I had been doing research around the area for places to get a perm and found this Salon online. I decided to go in for a consult for a perm with Rachel and told her what I wanted and the style I was going for. I scheduled an appointment for a month later and was told around how much it would cost. Overall, it was a good experience she seemed to know what she was talking about and told me she thought she would be able to do it.Fast forward a month and I went back for my appointment and Rachel remembered EVERY detail I told her during my consult which was very impressive. She was very professional and extremely nice during the entire process. She explained the process of the perm and did an excellent job actually performing the perm. The entire time I was very confident in her abilities and she was a very nice person to converse with.The end result was phenomenal! My hair came out exactly how I wanted and she even trimmed a bit of my hair since it hadn’t been cut in almost 8 months. I was given some samples for my new hair and she took pictures as well. Overall, I was pretty nervous to get a perm because I’ve heard horror stories regarding perms, but Rachel did an absolutely phenomenal job and I definitely would recommend checking her out! I will definitely be going back in the future.

I have had nothing but positive experiences at Salon Oriana. Most recently, Madison cut and colored my hair and Yolie did bridal party makeup for my wedding. Madison did an AMAZING job. I have long, fine, thick hair, and she took the time needed to make it perfect. The end result was beautiful, and she was super pleasant and fun to talk to during the process. Yolies make up was absolutely perfect. I have never felt so pretty. She listened to what I wanted and exceeded my expectations. We didnt use airbrush yet the makeup lasted for hours (including through lots of dancing). Salon Oriana is Aveda, which I love, but is still affordable. You get great products, great professionals, and still have reasonable prices. LOVE THIS PLACE!

I have struggled to find a good stylist since moving to Minnesota 2 years ago. I get my hair cut and colored with Ellie-she is so talented! She was recommended by a friend and now our whole friend group goes to her! My friends have also seen other stylists and have never had a bad experience. The studio is clean and feels like an experience when you walk in....the decor etc is creative and esthetically pleasing. I have also had my brows waxed and will have them done here again. My search is finally over!!

Madison really looked at my hair. Really looked. Im of Indian descent with the usual very dark hair that is very grey. She convinced me to switch from total black to a softer black and the result is wonderful. Its a beautiful place that uses plants for decorating and it is lovely. I look forward to going back!

I saw Hanna and she almost turned me away because she was concerned about further damage to my already damaged hair. But as a test, she cut a small piece of my hair off and did a bleach test on it and was surprised to see that my hair could actually handle being lightened a bit and toned as well.I did have to sign a waiver stating that I understood the risks that some of my hair may fall out, and boy did it, but Hanna did and amazing job fixing the hideous job I had gotten done previously by an inexperienced little man at Jungle Red Salon.My hair was suppose to be ombré/color melt (whichever your want to call it) and it was supposed to have a shadow-root because I was getting ready to grow my blonde hair out since my hair was too damaged to upkeep the blonde every 6 weeks. Anyways it was a major disaster when I walked in, the new brown roots that had been touched up to be blonde had turned this awful brassy orange, and the rest of my hair was a spearmint color, almost white, from when I removed the blue from my hair, only emphasizing that brassiness even more.Hanna swooped in like a magically hair fairy and fixed everything. My hair was past it’s breaking point so she couldn’t get all of that grass out in one go but she told me once my hair heals for a month (well I decided on several months) that I could come back in for toner and we could work on slowly but surely getting that brassy color to be the ashy tone I so desperately want it to be! But she did such an excellent job blending the colors into each other using shadow-root, babylights, and balayage techniques. I was so amazed. I had been going to bad salon after bad salon for months and months so to finally find someone who knows what they were doing and not only that but is a perfectionist and absolute angel was just everything!!!!Hanna is amazing and I have FINALLY found my colorist after searching for the past two years!!! I am so excited I found her!!!! I recommend her to everyone only not really because I want to keep her all to myself so she doesn’t get so busy that I can’t see her. Muahaha. She even stayed past the time that the salon was closed to do my hair! And she was so easy and fun to talk to! We had such a blast! I love her! I can’t wait to go back and get my hair toned once I’ve saved up some money and my hair is in a good place. She also introduced me to Olaplaex home care! I had no idea they had a home care line and now I can’t live without it. I can’t say enough good things about her, seriously!!

I’ve been going to Salon Oriana for more than 4 years and am always impressed with the quality of service, no matter which stylist I see. From hair coloring to brow waxes, I leave the salon each time looking great and feeling confident.I also hired the team for my wedding hair and makeup. They made myself and the crew feel relaxed and beautiful. My airbrush makeup application lasted the entire day and I received many compliments on my updo. Most recently Ive had Grace who is quiet and knowledgeable and a great stylist who interprets my words into what I was saying. Im so glad an excellent salon is so close to me.

Super friendly staff

We had yet another amazing experience at Salon Oriana! They have done a phenomenal job taking the pandemic precautions seriously. All of the stations are spaced out so as to maintain social distance and everyone wears masks the whole time. When we got there our service provide let us in the front door (they keep it locked so that they can control the capacity in the space) and walked us to the sink where we all washed our hands and she cleaned our phones for us. Throughout our appointments I noticed other stylists wiping down their chairs and doing lots of extra cleaning. My partner and I were very happy and satisfied with the care and attention Jessica put into our hair, as she always does. We left feeling relaxed and refreshed!

Rachels the best! Im always happy with my color and cut (10+ years). My style is fairly conservative, but the collective salon seems to cater to a diverse group of clients with great-looking hair :)

The stylist I had was very talented. I have to take off stars for the cancelation fee which is 50% of whatever service you cancelled if you dont cancel 24 hours before your service. I understand not wanting to waste anyones time. However, I had a family emergency and I wish they were more understanding. I tried canceling the night before through text but they didnt get it on their end which is no ones fault. I called to try and let them know my situation but the receptionist was short with me and not interested in listening. So I would just keep that in consideration if you wanted to make an appointment there. Dont plan on any emergencies!

Macy did such an amazing job cutting my hair, she even styled it in a way showing me step by step so I can repeat it in the future. It is super cut and I have super curly hair (hard for some people to cut correctly). I am impressed!

I came in for a color correction and was not disappointed. I knew coming in with black ends of my hair that I would not be super light blonde but I was going for a beautiful copper red anyways. It turned out so gorgeous and I cant wait to come back to get some balayage for more dimension :) Thank you to my colorist Lieza!

I got a haircut here a bit ago. The stylist was very kind but her haircut just wasn’t good at all as she didn’t do what I asked for. I said I wanted my hair to be in a V in the back, with lots of shaggy layers, and facial framing. She gave me a shallow U shape with almost no layers and barely did anything to frame my face. I ended up going to another stylist at a different salon to give my hair some actual shape. Disappointing.

I love everything about this place my absolute go to salon. I recommend coming here, everyone is so professional, kind and caring and you never feel like youre being pressured to get anything you dont need. The attention to detail is amazing theres just so much to say hard to put into words I love this place give it a try you wont regret it. (also the owner is amazing understanding patient and does phenomenal work!)

Lieza did an awesome job working on my hair! I have a LOT of hair so she was really flexible with me on the amount of time we needed and very honest and direct about what I can accomplish with color. The only reason this review isnt 5 stars is because its really really cold in there and one stylist kept opening the back door to smoke cigarettes which made it even colder. Everyone was really nice otherwise and its a modern salon environment! Be sure to bundle up if your appt is in the winter.

Whoever was working at the front desk on 12/26 in the early afternoon was so rude and had such an attitude that I just walked out and decided against this place. The young girl in front of me was also treated so poorly because there was a miscommunication on the time of her appointment, as if it personally effected the receptionist. I’m sure this place is great as I can see by other reviews, but man, that receptionist needs to go. They can really make or break an experience and she definitely broke mine.

Worst experience ever! Communication with stylist was terrible. The stylist did what she wanted. I went back to get fixed and it was worse. I got color and cut the color was good although all over my skin!

Amazing first time experience at Oriana! Shiann was amazing - I told her I was ready for a big change, and she asked great questions about my hair history, the amount of time I can realistically expect to spend on my hair each day, and pertinent health history. She help me figure out the perfect cut for me. I left the salon feeling 100% confident, and that I have truly had a hair consultation and professional service, not just your run-of-the-mill cut. If every appointment is like my 1st, then I’m a client for life.

One of my new favorite salons in the cities. My mom and I came in for pedicures and had a great experience! The salon has a trendy and welcoming aesthetic and the staff were all very friendly. They have two pedicure stations and Macy was excellent - my feet feel great and she used all lovely smelling Aveda products. Definitely would recommend if you’re looking to pamper yourself without breaking the bank!

First visit and I finally found stylist that listened to my concerns with having such thin/fine hair which always limited my options. Rachel was great! The cut was perfect and the ongoing plan to get my hair to the length I hope for.

I was nervous because I have textured hair and the advertising for this place doesnt showcase they do hair for anyone with 3A hair or higher but I went in on a hope that someone knew what they were doing and my stylist Macy slayed my hair to the gods. Nice people and atmosphere. Went for a simple hair wash and blowout. He used too much styling product and over blow dried the hair. The hair got heavy, sticky, flat looking like dirty hair. Did not like it at all. Paid $50 plus 8 tip $58 to wash my hair next morning because I couldn’t handle the dirty grease look.

Macy did an AMAZING JOB!! She took my grown out, scraggly, witch hair and turned it into a beautiful angled bob cut. And not only did she make the ends of my hair sing, she also took my grown out, washed out red hair color and turned it into a BEAUTIFUL cool toned brown to ash blonde ombré. Salon Oriana is a complete service salon with Aveda products. My hair stylist Bianca does a great job with my hair and cuts it for how it works best for my lifestyle, as well as offering other possible suggestions. Shes very client-focused and knowledgeable in cutting, coloring and hair care. Id highly recommend Bianca and Salon Oriana.

Be wary if you need your hair done for important event.They have called to reschedule my daughters hair appointments 5 times, including the hair appointment ON THE DAY OF PROM! I dont mean they called five times in one day. I mean the past five appointments my daughter had scheduled, theyve called asking if she can come in at a different time with barely any advance notice - shes been minutes away from the salon. One time you can be understanding, the second time, sure - understanding, but irritated. The third and forth time are way too many. The fifth time lost them a long-time client. Maybe its only young adults who are treated as if their time isnt important. Be warned if youre going there to have your hair done for an event. Be warned if you make an appointment! You risk getting a phone call telling you the stylist cant see you when your appointment is scheduled.So after the last appointment in which my daughter wasnt able to see the stylist, she rescheduled for a month out only to get another call saying the same thing. We are d.u.n.

Amazing. I initially was looking for a salon to bring my hair from a faded red to blonde, when I scheduled an appointment with Shiann. I love the transformation she’s done with my hair over the last half year, she’s so personable and really knows what she’s doing with the hair coloring!

My hairstylist is the best. She is challenged by the fact that my hair is fine, thin, thinning, and has many cowlicks. With all of those challenges, she always comes through with a style that I can manage at home as well.
