A local favorite for many.They still offer delivery of milk and other products in the same recyclable glass bottles. Their product line has greatly deepened, now including lemonade, iced tea, even eggs and bacon.But the Big treat is their own ice cream! Every one of their flavors can be hand packed quarts, cones or dishes and either eat in, or drive through.

The sugar in the ice cream is spot on, not less and not more. We had traditional strawberry ice cream with waffle cone and lava cake. Both tastes good. I would definitely recommend this place to at-least try once.The dine-in place is very neat.

Great service, friendly staff, usually delicious ice cream. But, beware: the new cotton candy flavor is extremely over the top and intense. LOTS of sugar. Had to throw away 2 scoops worth after only a few bites. I regret not asking for a sample first, oh well.

I have not eaten anything but dessert from here.There dessert is so good you dont need anything else! I really like this peanut butter in a chocolate dipped waffle bowl and their milkshakes are amazingly good. My daughter likes to get their cone with sprinkles and my wife likes their sundaes and cones. Definitely you should give it a try or better yet dont, I want longer lines and should keep it a secret!

Good burgers, great dairy and excellent service. Just recently I went through the drive thru and it took a little longer than usual. I believe the car in front of me received my order. When they brought out my order they included a pint of ice cream for the wait. This was completely unprompted and very sweet of them.

4-17-2021: There ice creams are the best ice creams I ever tasted in my life. I did buy a single scoop of Mint ice cream. After tasting that it’s so good that I couldn’t resist my self from buying a Quarter of the same from their refrigerator.

Had a cookie dough flurry and it was amazing! I would highly recommend for a quick ice cream treat!

Their milkshakes are gigantic. And the Razzalkcious flavored ice cream was top shelf stuff.

I love Oberweis, but I didnt receive what I had ordered and am not normally in the area.

Well only way to describe this was a huge disappointment.Just passing through and wanted some ice cream.$10 later I had the most bland waffle cone Ive ever tasted with a very unenthusiastic tasting mint ice cream.Save money and just go grab ice cream from Walmart

The large vanilla shake is something like $9 which is crazy, but I cant stop drinking them. They stopped offering pirouettes in there for some reason, bring those back! I want to try an ice cream cake next, but idk if they make them at this location.

Thick rich and creamy! This ain’t no soft serve. It’s high in fat and sugar and goodness!!! Can’t wait to come back. Customer service was great. They offered us samples and engaged in conversation. Total goodness!

All of the ice cream is very sweet, they dont really have anything I like. Its too sweet for my taste. The coffee cake looked disappointing, but was actually pretty decent for a frozen pastry.

Always very friendly and helpful service. The only downside is that their website stock doesnt always accurately show what they actually have in stock. Youll need to just go in and look, or call ahead first.

Best ice cream ever! When I am in town I always make it a stop. I take a cooler and stock up!

It could have been better. I had the fudge brownie sundae and my brownie was warm and as hard as a rock which means the brownie was old and just warmed in the microwave. We also got a turtle sundae which had hardly any Carmel in it. The ice cream was good but for the price we feel like we could have gotten a lot better. Let just say Culver’s has not been this disappointing.If you are going to be a high quality ice cream shop make sure the service and product is high quality.I’ve heard Oberweis is good and I don’t doubt it, but they need to make sure the quality is holding up to the price.

Really nice environment. The staff is so smiley and happy. Food is really good. I gave it 4 stars only because it’s kinda expensive. The portions are good though. Nice exterior and friendly environment. Overall, great experience & I will go back!

The employees were helpful for my first visit and were very considerate. I went at a time when I was the only customer and an employee kindly brought me my lunch instead of me needing to pick it up. The manager also casually asked if everything was satisfactory shortly following. After I finished and was reading online articles, the employee that had delivered my food asked if I would care for a to go bag/box. I was very impressed with the staffs manners and genuine kindness.***The food was delicious and the UNLIMITED MILK (INCLUDING CHOCOLATE) is a reason enough to give this place a shot! This is Oberweis first joint venture with a restaurant!

Absolutely fantastic experience. Wonderful product, taste hasnt changed since I was a child. Yes you can buy cheaper milk, cheaper ice cream but the quality is worth the money. The manager Jason came over to check on us and make sure we didnt need anything which is a true sign of.a quality resturaunt... Really impressed. Will come back.

Its good, but seems super expensive to me. I still go here and enjoy it, but feel guilty for spending so much. What keeps me coming back is their tables with chess boards built in. My daughters like challenging me to a game of chess on date nights. Also just discovered that their jukebox is on free play, so we got to listen to owl city while playing. But the ice cream is good and the place is clean and has good service.

Food was perfect, service was even better. Cashier was super friendly and efficient! My friends had a lot of fun playing chess at the table and the restaurant was clean, well lit, and just a great environment in general that really captured the diner aesthetic. First time going to an Oberweis and will definitely be looking them when traveling in the future!

Delicious!The ice cream is GREAT! The chocolate cake- WOW! Super rich & super moist. A real treat for any chocolate lover! I deducted one star as the staff was very serious. Very few smiles. Not rude but definitely not engaging. Oberweis is a nice treat for the family.

The Oberweis half is amazing. Everything they have is beyond fantastic. The place is clean, the service is prompt and the desserts are superb.That Burger Joint is a bit overpriced. However the food, the staff, the building are all pretty great.

This is our new absolute favorite burger and ice cream stop! Juicy, flavorful burgers and the best chocolate milk ever on tap. We enjoy getting competitive on the checker tables while gorging on dessert.

The milk is incredibly high quality. In addition to that the staff is super friendly and helpful.

The strawberry shortcake shake is amazing. The cake pieces are perfectly blended and the chocolate wafer cookie on top is delightful.

Pricey but you do get a good product for your money and quality does count.

Their ice cream is so creamy!!! Their whip cream is like heaven. I always get a chocolate malt here and sometimes get milk or one cream quarts to go. Always classically good ice cream here.

Stopped in for four shakes tonight for the family. The shakes were good, we purchased 2 chocolate, a vanilla, and caramel shakes. I liked the added waffle crisp straw shaped addition. Theyre a bit rich, but that was to be expected. We were wallet-shocked when the total was $26 for four size regular shakes. Pricing seems significantly higher than your comparable shakes. With that said, I would prefer a similar shake from another shake joint for half the price.

The 2 scoops of ice cream in a bowl varies greatly between vists. One visit you have 2 big scoops and another you get far less, like 2 half scoops put together. Ice cream is great though. Would be nice if it was as consistant as the size of the burgers.

Love this place. We often drive up to Bloomington just for ice cream and find other stuff to do while there. Service is always top notch.

This store is connected to that burger joint. It is a perfect combination. Everytime I go in I try one of oberweis new flavors icecream. They are so rice and creamy. A normal size will feed 2 people easy and the cookie stick is a nice touch.
