Ray Hess was an excellent salesman to work with. He kept me up to date for over 6 months regarding new vehicles coming onto the lot that may have been a good fit for me. When I decided to take the trip to Bloomington to look at a vehicle he found for me, Ray was extremely patient, kind, and understanding. He even stayed an hour after closing to make sure everything was finalized before I left. I absolutely love my new highlander hybrid.Ray had said that he used to work in financing and wasnt the stereotypical car salesman and that was very true. Chad Faulkner was my sales rep when I recently bought my new Toyota. He was great!! He actually listened to me when I explained what I was looking for, made recommendations, answered my questions, was very thorough explaining how everything worked and seemed genuinely glad to help me. I had been looking for a new car for some time, had visited many different dealers and looked at many different makes and models and to be frank, the main reason I didnt buy from them had nothing to do with the available vehicles. It was because the sales rep either: talked down to me, obviously were trying to hustle me, didnt have time to answer questions and in general didnt make me want to do business with the sales rep or a dealer who would hire someone using the kind of tactics I experienced. Chad was exceptional and definitely influenced my decision to purchase from this Toyota dealer. After I purchased my vehicle he even called me back to answer additional questions I had. I was lucky to have him as a salesperson and cant recommend him enough.

Once the details of the service were figured out everything went great! The service was fast and the communication was excellent. I needed a ride from home to the service center. The driver was very nice and a pleasure to talk with. We had an oil and filter change with a tire rotation and it was done in under an hour! Our car is just a year old and we are happy to know we can rely on good service locally.

I own LEXUS RX. I had my tire flat. So I dropped by Toyota Bloomington wondering they would handle a different brand even Lexus is same group of Toyota.Receptionist was Stacy Williams. I asked her also to check my tire and wheel insurance already covered. She was very kind and made me comfortable. I waited at cozy lounge and in an hour she came back saying your car is ready. Insurance company does not cover puncture fixture. Normal cost 21 dollars. But we will offer free of charge. When I decided to buy Lexus, I hesitatedto last minute because there is no dealer in Bloomington. Now I feel comfortable because there is Toyota Bloomington for my emmergency service.My second car would be Toyota.

But we decided to give them another shot in them selling us our new 2021 Toyota Camry. We were approached by Devin with in minutes of us riding onto the lot. I have been disappointed with my experience at your dealership. I thought maybe this would be a good experience and I could feel confident to use you with both of my Toyota cars.It started about a year ago when I wanted to buy a car but was visiting my son and family in Oregon. Even with a good down payment they would not sell me a car because it was going to be more than three days before I would be back to pick it up. It was a 2017 Prius 4. They said they could not certify it because mileage. It had less than the mileage Toyota says it can be certified. That would give me the opportunity to extend the warranty. Yesterday I brought my car in for a bad smell. Had the air conditioning system cleaned. I was given a call. They wanted to change the cabin filter because of the smell. I just changed the cabin filter with a carbon filter. Probably less than 300 miles ago. I told them. When I picked up the car they said they meant the engine filter. When I have my car serviced they check both engine and cabin filters. It has about 7500 since it was serviced with synthetic oil. I would love to give you a good report. But my confidence level is low. I called another dealer when I was looking for my Prius and bought it over the phone with no problem. It was certified and it has served me very. I wish you nothing but the best but this has been my experience. Jim

We came in late Friday afternoon just to look and maybe test drive and of course, we found exactly what we were looking for and decided to go ahead and purchase. Because of the time of day we visited, we had to come back on Saturday to finish up paperwork. Despite this fact, the entire process was still so quick and painless. We worked with Chad as our salesperson and he was fantastic. Both days, my wife and I visited with our two kids in tow -- an infant and a toddler. I was really impressed with how Chad interacted with our older son. Hes a very busy 3-year-old and was running around the showroom, making noise, and just having a great time, and Chad remained so patient and engaged with him. He got him a balloon and let him sit at his desk and they had a few conversations and high fives. He even brought the paperwork over to us in the corner by the kid zone room and let us take care of almost everything there. The way the entire staff reacted to and interacted with our kids really made the experience that much easier and less stressful!
Great service. Drove in from Mississippi and my check engine light came on as soon as I got into town. They got me in and fixed the car quickly. Very professional.
Jason (our sales guy) was a true professional. He made the experience phenomenal, from start to finish. From being greeted by his beautiful blue eyes as he introduced himself with a smile and a handshake (firm, not over or under powered, just the perfect shake) to how gracefully he handled when I started pressing in the negotiations. End of day: I give him a 10/10. We grabbed the ever elusive Highlander Platinum and couldnt be happier. I feel like the notorious BIG in that thing (before he died, of course). Cookies in the lobby? 9/10. To be fair I selected the chocolate one and it turned out to be chocolate mint. Still good, not perfect. I’m the future I’d probably opt for the raisin or chocolate chip.Beverage situation? 6/10. Who doesn’t have coffee? WHO? That’s said I fired down 3 Dr Peppers in the blink of an eye. Jason was eager to replace my beverage as it became more and more apparent I was shifting the can very vertical as I was lopping up the last 1/8 of the can.What else?…. Um the credit dude was awesome, black dude but his name escapes me. Either way he is officially my brother of another color 🤜🤛🏾. Finance guys can be pushy with the options and what not but he was quick and smooth, no pressure.Let’s see…. I thinks that’s it. Go buy a car from these clowns, they are legit and a pleasure to deal with.

Alex Parra from Service was fantastic! I am coming from a state without front license plates, so I needed to order a front plate bracket for my car. I was worried about installing the bracket myself, but Alex managed to squeeze me in when the bracket arrived so that they could install it and attach my plates. He was so patient and helpful - I will definitely be coming back here for future service needs. They’ve made a loyal customer out of me!
It was easy to get an appointment. I was going in for just the regular oil change and tire rotation, but they explained what was needed at 30,000 miles - what could wait and what was recommended. I felt in control of the decision -- that is appreciated.I opted to wait and their waiting area was very comfortable. Though, they also offered me a ride and pick up too.It was clean and everyone was helpful and polite.

Bought a used car here, was really disappointed that they wouldnt work with me a little on the price, but the car wasnt too unfairly priced to begin with. I didnt get the sense that I was being ripped off, the team was professional yet down to Earth.

We were in the market for a new Toyota Sienna which are hard to come by! Connor was great to work with - patient, not pushy, and kind. I was not thrilled on paying over MRSP as no other Toyota dealers in Illinois are over MSRP. Unfortunately getting your hands on a Sienna is difficult and we were not left with many options for dealers. With our trade in and extra rebates we were able to come out at MSRP and drive away with our dream vehicle in a quick and easy transaction. My 2013 Toyota 4Runner was dropped off at Sam Leman Toyota today by a tow truck because I had gotten a flat tire the evening before. I was expecting to learn that I would need to replace all four tires with new since the other three tires were purchased in 2019 and even tread wear across all four tires is desired. Instead, the gentleman at Sam Leman Toyota said he checked with his Technician who said they had a “takeoff” tire that was the same brand and same tread depth as the other three. What are the chances?!? They only charged me $25 for the tire and $25 for labor. Sam Leman Toyota has done right by me every time I take in my 4Runner. I’m truly grateful for their superior customer service!

I went to several places to look for a new vehicle and nothing caught my eye.I went to Sam Leman Toyota and I was like wow, I see my car and there were 3 different colors to choose from.I went inside and spoke to Ray Hess who was very knowledgeable about the car I was interested in + I wanted to use my 2008 Toyota Yaris as trade in. My car had been paid off for 5 years + I plan to retire within 3-5 years so I wanted a newer vehicle.I received a good deal and Ray was very helpful in making sure everything was right.He did not put any pressure on me.I did get my 2021 Toyota Corolla with 22 miles on it. I am so thankful for Ray who did a wonderful job.If you need a car, go to Sam Leman. I guarantee you will not be disappointed.
Picked up a new Corolla when my Tahoes breaks went out. Being my first purchase from a dealership, I was nervous but that nervousness was soon dismissed by their straight forward manner of business! Kyle, the sales rep I was with, was easy to talk with and transparent about everything going on. No up sales or pressure, just honesty and transparency. The car is purchased is absolutely amazing and Im really pleased with my visit. If you can, absolutely go here!PS. If someone at Toyota is reading this, Kyle was 10/10 in every facet. Someone get that man a steak!
Went there Saturday. Wasted 2 hours. Had the truck I liked. Sat down told them what I wanted to pay. Came back with crazy numbers. 20k more with trade and what the truck stickered for. Ran my credit which was fine got the email from credit place that they ran it. They come back saying we ran the wrong ssn that’s why it was so high lol I had the proof then I get well this truck has a adjusted mark up because of shortages. Again not my problem yoursAfter about and hour and half they come back pretty close $1800 off I said I’ll think about it and salesperson tells me this truck won’t be here at the end of day. So I said oh well. Now we are 2 hours into this wasting time. I leave I get back to my kid’s apartment and bam three phone calls two text and an email stating I can get the truck at my first number and only number I told them what I wanted to pay. I never returned their calls or text they were trying to make 15k profit on too of their truck that they had in stock. I know it’s a business but wowI would not recommend them to anybody.
