They were super friendly when making the appointment and just a friendly when I came into the appointment. Down to earth staff and the Doctor was professional but also down to earth. I love the deals they have for making a purchase. Even better I was in and out In a timely manner. I highly recommend Dr Tavel.

All the staff was very friendly and competent at what they were doing, Dr Jones was very thorough with my examination and explained everything he was doing, I didn’t feel rushed and was very happy with the results he gave me. They even scheduled my appointment at another eye center for additional things I needed to get done, which saved me a lot of time…will definitely recommend..

Generally a good experience. It was my first pair of contacts. When I went to pick them up, I wasn’t given a case for the contacts, leaning solution, or any instruction, but I think the assistant was new and just didn’t realize I wouldn’t have these items. When I returned, the eye doc was very helpful and answered all my questions. I didn’t have to wait long at either visit. I recommend Dr Tavel for quality of exam and eye care.... thanks guys!

The front office staff are friendly and professional. A bit of a wait for the exam, but nothing out of the ordinary compared to other medical/specialist appointments. Theyll text you when your glasses order arrived, and offer free adjustments after you received them.

Was very disappointed in the Perfessionliizm of the office personnel of this establishment was very rudely spoken to and ask to leave for not wearing a mask, but what they failed to realize is with my health problems I cant, copd/asma/Emphysema......I will never suggest dr tavel for anyone mostly just for the rudeness of the staff.

The ladies who worked on the show floor were extremely kind and helpful (and patient, since they had to put up with my brother and I lol). Staff was laid back, humorous, and easy to communicate with. Was fast paced and was in and out within an hour! I highly recommend Dr. Tavel!

In the past Ive been very pleased by the Dr. Tavel near my house. Since 2020 though I feel the quality of service has decreased. First my prescription for 2020 wa way off and it took over a month to get back in and get the correct lens. Most recently in 2021, their website laid out all of the safety protocols they were supposed to use, however, there were several people waiting for appointments and the doctor kept letting his mask slip down, even telling me at one point I could lower mine to make using the equipment easier when it started to fog up. The fogging up isnt Tavels problem, thats the still poorly designed masks the world is making even a year plus into this pandemic.

Each time I arrive at Dr. Tavel Premium Optical i am pleasantly greeted and professionally directed to an appropriate area for service. You can tell they care about the safety of their customers. They are consistant in their good service and always offer smiles, compliments and follow up.

I had an emergency need for contact lenses and I was able to be seen within 2 hours and supplied with a trial pair until mine arrived. Love Dr. Tavels office in B-Town! Everytime I have to order contacts they are so nice over the phone and patient (because I am a hot mess). I am going out of town and running out of contacts and they are letting me pick up some trails so I dont have to wear my glasses for a few days! Best optometrist Ive ever had, and Ive been going for over 20 years in 3 different states!

The staff was extremely courteous and I was in and out in no time. I do wish that there was a bigger selection of glasses for my insurance, but the pricing was reasonable.

Went in last year for eye infection. Came back with a full bill despite I checked with my insurance company and the store that it was an in-network provider beforehand. Later called Dr. Tavel to ask for more information on this full bill and why it was charged in full. The customer service on the other side of the line simply answered apathetically I dont know. Horrible customer service! Never go back again!

Terrible customer service. The coating on my lenses was compromised within 6 months of ordering and since I was never offered a warranty, the only solution would be order a whole new pair or set of lenses. The only explanation the staff could come up with was it being the fault of the original optician who sold me the glasses who NEVER offered me the warranty. So because of the inexperienced optician, I now have to pay for new lenses. Will never come here again.

The customer service over the phone while calling needs to be professional, and not come off rude while asking questions. I work for a corporate contact center and didnt feel like the customer service that was provided was giving a good look for the office. I am very disappointed because my children enjoyed there eye exam visit and did better than they have in the past. I could hear people in the background joking around, and laughing but I didnt think that was very appropriate.
