Everything was well-organized from start to finish. The service was timely, too. I didn’t wait long. I’ve had some problems with other GM/Chevrolet dealerships recently, so this was a great experience. No one was pushing me to get more done.
Back in early July we had our Acadia in to have over $4000.00 worth the work done. On July 09 at the dealership we made an appointment for October 14 at 7:00 am to have the Booster - Hydraulic Brake replaced. Upon our arrival we informed the gentlemen who greeted us about an issue with the air conditioning and a problem with the sensor that alerts you that your tire pressure is low. Our right front tire had been low, but the information on the dashboard stated the right rear tire was low. The gentlemen stated that was probably an easy fix by doing a quick reset. He was not sure if they could attend to all three issues, but they will try and keep us informed. We stated that the Booster-Hydraulic Brake issue was priority, since that appointment had been made three months prior. At 11:15 am we still had heard nothing regarding our vehicle. We attempted to make numerous calls to the Service Department but the recording said to call back later each time. We called again and connected with the operator who also could not get a hold of anyone in the Service Department. She went ahead and left a message for someone to call us. No one ever did. We called again and spoke with the operator explaining our frustration and that we were on our way to pick up our vehicle regardless of its repair status. She told me she would let the Service Department know we were on our way. We arrived around 1:30 p.m. It took another 30 minutes just to get paperwork of recommendations and our vehicle. There were no repairs done since we were told none of the work is performed until the Service Technician sends you a text for your approval. We never received a text message. Thus, our vehicle was in the Service Department for 6 1/2 hours and the result is nothing is done. We have bought multiple vehicles from your dealership in the past but this incident has been a major turn off. Thus moving forward we will be going elsewhere to have our vehicle serviced.... since you couldnt get the job done!!
When I dropped my car off the service the service rep, was not a person you should have dealing with the public. The mechanic completed the work and messaged me saying that the car was ready. I came to pick the car up. A different service rep helped me as the original rep stood next to her silent. I asked if everything else looked ok on the front end, they didnt have a clue. I mean, at least lie to me to make me fell like spending the extra money getting work done at the dealership was worth it. Then it was time for the bill, they hadnt taken the 10% off the bill even though I presented the coupon when dropping the car off and it was with all the paperwork. I was always impressed with the service in the past but have definitely changed my thoughts on Walser. Good thing you have quality mechanics to pull you through. I was planning on purchasing a new SUV at Walser in the next 12 months but will definitely be researching other local dealerships. I am all for giving 5 star reviews but your service rep set the tone as soon as he engaged me. I would be looking for a better representative of my company.

Loved my experience at Walser! I’ve been bringing my terrain there for the past 5 years for service. This month I traded in for a newer version and they made the process easy to navigate and walked me through every step. Torey was personable and knowledgeable. He explained everything in detail and never treated me with anything but kindness even when I asked repeat questions. As a woman, I felt confident in buying my car with Torey! I’d highly recommend him and Walser!
More car was in for a brake job, both front and rear. I thought I would get my car back that day, but did not get it back till noon the next day.Otherwise, the service etc. was very good,
My vehicle was not brought in for service on 10/28, but yet I get a survey asking how you did. That tells me your systems are unreliable and my information is being used in ways that it should not... and this is not the first time it has happened so it it clearly not a priority to get your systems fixed. This is disappointing at best and disturbing that my information is accessible and being used in ways it should not. I wont be back.
Had a great experience purchasing a truck from Walser Buick GMC in Bloomington. Casandra Smith was super helpful, not pushy, and answered every question I had (even the tough ones). She even hand cleaned exterior parts of the vehicle that were missed by the detailers. Would recommend this dealership.
Received an oil filter/oil change and tire rotation. Was charged over $105.00. Have a receipt from you for same work about a year ago for about $67.00. Greatest increase is in LABOR and not materials. That is ridiculous. For this standard maintenance work, I would recommend someone else (TIRES PLUS).
I had issues with the transmission since I bought it new and was told that its normal for the car. I did some research on my own and found a TSB relating to the issues I was experiencing. I asked the dealership to look up that TSB and low and behold, I taught the dealership how to fix the problem.
I’m from Kansas City and recently purchased a 2018 Yukon XL from Walser. The service was impeccable. I bought this as a surprise gift for my wife’s 40th birthday.I informed them of the circumstances. They sent the paperwork discreetly and when it came time to pick up the Yukon XL, they met me at Minneapolis’ airport with the vehicle when I landed and allowed me to immediately drive it home.After the drive home I noticed a few significant issues with the Yukon XL. The A/C didn’t work, there was a noticeable vibration and a brake caliper needed replaced.Carter Stiel (my sales rep) informed his manager and they didn’t hesitate to cover all expenses related to fixing the issues. After submitting a receipt I received the check in hand for the repairs via mail a week later.The Yukon XL drives like a dream now and my wife couldn’t be happier. With such a low selection of these types of vehicles nationwide I completely lucked out that Walser was the dealership I bought this from.
We bought our new Enclave with Jeff Jensen. He did a wonderful job. As a women, car shopping is not fun, with majority of sales personnel bypassing me to talk to my husband. Jeff did not do that at all. Jeff was knowledgeable, and efficient with the process. He followed through on everything. And was friendly and personable. Making car buying a lot easier.

Not a good experience dealing with Reid Henderson. Came across arrogant and smug with his responses. I understand there is a shortage of new vehicles in the country and that supply is low and demand is high but eventually supply will be high again and people will remember those that took care of them respectfully during these times.I am sure Walser GMC itself would be great but would not recommend Reid.

The Service Desk knew that I (the spouse, Charles) was in the waiting area waiting for the completion of service, especially since I had spoken to the technician. Despite this knowledge, when the service was completed, a text message was sent to Elizabeth, the listed owner at her phone number, 30 minutes after the completion of the service. I was forced to go to the Service Desk to see if the vehicle was ready. Simultaneously, I received a message from my spouse indicating same.The Oil Life Remaining indicator at the Driver Information Center was not updated to 100%. I did this when I received the vehicle.

Seriously?! You send me a survey and you STILL HAVE MY VEHICLE AND NOONE HAS CALLED ME WITH AN UPDATE!! My appt was Monday at 8:45am, I dropped the vehicle off Sunday evening as I had a daycare issue. I called Monday morning, no answer so left a message. No call back so I called back Monday afternoon and spoke with someone to get an update which he didn’t have. Still no return call on Tuesday I called back and left a message no call back from you guys. I called again Wednesday and Thursday and still no callback from you guys. You’ve had my car since Monday and I have no idea what is going on. It was supposed to be a diagnostic appointment and you had it for five days. Your service is terrible if you will not call your customers back and let them know what is going on especially when I’ve left several messages. The same thing happened to me about two years ago at the same place. The only reason I’m coming back is because the warranty makes me come here. Otherwise I would never give you my business or ever refer you to anyone else

Work was completed in a quality fashion from what I can see. Had good ongoing communications with the Technician that worked on the vehicle. I appreciated the video at the start of the work process and the recommendations by the Technician on what work needed to be done and what work did not need to be done at this time.
Received an email offer from the Buick dealership we use to buy out our 39 month GM lease on our Buick 2020 Envision after 18 months if agreed to lease a new Buick 2021 Encore through GM. Took little time for the sales team member, Cassie, and loyalty manager Dan to find a vehicle that we fitted our needs and we were done. Two days from start to picking up new vehicle. Could not have been a smoother process thanks to the high professional standard of service by Cassie and Dan. Excellent transaction in all aspects.Love the new vehicle
Customer service has gone down hill. Liked getting the video from the service technician going over what they did. No video. Made appointment for oils change, brake pads and tire rotation. Tire rotation was not performed. Invoice states that multi-point inspection was done. No sheet with findings was included. When I picked up my vehicle, I had to pry information as to what was done. They would not tell me the type of brake pads used, just the price. Very disappointed with the last few visits to this dealership
Took a hour and a half to program a FOB for 2016 Acadia. Only needed FOB program they made a key and charged me $35 for key, told them I didn’t need a key only programmed FOB service response “ well now you have a extra key.

Ive never been treated so well and I didnt even get to meet anyone in person. I was very busy and a car down......still, they kept me Totally informed as to progress, options and where I stood. I was expecting a horror story and 2 gs on the bill. Negative.......they strategically solved and cured (and literally videoed) the tiny wire. $300, I am a DIY guy and honestly thought I knew what was wrong. I called him and told him what to do. He so politely told me I had no idea what I was talking about (he was right) and assured me he was ALL OVER this issue and went on about making my day. I recently purchased a new Sierra at Walser GMC in Bloomington - its a tremendous truck and Im extremely satisfied with it thus far. The reason for my visit to Bloomington Walser GMC/Buick was solely the result of speaking with my salesman, Rhett D. Hes helped me for a number of years purchase our last 5 vehicles, and this time was no different. He has always gone the extra mile to make my purchases hassle free (plus hes fun to talk to). I also worked with Garrett who was good too, but Rhett was 100% of the reason why I continue purchasing vehicles from Walser.
I provided instructions to the service writer (or check-in person) and none of it got relayed to the technician. This ended up costing me $200 extra in the bill. Very disappointing. They unnecessarily replaced all 4 valves stems (which were already new) and a TPS sensor which was provided in the car.

You did an excellent job of fixing the problem I brought the car in for. The only issue I had with the experience is that I had a hard time getting any information about the progress being made while the car was at your shop. Someone texted me early on and said they were my personal contact. By 2:30 PM I hadnt heard any report of progress so I texted that question to my guy. Never got any response. Then I called later with the same question wondering how my car was coming. The central operator tried to transfer me to the local dealer but said they werent answering so she would have them call me right back. Still no call back. At about 4:30 someone did call and tell me that my car was ready for pick up.So, all-in-all the work got done and Im totally satisfied with that but communications should have been better to get a 5.

It was incredibly high pressured sale. A month after buying the car I had a tensioner pulley thrown. It seems incredibly likely that this was caused by walser having previously done an engine rebuild, for the previous owner of the car, with how the part mangled itself.I asked that the idle and starting of the car be checked along with the repair. Every 6th time I start the car it barely starts and runs rough as all get out, trying to stall out. The car was given back with technician notes replaced parts idles fine now. Nope. Still has idle fluctuations, nothing was checked for starter.After a month of driving I am now noticing the rotors feel warped, as if a quick grind was done, but done unevenly.
My new truck experience started with Kevin Black - GM at Walser GMC. He helped me to make all of the decisions i needed to make in ordering my new 2021 Sierra. He made it easy. The communication directly with the technician working on the vehicle was very good! He provided a video of what he saw and when I called he explained what I was looking at. It was very helpful. I think there were two technicians that worked on the vehicle. It was the first one assigned to the work that I spoke with. I cant remember his name but he was very pleasant and took the time to explain the work that was needed.
Torey is so easy to work with. He knows the vehicles and what he is doing. He made the process very smooth. I like that Walser gives you your license plates the same day as the purchase now. I will keep buying all my vehicles from Walser.

Vehicle should have only taken an hour but took longer. Were told they were behind because they didnt have enough staff - If this was the case they should have updated us with the time frame. Supposedly the tech that works on your vehicle is the one that texts you but when we texted for the status - no one answered. Inquired about the status of the vehicle with a ?Service Advisor?, she said that shed come get us when the vehicle was complete - she did not, almost missed the text stating that service was complete. The bed rug does not stay on the tailgate.

I had purchased my Jeep through this dealership a year ago. Today tried taking off my doors and they were stuck - like very stuck. I called Jeep and they were gonna charge me $375 a door to remove them and then would need my Jeep 8 hours . I called this dealership to see what options I had. The guy that helped me on the phone said ‘bring it up - if your not too far I am here until 3.’ I got to the dealership and he was spectacular. If Walser doesn’t have a vehicle that has everything that you want in your next car, truck, or SUV.... They’ll find it! Walser has a very large inventory at all of their locations making it so easy to find your dream car! I took my wife to Walser to look at a rental return Yukon XL SLE but it didn’t have all of the options that we had been looking for and it wasn’t even the color we wanted but we were ready to make the sacrifice on color if it had everything else my wife really wanted. Well it didn’t have a lot of the options she wanted and feeling defeated after weeks of searching locally (We’re from Duluth) my wife was ready to just settle.. Then our Salesman Jeff stepped into action and with the assistance of my wife they were able tolocate another Yukon XL SLT with EVERY SINGLE option we wanted with 14,000 less miles and it’s even the color we wanted!! After a short drive to another Walser location we pulled into the lot and I immediately locked eyes in the Yukon XL and knew it was the truck we wanted! I am SO PLEASED to have found the Walser Team! The communication was awesome from the moment I dropped my car off to the moment I picked it up! They were thorough on the whole process of my car being checked/worked on. The technician working on my car even sent a video which I thought was very helpful considering I’m not the best with cars. They even shuttled me to and from work! Overall the best experience I’ve had at a dealership, I recommend them 10/10.

It took me 30 minutes on hold to get the service department on the phone. This was after several messages left and no returned call.Almost 2 hours late to deliver vehicle.Did not wash vehicle as I requested.Next due date mileage was incorrect (showed 131k & odometer at 134k?)I seriously doubt they even performed any services!Worst experience I’ve ever had with a service department.
I love my new 2021 Buick Encore GX but I might love Walser even more! Jacob Hedlund really listened to what I needed and wanted in a vehicle and listened to my situation with my recent loss and insurance claim. There was no pressure to buy and things were done on my time. When the time came Jake and I had a phone call at 8pm on Wednesday, I knew what vehicle I wanted, and he delivered it to me at 10 am on Friday. Walser to you is a great option especially with work schedules and children. I never set foot in the dealership. Walser Buick GMC in Bloomington has a life long customer.
Within minutes of making an inquiry a Customer Specialist, Jeff J, text me about the truck I wanted to look at. And within an hour he sent me a personalized video of himself and the truck. He answer the questions I had. I scheduled an appointment for the evening after Jeff would be gone. He put me in touch with his colleague Ardrian M. Another Great Customer Specialist! He gave me so much information about the truck I was about to test drive. I like the changes made regarding dealing with the auto tech directly. I also like the video sent showing points of the vehicle inspection. Reminds me of the local auto repair shop down the street.
Low pressure sales. Refreshing. Worked with Garret and would again. They close at 8 but we were there until almost 9 finalizing the purchase and everyone was great. Didn’t feel rushed at all. Feel like I got a honest fair deal.
