keep their customers. Im not sure what is going on here, or how high up the chain the failure in customer service goes, but TRY TO FIND SOMEONE ELSE TO SERVICE YOUR SYSTEM. If you go with this group PREPARE TO BE FRUSTRATED AND DISAPPOINTED!
Would give 0 stars if I could. We signed up with a different company, and after months it switched to culligan. We canceled our service the beginning of the pandemic and continued to get billed. They were supposed to pick up our rented water filter TWICE that have been just sitting on our garage but no one ever came. So we have a nice $600 bill we have to pay during the middle of a pandemic, right before christmas for a service we canceled MONTHS ago, all at fault of the company not doing their job correctly. If youre thinking of using this company, I recommend looking elsewhere.
I have been a customer with Culligan for more than 10 years and always have had great experience with these guys. This time around my other brand of water softener went out and I called Rob who is my salesperson. He immediately went to my home to check and scheduled the installation the next day. I appreciate all his help and continued support. Those who are looking for quality water softener and drinking water system, you can’t beat the Culligan’s brand name.

We meet Rob Middleton at the home show this year. We were in the process of updating appliances and bath and had been thinking about a water softener. Rob walked us through the options and we made a follow up appointment for a home visit. We had some challenges for him. Water comes into house on opposite side of water heater and drain, wanted to bypass sprinkler system and not have filtration system under the sink. He had a good solution for each challenge. The install team was great. Ran 60 feet of pipe, added a cut off valve at softener site and left the basement spotless. Filtration sytem went in basement and up to sink and fridge. No lost kitchen space. Rob followed up a week later checking the system and making sure we understood the controls and answered our few questions. The difference in water was immediate - taste, feel and utility. Rob and the team truly exceeded our expectations.
I love my Colligan system! I had a less expensive brand for 8 years and was never really happy with it. I guess you get what you pay for. Thomas (sales rep) and Dennis (installer) are both very knowledgeable and professional. They really care about their customers!

I am a second generation Culligan customer. (I grew up with a Culligan system in my parents home). I recently had a water purification system installed in my kitchen. Thomas was very helpful, provided updated information and helped me make the right decision for my home.

We recently moved from WI to OH and were looking for a water softener system for our home. We spoke to Rob Middleton with Culligan. We had multiple phone conversations with him, and he patiently and courteously answered all our questions. He promptly responded to emails, texts and calls. All the necessary paperwork for purchase and installation were done online since we had not moved yet. The installation of the system also took place before we moved to Cincinnati. Frank did an excellent job with the installation. Rob handled the whole process seamlessly and did a splendid job. We just purchased this home and had a Culligan system at our other house as well. Thomas came out to talk to us about the existing system already here and what should be replaced after he tested the water. He was very professional and through explaining everything. Frank installed the systems. He was very knowledgeable about everything and talked to my husband about the systems and how to do the upkeep for the best efficiency. Follow up was amazing. We are not yet using the main kitchen due to remodeling so they have really stayed in touch to come out and retest everything to make sure all is working well. Used Aqua Falls for years before they were bought out by Culligan. Never had a single issue with product or service. Last four deliveries from Culligan Ive been given leaking 5 gallon jugs. Anyone know how far 5 gallons of water goes on a flat surface, like a floor or something? I do now, thanks to Culligan.
Due to the lack of customer service from the delivery drivers not dropping my bottles at my front porch as I have requested & where I leave the empties, they instead leave it at the garage and dont pick the empties, I had to cancel services. If a simple request cannot be followed then there is no reason to pay for the service. I have over a dozen empty 5 gallon containers due to the drivers disregard of my request. If it were not for that, then I would keep the service,but I am now over crowded with containers, a problem not of my making, that they caused. UPDATE- I have spoken with a customer rep and she was appalled that such a simple thing was the cause of my cancelation. Long story short, she corrected my issue and gave me excellent service.
Thomas C. is very helpful and responsive. His knowledge was icing on the cake to a great softener and reverse osmosis system. Our installation man was fantastic as well. We are very happy overall and feel it was worth the investment to have safe, great water easily accessible.
The quality of the products are only outmatched by the quality of the service Thomas Conden has been an amazing resource in helping to set up and utilize my whole house water filtration system. We live on a lake and draw our water from it, but thanks to Culligan and Thomas our water quality is better than our neighbors who have city water. If you are looking for any equipment or service that Culligan offers, I cannot recommend them more strongly.

Horrible experience. Malfunctioning equipment caused flooding to bedroom damaging drywall and baseboard. Furniture and carpet total loss. GM apologetic but ridiculously slow to remedy. Wanted me to sign off on claim without payment for damages. Even asked me to remind him to call him at one point because he said he doesnt always look at his schedule book. Stood me up when he was to deliver the payment for furniture and was short about $80. Asked me if we would accept salt for softener as payment instead of the approximate $80 which was a no on our part. Now 5 months later...same problem occurred. Of course it was on the weekend and voice mail boxes full of the numbers we tried to call. Finally able to get GM because I had saved his cell phone number from the last mess that happened only 5 months ago. And here we are again... Culligan should be embarrassed.

Thomas with Culligan has been wonderful. We kept putting off getting a water softener in our newly built home for a while and this was an issue since the water in our county is extremely hard. Thomas explained the system to us and we ended up also getting the reverse osmosis system as well. We have noticed a huge difference in the quality of our water in just a week. Our shower water feels better, our dishes get cleaner faster in the dishwasher, and the osmosis system gives us bottled water quality drinking water. I am extremely impressed as I was skeptical that I would notice a difference this fast. Thomas was knowledgeable, very polite, and prompt. I cant believe we waited so long to make this very smart and affordable decision!

Our sales person, Rob Middleton, is a great example of how to show excellent customer service. When we couldnt time our regular service with our schedule, he came to our home, over an hour drive each way, to service our system. While here he also retested our water and reset the purifier after I put in a new sink. He could have easily said, wait for the technicians but didnt and did what was needed to keep the customer happy. Great job Rob!!!!!

Culligan tested our nasty tasting water and installed a filter system under the kitchen sink out of the way. They ran a line to the freezer’s ice maker system as well. Once a year we get a notice that it’s time to change the filters and at my convenience they come out and test the water to make sure we are ok and install new clean filters. Four years of happy service and still going strong, we recommend Culligan for any water treatment concerns you might have.
I was willing to deal with the less than adequate and rude customer service when they had Ice Mountain water. Now they have their own spring water which has white flakes floating in it and tastes terrible. Im so upset Ready Refresh no longer delivers to our area and were stuck with this garbage company.
If I could have given 0 stars for customer service, I would have. I have been a customer for many months now and have always had pleasant interactions with their team - John, Debbie. Today, I noticed a discrepancy in my accounts (being charged $$ when no water deliveries had been made) and called their office and spoke with Liz. She was EXTREMELY rude and would not even let me finish my sentences. When I asked to speak with the manager (twice), she said he will take a message and is busy with his work. Is this how customers are treated? Forget customers, I would not treat absolute strangers in that manner. If the office staff is reading this, kindly call me to complete our transactions. We inherited an older Culligan unit when we bought our new home, but were disappointed by the water quality. Countless spots on shower doors and glassware, not to mention the ‘crystal garden’ growing in the bottom of our electric kettle, meant it was time for a check-up.Rob Middleton tested water from all our taps, and very thoroughly described how the system should work, along with options. It was very educational, and low pressure. I would highly recommend inviting Rob over if you have concerns about the quality or hardness of water in your own home.We opted to replace the 15+ year old unit, along with a reverse osmosis filtration system for the kitchen and ice maker. It was available to install within a couple of days, and our installer, Frank, did an amazing job. He’s a perfectionist, and that shows in the quality of his finished product.The results of our new system were immediate, and we now enjoy soft water without spotted glasses and no more ‘chunky’ water from our kettle. We started noticing some issues with our Culligan water softener of 17 years and decided to see our options for a more energy efficient system. Rob Middleton came out described Culligans newer options and went over water and salt usage with these newer options. I chose a HE water softener and was scheduled to have it installed in a week. I was pleasantly surprised when Rob called me and said they had a reschedule for the next day and could install if I was available...I said yes. Frank came and removed the old and installed the new. He made sure I knew how to use the new system and left my house as clean as it was when he came!
I had the high efficient water softener with the Blue Blue sediment filter installed in my home around five months ago. I live in a rural area and use a well. We have a high natural concentration of iron in our water. With the new Culligan system, the quality of our water is much better than it was before. Im also very impressed with the service. In particular, Scott has done a great job. He made a good recommendation, provided a good install, came out for service at my wifes request, and - most recently - Scott helped get my system up and running again with new filters after I had to replace my well water pump and tank. Thank you. I couldnt be happier with Culligan.
I live in Maineville, Ohio. The hard water in the area is really bad, so I decidedto check into a water softener. After several referrals from neighbors who have the Culligan Water System and said they were very please with it, I made the appointment . Thomas was my salesperson and he spent a few hours testing my water and explaining how a water filtration system works . Thomas knows his product and made me feel very comfortable with the product. I have a small laundry room and was told that a water softener would not fit . Thomas did some measuring and was confident that it would fit. I was sold.On the day of install Dennis was there right on time. He took the time to look at the space as to what would be the best way to install this system without hindering the use of my water heater and furnace. I could not be more please with the install and I have clean drinking and cooking water now. Also I have noticed that my shower doors and sinks dont have the hardwater stains anymore.If you are reading this you probably are in the market for a water softener.Call Culligan and ask for Thomas.

I really like the water treatment system we had install. So glad we made the choice to have this done. I noticed the difference in the water instantly, just by washing my hands for the first time. Rob the sales rep was very professional. And the installers were very pleasant to work with. They even did extra things that we were not expecting them to do. I have nothing but good to say about this company and would highly recommend them.

Culliigan products and services have improved quality of life issues not just for our home but our health. The filtering system for our drinking water and the softener for the house are excellent. Water taste great and the water softener eliminates hard water spots. Protects appliances from hard water build up. In short our home and we are healthier and happier!

Excellent product and excellent service, from the initial sales presentation through installation and the follow-up appointment to confirm water softness and purity levels. Everyone was friendly, professional, courteous and competent. On the follow-up visit, Rob notice excessive condensation on the pipes in our basement, which it turned out, was a blown pressure valve. He then helped me move furniture and boxes in the basement to identify the problem and allow for the plumber to get in and fix it. Our problem could have been much more severe had Rob not noticed it and been so helpful.Would definitely recommend Culligan from a product and service standpoint.
I had a system installed by a very well rated competitor of Culligan with many glowing reviews on the web several years ago which was surprising. The result was a less-than-professional installation of a water softener that broke down after 3 years and followups with completely incompetent contractors. They couldnt even replace the carbon filter they installed! They must be gaming their image on the Internet.My install with Culligan is over-the-top fantastic. It is not only professional but commercial grade quality and the system is night-and-day better and more advanced than that competitors install. I should add that yes, Culligan was more expensive but I was prepared to pay for quality and I got it! Just as an fyi Im sure they have many highly qualified professionals but I worked with Rob Middleton and Frank for my consultation and install.
I am super happy with Culligan from the service rep to the delivery each month... I’m always taken care of . I have recommended culligan to people and will continue to do so!

Service is MARGINAL at best and has been that way for the past 5-10 years. VERY FRUSTRATING.BACKGROUND: Weve used Culligan for almost 25 years. Service used to be great...on time, as scheduled and no hassles. Clockwork.SERVICE: This office can NOT consistently deliver salt or service their water purification systems. Its SAD. I cant tell you how many times weve called to remind them that its been MONTHS since their last salt delivery OR that our water purification filter needs to be changed. And when they do come out for a salt delivery they often FAIL to read the delivery notes on our work order to access their equipment by way of our storm cellar entrance. We regularly find salt stacked on our front door stoop or outside our side door.INCONVENIENT: Culligan migrated to automated delivery reminder calls that force you (the customer) to LISTEN then hang up, STOP what youre doing - NOT an option if youre driving or working - LOCATE the number of your local branch, CALL then WAIT to speak to the correct person IF youre out-of-town OR need to reschedule the delivery.DECEMBER 2018: It has now been 3 weeks since Culligan stacked our salt delivery outside the side door rather than deliver it using our storm cellar entrance, week 2 they failed to show after we rescheduled, then week 3 the driver claimed he could NOT find our side entrance which off the driveway ~20 feet to the left of our front door despite an All Deliveries SIGN with an ARROW pointing to the side door! Week 4 they finally managed to pick up the salt. RIDICULOUS.MARCH 2019: Yesterday our delivery went as planned - Woo Hoo - or so we thought until our dogs ran off last night and we discovered Culligan left the side gate to our back yard open. Oh joy. (not)SIDE NOTE: The ladies that answer the phone are VERY pleasant, they try to help, they schedule the work and can only apologize when it doesnt get done.

Money makes a difference. Twice now in the last two years I have been charged $9.44 for service fees and taxes. I ask exactly how much the salt will cost and for some reason they don’t calculate correctly leaving me with a balance. This time it was 50 cents. Watch your bills!
Ever since Culligan took over my account from Nestle Ive had billing issues every single month. They can never find my payments, they add on late charges but my checks are always cashed out before the my payments are actually due which means they did in fact receive payment and on time. They have actually lost a check. So I stopped payment reissued another and they cashed both. I advised them what I was going to do verbally and via email. They found the check tried to cash it then stuck me with a returned check fee. They say they are gonna remove the charges but dont until I call back over again. Ill ask to skip a delivery but they still bring the water any ways. I recently spoke to Kerry an account manager about my concerns and she didnt even seem to care. When I advised her that I wanted to cancel services she seemed just as happy to let me go as a customer as I was about leaving. She didnt even try to make it right or keep me as a customer. Ive had water delivery with Nestle for several years and ever since Culligan took over my account its been nothing but problems. No one there has a clue as to whats going on. If I could give zero stars I definitely would and would never recommend this company at all for your water needs.
