I was so happy with my experience at Bloomington Family Eye Care! The staff could not have been nicer or more pleasant to work with, my three boys had appointments that went smoothly and we didn’t have to sit and wait for hours like at other eye places. I highly recommend this professional place!

I needed to get new contacts and the large places in town (Vision Point, Gailey) couldnt get me in for over a month. Bloomington Family Eyecare had available appointments within the week. Showed up 15 minutes early to my appointment and they got me right in. In and out in less than a half hour, and the doctor was very professional and knowledgeable. Safe, clean, everyone masked. Had a great experience, will definitely use them moving forward.

I have been wearing glasses/ contacts for 17 years so I have had many eye dr apts and this was one of the best experiences I have had. I was a new patient and literally waited 0 minutes- was in and out within 35 min even with trying on multiple frames for my new glasses. Staff and Dr. were all super friendly. I will definitely use them going forward!

Dr. Backus and his staff are 100% focused on making sure you and your family have the best experience possible. Amid a minor emergency they were clear in their communication and had a plan to help me with recovery within minutes of seeing me. If youre looking for an eye doctor in town that wont waste your time, this is the place for you!

This place is very friendly. You will be in and out within 30 minutes. The staff is very helpful and know exactly what they are doing. Great place for eyecare!

I was looking for my next pair of glasses and the staff helped give me some ideas. When I was 100% sure I was happy with what I narrowed my choice to, she said she could order some similar frames for me to try on. The extra 4 pairs came in within the week and I loved one of them. It was nice knowing they didnt try to sell me on some that were just ok. I see Dr. Backus, and my kids use them, too.

The workers here do not do a good job. They use very old equipment and if they cant figure out how to do the different exam tests they will just try and skip it. I had to tell them, no, I want the test to keep them from skipping it. They wouldnt even adjust the machines to my height so I had to scrunch down all uncomfortable like. Then when I finally get to the doctor he proceeds to tell me I have bad eyes. Not a good experience at all.

Have been going to Dr. Backus for years and really enjoy the place and the staff. They are always on time, courteous and professional.

Dr. Backus and his staff are very nice, and Ive been very pleased with my vision since I started going. I had gone to Eyecare Associates previously and they could never get my prescription right.

Not impressed at all, terrible customer service and I drove all the way across town to pick up glasses and they closed their door and locked it 8 minutes before 5 and I was parked right in front of their door so they knew I was right there, we will not be back!
