Weve been buying their sugar cookies since the early 1970s-while we were students on campus and every time we came back to visit family. We even placed mail orders over the years when we lived in NJ. We were here as recently as 3 years ago and purchased them and they were the same as ever. Ive been trying recipes for years in an attempt to make them at home. Now that treat is gone forever. I just found out on our latest visit that theyve changed the recipe to accommodate peoples dietary needs. One less reason to come back.

I had a custom cake with whipped icing and logos. The people there took care of me and answered every question I asked, gave me a full explanation of everything! I must say the cake was very good. Not too sweet, decorations looked good. I will purchase from here again.

Alumna that is very disappointed with recipe redesign. WHY CHANGE AGE OLD RECIPES THAT KEEP ALUMNI COMING BACK FOR DECADES? I understand helping with dietary needs, but create another version of treats, don’t eliminate great food in the process.

My family has been going here for over a decade and I went in today and they changed the gingerbread cookies recipe for “more local ingredients.” I am all for supporting local but it should not change the taste of a cookie.These look burnt sitting in the store, are way more hard, and do not have the perfect spice taste that I’ve known since I went to school here.

I have had my 25th birthday cake, my graduation party cake, and my pledge daughters cake made here and I absolutely love this place. The only thing I can say is that it’s a little dryer than I usually like my cakes so that’s the only reason why it gets 4stars but this is ABSOLUTELY BY FAR my favorite cake place in Indiana.

1 star because the stupid red velvet cupcake they sold me lacked my beloved cream cheese icing that one would expect with red velvet!! Very disappointed. :(

I went to pick up the cake that I had ordered, and the shop was closed despite it being during posted open hours. They had failed to make the cake that I had ordered. Catering staff said that they had not received confirmation that I wanted the cake to actually be made, though time stamped emails show that I had fully confirmed the order with a student supervisor. Follow up emails asking for an explanation of the situation have been ignored for two weeks. Beware correspondence with student supervisors, I suppose.

I checked website for hours today. It stated bakery was open until 5:30. I loaded up all the kids, Drove there, walked to bakery from parking area, arrived by 4 & the door was already locked. The person cleaning up just shrugged his shoulders at me as if to say...oh, well. Unacceptable. The cookies are phenomenal but not worth the trip if they don’t keep published hours. Very disappointing for my 5 grandkids!
