Ladies, this honest review is for you. My first time (2019) at R&R was fantastic; helpful, courteous, and great service. My 1999 Honda car would last a very long time, the tech had said. However, my second time (2021) going for service had opposite results. I needed new brake lines and a few other standard mileage repairs. I wasnt willing to pay (I thought $1900 sounded steep) for repairs. The tech later told me that my car was only worth $200 because it was so rusty underneath, and to take it to the scrap yard. None of that sounded right. I asked if they could work with me in getting my vehicle somewhere else; they didnt know anyone and could not help. Eventually I was able to have a reliable mechanic friend fix my car---for over half the cost. And his review? Your car is in great shape and should last you a long time! So, ladies, I implore you... Be cautious in an automobile crises. Trust your gut to feel and think differently, stand up for yourself, and do the right thing.

Well my check engine light is still on and I paid $800 to get it turned off and when he told me my car was ready he told me not to drive it for a couple days which Ive never experienced anytime Ive ever taken a vehicle to the mechanic so I dont recommend this place!

My car was making a grinding noise during sharp right turns. I came in from out of town and needed it fixed before traveling again. I called, they told me to bring it in. The next day I walked in and they fixed my issue same day for a relatively reasonable price. All very straightforward.Thanks for your help!

Not only will they not upsell you into something you dont need they will fix whats needed and stand by there work. Rick is a straight forward no games kind of guy and stand up person. Something refreshing and wont break the bank.

So I bought a car from ricks son at Bn used auto outlet for 10k had a bad ptu . I was ensured that it would be fixed by his father rick since they have a working business relationship where he sells cars and his dad fixes them...well rick had me bring the car there said the problem was fixed (it wasn’t). Then told me to bring it back to be fixed again (it wasn’t ). All this because he was angry at the fact that the car I traded to his son had a bad timing chain so he felt that I got over on his kid (after dropping 10k )(which I didn’t know who his kid was at the time) and he has now left me with a bad power transfer unit out of spite now I wouldn’t even trust him to try it again

I just spoke to someone at AutoZone 2 days ago. I was told I had a few months left on my warranty. So, I could bring my battery in for a new one. When I picked my car up from this shop, my battery was missing. This is not how any mechanic works. If you dont get work done, then your car is in the same condition it was sent in. Why was my old battery not there? especially, when I said it went out before my warranty expired. This is very suspicious to me. Not to mention, I paid for a diagnostic, but the paperwork never gave any information about what was wrong with my car. Simply wont start. Meanwhile, I wss going to be charged almost $600 w/o and real information about the issues with my car. Oh, and simply having a friend put a battery in afterwards got the car moving! So where is my battery? Why wasnt there anything written for the diagnostic I PAID for? and what was the charges going to be for? AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST!!! SHADY !

Always bring my car here when it needs maintenance. Honest work and honest prices. Very personal service as well. Dave always lets me know what needs to be fixed and what can wait. They also stand by their work. They go above and beyond, an unrelated part broke on my car after I picked my car up from service. I called Dave and he personally came out and towed my car, fixed the part, and then dropped it back off in my parking lot at no charge. I always recommend this place to friends because of the high quality work they do and the personal service they give.

Needed a break line repaired that was leaking, they got the car in Fast, repaired the problem and left the car clean inside the brakes worked perfectly afterwards and a very fair price. The staff and mechanics are very knowledgeable and very easy to deal with.

I was in dire need a of a mechanic passing through illinois and my spark plug blew out of the motor of my subaru. R and r was the only place that would even consider retapping my heads so that i could be on the way. Fast, friendly, and above all else they did all 4 spark plug ports for 215 bucks.!! Wish there were 6 stars to give to this fantastic place. Oh and they are ase certified as well!!!

They would get ZERO STARS if it was possible. The owner tried to rip me off for $1500 even after my wife showed him receipts. Then he cussed her out. Then there was a warranty issue that he refused to honor. He is an absolute piece of garbage and I recommend staying as far away as possible.

Rick did some work on my 16 year old sons 1975 chevy pick up. My son has done all the restoring this truck and started the process of repairing the rearend. Ricks team took a look and recognized damage to the Ring and Pinion. Upon fixing the rearend Rick kept the damaged Ring and Pinion to show my son as a learning tool for my son.
