The ice cream here is really good and can leave with a clear conscience knowing that its all natural and homemade. My husband and I have made this a weekly spot for our ice cream especially since our regular place closes for the winter. The reason for only 4 stars is because every time I walk in, it smells of a really musty/moldy smell and I have no idea why. Also, they are closed on Mondays. Which a lot of businesses are especially nowadays but that is my prime day for going out for lunch and shopping with my friend so we dont get to enjoy this together. Lastly, I try to carry conversation with the owner and make some jokes and ask questions when I go in and she never seems to really want to talk or laugh with me and last time, she didnt even respond when I talked. Which to each their own, but Id think the owner would want to keep people coming back and not be standoffish. We will keep coming back, but this is why I wont give 5 stars.

Stopped with wife for some ice cream. She had scoop of Strawberry and one of Honey Lavender, I had Butter Pecan and Honey Lavender. Very refreshing, icy texture, and generous scoop size. The Honey Lavender is exceptional.

We stopped in after dinner in downtown. Its a nice little ice cream shop with really good flavors.

First time visiting and I was impressed. I tried both vegan flavors and they were really good. Staff was nice. A little pricey, but you can tell the ice cream is very fresh, worth the price.

Delicious fresh made ice cream. Wonderful flavors. A little pricey ($3.50 per scoop!) I think, but you can feel how fresh the ice cream is -- the flavors really come through. Highly recommend the salted caramel, vegan chocolate, vegan matcha, and lavender honey. The waffle bowls are crunchy and delish as well!

I tried the salted caramel chocolate cone bowl and both were amazing I have tried salted caramel before and that was real salted caramel! I mean the flavor was amazing and you could taste both the sea salt and the carmel! And the waffle bowl was light and fluffy and really good as well I highly recommend MAIN STREET SCOOPS if you want amazing ice cream with amazing prices!

Very clean environment! Amazing ice cream. Tried Lavender & Honey. 5 star rating. It was delicious. Can’t wait for my next scoop! However, I do agree with other reviewer Kathy G., it would be awesome to watch the employees be more engaging with their guests. This effort will most likely triple their business really quick as that’s the one thing stopping me from returning more regularly!

I really like their ice cream. The lavender hunny flavor is both unique and delicious. The people there are friendly, and sometimes they have little helpers that brighten my day. Today one of them helped me make a paper snowflake to hang in the window. Today was only my second time going, but I think Ill be visiting this charming shop more frequently.

So excited to have another great unique ice cream place in town! Variety of delicious flavors and good prices. Would recommend the lavender and honey! Only thing is the waffle cones are super fragile and fall apart/crack in your hands causing things to get super messy. Overall, great place, super friendly workers, and I will definitely be coming back!!

Great ice cream and friendly employees. Selection could be a bit larger, but theyre new and likely still figuring out the customer base.

I like the three vegan options: coconut, matcha, and chocolate. I believe they use the coconut as the base for the other two, as all three have a strong coconut flavor included. My favorite is the matcha, my spouses is the vegan chocolate (and that one seems less overpowered by the coconut; if you want a more powerful green tea flavor, then the matcha may be too subtle for you). Wish they would expand on the vegan options, but its still a lot better than whats offered at the other restaurants -- I usually come here for dessert after dinner downtown rather than ordering dessert at the restaurants. A regular part of my trips downtown, especially during the farmers market, and somewhere I take my out-of-town guests.

I normally love to support local places but I am sad to say I disliked this place enough to write a negative review. The ice cream was very pricey for what you get but ultimately that might be for the best as the scoop I got was very grainy and had a very poor flavor, almost like an ice milk more than an ice cream. Perhaps some people prefer this but if you are a fan of a more classic creamy texture I dont think you will enjoy this ice cream and can do much better at many locations in town. Also I second all the reviewers who say that the woman working the counter is quite unwelcoming. I tried to engage her in a very basic conversation about the ice creams available and couldnt get more than a one word answer to any question. Although we were the only people in the shop she seemed extremely disinterested in our business and that alone would have made us reluctant to return even if the ice creams were amazing. It is a shame the experience was so poor as I really was hoping for a great place downtown. Its a cute space but I just cant imagine it lasting long without significant improvement.

First off, the ice cream was fantastic and the local ingredients and toppings were a huge plus. However, the unfriendly nature of the woman at the counter and the unwelcoming, empty atmosphere make me unsure about returning.
