Dirk in electrical supplies saved me an hour and found just what I needed, all within 5 minutes.It would have taken me an hour because the variety of face plates, receptacles, etc is overwhelming. Terrific store, helpful employees. Even the customers are friendly and helpful. The only thing that Lowes has that Menards doesnt is indoor potted plants. But Menards has dogfood, so they get my business.

Came here a couple times staff is always very friendly Tom is always really cool and willing to help great location You can pretty much find everything you need here to fix your home they also offer some great rebates on items as well

Worst experience I had in Menards. Tried to get some assistance in hardware, the guy didn’t let me get out what I wanted sent me to hardware desk. Went back there and was do go buy the stuff from up front and cut it yourself. Although upon arriving at the hardware desk this guy was happily help a white customer. Just say you don’t want to help me because I am black. Cancel there account quick

Menards has everything. I dont think any other hardware store has groceries etc. Im impressed with their wide selection of goods and their truck rental. $20 for the first 75 minutes! I will definitely keep coming back.

I dont go here very often due to never being able to find someone to help if needed. They actually had a ton of employees working in a lot of different aisles. Was able to find someone at the plumbing desk and get exactly what I needed to fix my dishwasher.

Menards has pretty much everything you need also they do 11% rebates very often witch depending on the amount of items you buy you can receive a decent rebate for instore use. They carry both name brand and off brand items for any budget your working with.

I pre-ordered lumber through them, was told it would take two weeks to get to the store and I would receive a phone call when it arrived. Two weeks came and went and never heard from them. I called several times and was always given the same answer we dont have them and dont know when they will get here. I called 10 times over the next two weeks and was finally told by the front end manager that they knew the distribution center was completely out and they knew this on 9/9. When I asked to change the material to something I didnt want but could use, they refused to even budge a little on price because they couldnt possibly sell it for any cheaper. I wasted a month and never got my materials or even a call to explain why it was taking so long.

It’s cheaper to me than Lowe’s, and has a better selection of items. I like their layout more, as well. Also, the 11% rebate sales can really add up. The associates are overall friendly. This trip, I was curious why a gazebo I’m interested in had grommets throughout the roof. So, I asked a passing associate, and he informed me he wasn’t familiar with the department but would fetch someone who was. He quickly did, and although she had no idea either, she stopped what she was doing and began to google and discuss her curiosity in the topic, too lol! We eventually discovered the answer and she also gave me some advice on when the gazebo would go on sale and how to know what to watch for. Great employee. Great experience. Great prices. Great selection. Definitely will return and highly recommend!

They have a bit of everything. Clean bathroom when I went. No complaints about the staff, they do great.

Supposedly had 85 items in stock of the item I wanted, asked a cashier and a manager, no one could tell me where to find them. 😕Followup: Completely incompetent employees. According to their website, they had 85 of an item in stock. I ordered 24 of the item. They couldnt find any of the items in stock, claimed they were backordered. I had traveled from out of town, and expected them to be able to handle a simple order. Their incompetence required a second trip to the store, where I asked for a refund, and it took them 3-4 days to refund the money to my card.

Always some good deals at menards. I think they are having the same problems as everyone else, short on help.

I wish there were Menards stores in Florida, I miss great prices and good selection and knowledgeable staff. This store did not disappoint they had what I needed at a fair price and most of the items were made in the USA. Did have some questions and the individual informed me that they did not have the item I was looking for but sent me in the right direction.

Undoubtedly one of the greatest stores on the planet. Some of the best prices and widest variety of home needs. They have groceries to obscure diy home project products. They also fantastic movie selections with full seasons of retro shows for crazy cheap. Menards is a gift to mankind

Able to find all that I was looking for at reasonable prices. Nice selection of kitchen faucets which was the primary reason for the visits. Masks required signs and 95% compliance from customers, 100% from staff. Needed to ask 3 different staff members product and location information. All were courteous and correct. If we can talk owners into adjusting their political contributions, Im all in!

Menards is great! They have just about everything, its cheaper than Lowes, and they have actual workers that know their merchandise. Imagine that! Ask someone at Lowes and you get an, Uh.... I dont know. Let me look it up.

The parking lot is weirdly structured, but they sell hex wrenches - An item I needed in a pinch. I thanked them in American dollars.

They have a lot of stuff to choose from but I often still cannot find what I need. Garden center is lacking any real plant choices. I DO use their lawn fertilizer. Much cheaper than Scotts and just as good if not better. I have also noticed that they usually have better prices on light bulbs too.

I spend far too much time in various Menards. At least my wife thinks so.

This is the place to be for all you home needs. The staff is always friendly and helpful. They have done a lot to comply with social distancing, and are willing to open registers to keep the lines short. Dont forget to bring your mask as it says you wont be admitted without one. If you are doing any last minute Christmas decorating, Menards has already started clearing out the decorations they have left. Better hurry though, it doesnt look like the remaining inventory will last long.

Went in to look for planting stuff, they had quite a selection! I ended up buying a nice enclosed greenhouse that I liked

My favorite landscaping, hardware store,if u need help, theyll be there for you . Have to p/u a lawn mower battery in a wk or so and Ill b back for that and ck out the spring flowers.

Very poor. Asked 2 employees about getting a kart for lumber I picked out. They both were unhelpful and told me to go find one in the parking lot. When I returned from finding my kart they had put back my lumber I had spent time picking out. I almost just left.

They want handycap cars to park NOT handicap people. But it was better this time than last time.

Don’t shop here, the guy who works in paint is more worried about you wearing a mask above your nose than selling product!

I really like Menards for the selection. The prices are around average. The best time to shop here is when they have the 11% off everything. Theyve been out of several building materials that I needed lately. I guess thats happening all over with everything going on now. Thats the only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 stars. The staff is very helpful also.

Looking for flooring. Displays were a mess.Everything was all mixed up. No help to be had.

The managers are rude to the workers at this site no one should have rude workers maybe instead of saying you could of had something done in 15 minutes maybe you should show them kindly on how to do one instead this manager is John he is old and rude.

Customer service very poor. Ask 2 different employees for help. They had no idea where the item was. Did not offer to help us look.

First I remember why I chose Lowe’s over menards(even though Menards was union built); I walk in and they moved the contractors desk to the opposite end of the building in the back. So I trek back there order 15 sheets of concrete mesh and 50 concrete brick. Then you get to walk all the way back to the front and pay for it, and then you get to walk back to your truck to drive around the building to pick it up and get checked going in and out of the gate. I find the brick and load it up, and then walk around until I find the mesh, and see two sheets lying on the ground and two sheets on the shelf that both look like they’ve been ran through the grinder... So I find a representative cruising around on a forklift and he says that I need to go back in to switch it from the sheets to rolls. So I go back to the contractors desk, finally get it switched, and repeat the whole process to get the roll of mesh....I’ll never go back. I wore a blister on my heel from the ten miles of walking and nearly through my back out loading 150’ of 5’ mesh. Their whole process of purchasing building materials is so far from making common sense it’s unreal.

I ordered online for store pickup $7 charge. Both times my order was incorrect. The young lady from curb side pick up is extremely rude. Terrible experience. Store is basically ran by a bunch of rude high school kids with no work ethics

You want to be insistent as to which door is the exit and which is the entrance. Why don’t you find the same concern for the fact that the loading zone is always full of very parked cars not loading hit. You need to start towing cars to real spaces at the back of the lot. Drag them back there with a forklift. Tires screaming, getting flat spots. Bet you only do it about twice before people who are not loading quit parking there.

Been coming here for years to get supplies and buy things. Customer service is usually pretty good and overall their prices and service and selection cant be beat. Especially when I can buy something much less than what it would cost at a Home Depot or Lowes etc. and not have to deal with the hassle.

The cashiers are so nice and welcoming. Rhea Dawn, Marilyn, Shirley, Tim, and so many familiar faces for yrs. Anthony and Tina in building materials, Jeannie in electrical, Larry and Ernie in hardware and flooring. I could go on and on, but its so nice to see happy helpful people makes me feel comfy about shopping at Menards. Friendly faces like family !

I went in to this Menards before all the covid stuff became strict. I walked in, and people at the desk ask If I had a mask. I told them no...they didnt say anything else, and they didnt offer me mask. So I went in got my item I wanted then went to check out. Manager walks up to me and told if I ever came back to this store the cops would be called. He and I got into small argument. I attempted to leave after I paid for my stuff. The manager followed me out side and blocked my path several times still threatening me about the cops. I wouldnt recommend shopping here...This was uncalled for and could been handled differently.

I appreciate that they make everybody that comes in wear a mask. I just wish everybody would keep them on like they should.

I was just at the Menards in Bloomington In. And wad refused entry into the store. I was not wearing a face mask. I have a medical isdue that wont allow me to wear a face mask. Ibe been tested for covid 19 4 times and test negitive every time. I informed the manager that i had a medical isdue that wouldnt allow me to wear a mask and wad told to tale my buisness else where which is what i intend to do from now on. I will never go to a menards again

I love Menards, the only problem is every time I go in I get more items than are on my list. Prices are very competitive and selection and quality is great.

Store was not overcrowded and all were following guidelines by wearing a mask over nose and mouth and staying 6 feet apart. Employees were very friendly when asked for assistance. And there was a good amount of stock. The only thing is that during check out, if you and the person in the next line is checking out at the same time and both are charging items, you have to stand close to them for that process. There is no barrier like plexiglass, in between.

Everyone is always so friendly there. If you really look, you can usually find good deals and items on clearance.

Disabled veteran, cant wear a face covering due to medical conditions and they wouldnt let me in the store. The assistant manager didnt put forth a sincere effort to help accommodate me. I called Lowes right after and spoke to the manager at Lowes about my issues, she was very understanding and said I would be welcome there if unable to wear a face covering due to my disability issues. Thank you Lowes for caring, Ill be shopping there from here on out.

You wont find better customer service anywhere else. I have always stayed with Menards over the years because of quality of their products, great prices, and great selection including plenty of American made products. And over the years I have had some minor issues a couple of times with special orders or deliveries, etc. But the managers and staff have always gone above and beyond to make sure that I was taken care of and everything was made right. I highly recommend this store.

People friendly and prices are fair

I had ordered appliances over the phone. Came a few days later to pick up. They made the transaction, paperwork and loading very easy.

We both were very impressed. Our pump went out in our well. We had our old box and that is what we called into the Plumbing department. The employee who got on the phone was very knowledgeable on what we were needing. We were thinking our pump was under warranty but because we could not produce the receipt or check we had to buy a new one. We went today and purchased another one. It was $300 but, we got a rebate of $31.00 of which we were related about. Menards was very clean and I was so very Thankful that the employee showed me how to get our rebate. I will get that in the mail tomorrow. Thank You Menards! Out of curiosity why do You not have a Military discount?

My preferred home Improvement store. Its now shopping there over Walmart for general supplies. They dont have the same range if items, but at least they will have it in stock.

Love the selection of organizer products. Large store. They have so much. Very good layout. I have no problem finding what I need. The employees are so helpful and walk me all the time to the product I am looking for.

Terrible yard service. Rude, non existent and I attempted to speak to a manger and leaders set the example and who ever that might be didnt have time to speak to me.So I returned all my items and went to LOWES.

Some not very friendly to people of color. The cashier Kayla at the Bloomington, IN store is the WORST!!! Very rude twice, on two separate occasions. If theres a Customer Service etiquette course, she needs it. Bad. And to all of the people complaining about wearing a mask, those of us who do choose to follow the CDC guidelines do so to protect ourselves and the people around us (i.e. elderly, the sick, infants/children, etc.) from coming in contact with a deadly virus. Keep yourself and your massive entitlement at home and have whatever you desire delivered there.

Very very helpful and polite. Bought the very last Poulan Pro PR5020 chainsaw and was extremely happy with the service I got. I was pretty indecisive, but the employee did not make me feel rushed in any way. He was quite helpful. 6 stars for sure.

My cousin has the big menards card and had just fully paid it off. Well apperantly they hadnt processed it yet, so the card was useless and we had to pay cash. Questioning if I or my family will ever shop at Menards again. Also they wont let you enter without a mask. Take your business elsewhere!

I’m just not a fan of cheap junk that lacks quality, that’s what Menards has for the most part. They do have a huge variety of options but it’s mostly poor quality items that just don’t last. And the lumberyard experience is the most time consuming activity you’ll find at any lumber company anywhere.If your time is valuable?, skip Menards...

Twice this month I have went to the Bloomington Indiana Menards and had very poor service. The first trip I was by myself, I purchased a toilet and a 4x8 sheet of plywood. There was not a cart available for stacking wood vertically so I had to use a flat bed cart pulling it while holding onto the sheet of plywood. Checked out took it to the vehicle loaded it and strapped it down all by myself. Very disappointed in customer service and also in man kind. Today I was in again and ask for someone to assist me with a grill twice. Nobody ever can to the grills. I finally go upstairs and locate grill I wanted and had another customer help me down the stairs with it. Not once was I offered help in loading it and another sheet of plywood.To top it off every cart bay was over flowing with carts out into the isles. Very disappointed!!!

I ordered a Tru Bolt storm door online and picked it up in the Bloomington Store. Everyone that helped me in the store was fantastic!
