Staff were incredibly nice and helpful. Only one person knew which of the flavors were house made and which ones were purchased. The seasonal waffle was very nice and just the right amount of sweet. It was a little undercooked in some parts and still gummy though.

This place is chill to hangout or studying with friends. It’s cozy and there’s plenty is space inside and it’s clean too. I came here and ordered a macchiato and the server suggested me something else. I like ice drinks that isn’t too bitter so he suggested caramel macchiato and it was beyond refreshing! It tasted like Vietnamese coffee. I could see little pieces of grounded coffee on the bottom of my glass, which means it’s made fresh to served. I love the kindness of the servers there

Very friendly and community-focused group of folks. Coffee is excellent.The large room dedicated to seating and space for spreading out is a great place to play a game, study or visit.We bring kids in tow and the staff are kind enough to say hello to them.

Ive been going to Mugshots for a few years now ant it is my favorite local coffee shop. The staff is always friendly and willing to give suggestions. The food is also amazing! Try the apple cheddar turkey sandwich!

Recently moved out here to Minnesota, specifically for this coffee!!! Lol jk but I was lucky enough to find these guys on my way to work, if you’re a coffee person, this is the place to stop at! Lucas was awesome and helpful I was in and out quick and got to work on time, Great way to start a Friday!

My boyfriend and I got lost and found this place. It was a blonde girl long maybe middle length hair and the other girl had curly hair.. omg they made the BEST frappe Ive ever had. Weve went back 2x but they were not there and my frappe have not taste the same since.. Im convinced it was made with love..

The coffee here (Kickapoo) is really good. I was disappointed that they did not have discounted refills on their plain coffee as most coffee shops I visit do...even just a dollar off their regular price would have been nice since I had already bought a large coffee and couldve reused the cup as I was doing some computer work at their location.Their food is ok. The breakfast sandwich with bacon was good with the right amount if bacon/egg/cheese/bread ratio (Not a lot of bacon, which Im ok with. My husband wanted more.). I was also there for lunch and had a Reuben served with a salad. It was a sad little sandwich....not much for meat, and it was only toasted on one side.In sum, this is a good place to grab a quick coffee to-go. To stay for awhile and work, though, expect to have to pay full price for black coffee refills once youve already paid for one. The breakfast sandwich is good and they offer free WiFi. The Reuben sandwich isnt worth it.

I love this place! They are so welcoming and are so nice! I have never felt so welcomed into a coffee shop. It was such a nice experience and feel so at home. Not to mention that make the drinks perfectly and will answer any questions that I had.

Mugshots is one of my favorites. Used to live a block away but recently moved to uptown, my girlfriend and I still drive out there. Great coffee and even greater staff

This place is awesome with good seating and friendly staff, however the bathrooms are never clean or have toilet paper stocked per health code. Theyre just loose in the bathroom. The wifi is also extremely hit or miss. Even loading a quiz takes minutes per question. Might be time for a wifi upgrade at the least.

This is my favorite place EVER. Their lattes are my favorite, and they have such a cozy atmosphere. Their customer service is great. When they made my café au lait with 2% instead of soy (I cannot have dairy), the manager responded almost right away. I was extremely impressed with him. I definitely recommend this hidden gem!

Great local coffee shop in Bloomington. Theres quite a bit of seating inside, a fireplace, and free WiFi. This is a great study spot and they also have a meeting room you can rent out. My cappuccino tasted and looked fantastic with lovely art in the froth. I had the chicken Chipotle and salami sandwich meal that came with soup, salad or chips, and the half sandwich for $7. Great prices although I forgot about their 15% discount for students so Ill definitely have to go back for that!

This place seemed like a hidden gem at first glance but then tragedy struck. I ordered a chia latte with almond milk because I am lactose intolerant. My fiancé ordered a coffee with caramel. I realized after the first sip of mine that they used milk but I wasn’t for sure. Unfortunately soon after our drinks while on a walk I almost pooped my pants. The Wicked instant stomach cramps that I know are from dairy products:( hopefully in the future the staff can be more observant.Update : due to great customer service I am upgrading my 2 stars to 4 stars. Tried to go Sunday afternoon but it was full of people without masks and no social distancing. Sadly we chose to go elsewhere. We have enjoyed going to this place previously. So disappointing they don’t appear to be taking COVID-19 seriously.

Lovely coffee (Intelligentsia beans, I believe). Sandwiches are a good price for what you get. Note that the grilled cheese has garlic on it.

Good coffee. I had the iced latte. The staff was so patient with me and kind. Friendly people. Great atmosphere inside. However, the reason I chose this spot (other than the location and the fact it’s open right now) is that it advertises outdoor seating. But it’s just a small table and two chairs right in the sun. Not ideal.

Nice spacious coffee/tea shop. There are comfy chairs and plenty of tables for workspace. There is a separate room for large parties and gatherings (see photo). Good place to study or hang out. Friendly staff.

I was not impressed with the service or space. Also, my tea spilled on me and gave me 2nd degree burns, I didnt bother talking to the barista as they didnt seem interested in anything but chatting with each other.

Asked for a blended coffee with soy milk and was told their blended coffees HAVE to use the whole milk base. This is why I prefer Starbucks and other big franchises for my coffee...because theyre easily customizable to fit my dietary needs. Ended up ordering a latte from here and it tasted like those cold coffees you can get from gas stations, nothing too special, but it also wasnt horrible. Would love to support local coffee shops, if only they could learn to support me.

I love Mugshots coffee! I visit once a week and have always had a great experience. The atmosphere is comfortable, and there is plenty of space and seating. The staff are always friendly and they make excellent drinks and food. My favorites are the chai tea latte and a latte with their homemade caramel flavor. The giant cookies and breakfast sandwiches are delightful too. I recommend checking it out if you love quality coffee and supporting local business!

Over the years the quality and taste of the coffee has increased. And they use organic milk. They have an incredibly good sandwich with apples in it and I really enjoy the lavender latte. This is my go-to place to study and do homework

Mugshots has great coffee and food. There is usually plenty of room to meet a friend, have a business meeting, or get some work/studying done. And staff has always been friendly.They didn’t receive 5 stars because the business room often feels chilly in the winter months and the fireplace is rarely on (maybe you need to ask). Also I’ve noticed a general inattentiveness in maintaining basic things in the men’s bathroom. All-in-all though, a nice place to grab coffee and a bite to eat.

I go to mugshots almost every day. They have wonderful coffee and all the employees have great attitudes and greet you with a smile. It is a very nice modern coffee shop with plenty of room and a comfortable atmosphere. Its larger on the inside than it looks from the outside great food and coffee. They even have reasonably priced breakfast and lunch specials. If you are bored with Starbucks and Caribou give them a shot.

I order coffee nearly every Tuesday. This place is basically just a bowl of soup away from taking all my money.

EXTREMELY SLOW service. The slowest coffee place Ive ever been to. If you lounge, cool. But if you need to get in and get out quick, skip it.Plus, when you look around theres a bunch of church-y stuff. 2 stars because the coffee is good.

Amazing place to get a delicious cup of coffee. My favorite part about this shop is that is it spacious and has so many tables to sit on. The service is quite fast normally although last time that I went it took about 10 minutes to deliver a machiato which is why I am rating it 4 starts instead of five. If you want to have a business meeting or simply work in a cozy environment this is the place to go. I have had two business meetings here already and I have been very happy going there. Very much recommended.

Probably my favorite new coffee shop/tea house. Good tea, good atmosphere good food. Friendly staff. Also hosts events throughout the week. Plenty of outlets if you wanna charge your electronics or keep your electronics plugged in. Also has books and games a available to play with all the pieces intact. I went here for the first time on Monday and had excellent service! The staff were very friendly and quick to give suggestions. The establishment was very clean, well-kept. Loved the quality of my beverage and sandwich! Will definitely be making this a spot I frequently visit.

I had a cappuccino and gluten free scone and they were both amazing! Service, ambiance was great as well. Better than other coffee chains.

I love the ambiance, the food was delicious, service was great, coffee was way above average. But after all the romaine food poisoning, you cant leave even little pieces of rotten greens in your spring mix. Overall though, nice place.

I don’t normally write reviews for either positive or negative experiences, so in writing this I am certain of my opinion and wish to share my thoughts. Mugshots is incredible. The staff here are very knowledgeable about their various coffee blends, the drinks are good, food is lovely, and the atmoshpere is perfect for both getting work done or stopping to socialize with friends. I have started driving 30min to get here at least twice a week I like it so much. I wish them the best!

I have been here twice to meet with clients and each time has been great. The person taking my order was friendly and treated me like they wanted me there. Ive had their hot chocolate and chai latte and both were excellent. The place is big with lots of tables and comfy chairs.

Good coffee (and scones). Plenty of room to read, play a game or just enjoy your drink.

Found this place out yesterday just trying to find a coffee shop. Instead of going to a big branded shop like Starbucks or Caribou, my wife found Mugshots on a search for coffee shop in Bloomington. The environment was awesome. People laughing, studying and just talking. There were a lot of tables and had outlets or extension cords close to them. There were also a conference room that you could use. If youre looking for a nice and relaxing place, come here. Love the place and would go back.
