I have an old car on its last legs that was giving me issues. Bob helped me out and explained to me with great detail the car was having and gave me some sound advice. If I wouldve fixed everything on the car that needed fixing it would of cost me $2500 all together.Instead I paid around $650 and fixed only the issues that would let me drive safely and keep it going until my next car purchase.Thanks, Bob!

The heat shield under my wifes car was partially off from a bad pot hole or something. They put it back on for her at no charge! Great customer service. We will definitely them in the future because of this.
I was incredibly impressed with Owen. I called early in the day about a possible appointment and I was enthusiastically invited to bring my car the same day. When I arrived an hour before closing, can again same energy about getting it done. When the needed a part from a local auto parts store, I was informed and that it might take a little bit longer. The price was great, the service outstanding
Great, just great! I thought Id have to buy a new tire but they simply patched it and charge me less than $15 and that was out the door after about a half an hour. 👍😊
Trying to bait me into getting into an argument with them so that they would not want to help me. These people actually did not want my service, although, they can build a national account and I normally bring my vehicle in here to get the regular oil change and balance rotation. Normally I like to deal with Kevin and one of their Hasial, one of their best technicians, because the other workers like Bob and Steve just was always rude to me whenever I would deal with them. You always want to go to places where your business is appreciated and people dont mind helping you, especially when I drive at least 12 hours a day and need to make sure that my vehicle is in tip top shape. But one day I went in there and Kevin was not there, and Steve was there, and he would rather help the other customers rather than me. Knowing that the employee that normally deal with, the technician, not being available along with Kevin, I told Steve I would wait. I did go back in another time and Kevin was available and he was able to help me after I set up an appointment. But apparently today, April 29th 2021, when I went back, Bob wanted to help me. I saw that Kevin was sitting at the desk and I asked for him to help me and Kevin said one of those guys can help me, because he is tied up. So Bob, with his rude self, help me. He seemed to have this kind of attitude of who does this black guy think he is trying to be particular. Even walked away from my position so that he can try to have me follow him. Not have any kind of respect. Thinking that hes better than black people. I even tried to emphasize to him that I needed to make sure that those other tires are checked, he nonchalantly just said we check all tires. But he didnt want to listen, even when I was emphasizing that, please have them check all of the other tires.All I need was just a nail taken out of the rear passenger tire and fixed. So I signed the car in and waited. But 5 minutes later, another customer walked in, and Kevin was glad to stop what he was doing and help that person. So apparently, kevin, whom I thought was a stand-up guy, decide to so his true colors and join in with the other guys.But it literally took over an hour and a half for them to actually take the car, to drive it inside the bay to begin to repair it, when Bob told me it was going to be about an hour. I guess they wanted me to become impatient so that I can walk up to the desk, to ask to see how long and then for them to try to have an excuse to turn me away. But the mistake that they made was that I am one of the most patient person on this planet. Its amazing nowadays how people are. Just help people. They choose your business and they will give you recommendations but you got to treat everybody the same way.So I rent my car through budget year around. Budget has a national account with firestone. I drive the car everyday. But I will never bring my car back here again... Because normally something that would normally take about 30 minutes, its going to turn to almost 2 hours and a half. They could have had that car done. They could have had it taken care of, like Bob said it was going to take about no more than an hour. But they actually did not want to help me. They wanted to trying to find some excuse to turn me away. But I did not give that to them I will not give that to them. So they can look at my black face waiting. Its amazing to me how people can still do this way.So at 11:33 a.m., about no more than 20 minutes after they took the car in, the car has been done. So they purposefully had me wait just so that they can try to make me feel impatient, woke up to the counter, then try to accuse me of being impatient, and then turn me away.And it is quite interesting, once the car was done, guess who decided to want to go and help me Kevin. Maybe it is a guilty conscience. That I do not know. But its quite interesting that the very thing that I wanted Bob to make sure that he had the technician check was not addressed. Because I do not know if the technician checked the other tires
Always a great experience here, Kevin and Bob are top notch at what they do. They go above and beyond to ensure quality work is provided at a very reasonable price. They are always very honest and never once took advantage of a woman needing honest car care. Im confident they have my back no matter what repair or maintenance is needed.

I’ve used them several times over the years with good results. I took my car in for an oil change/rotation. Service started off great but they were a little vague on how low it would take. After about 1 hour and 20 minutes I started to get nervous, I needed to leave soon to pick up my son. I approached the service counter and waited patiently. There were 2 employees, 1 was helping another customer and the other was working on the computer. The free employee ignored me, after the other finishes he asked if he could help, I inquired if he knew how long it may be for my car. The computer guy interrupts rudely to correct the name on the service, so he knew who I was. I asked again politely if he knew how long it would be. He snaps that he is doing the paperwork and is going as fast as he can. All he had to say is 5 minutes. Treating your customers like a hassle is the surest way to make sure they won’t come back. I’m sorry this one person stands out from your typically good service, I won’t be back.

Staff are very helpful and friendly. I have been searching for cherry flavor frosting when I found it here. One of the staff could see I was looking for something and was in a hurry. I asked if he carried cherry frosting. He said yes and took me to that aisle. I was on my lunch and was thankful that I was taken care of as soon as I entered the store. I highly recommend.

Got an oil change done here and my car came back with easily an I inch scratch on the top of my car that was not there before i dropped it off that morning.
This place is amazing and quick!!! My daughters car had to be towed there because of a flat tire. She attends ISU. They were so nice and helpful and even picked her up from her apartment to take her to her car once finished. If you have any tire issues without a doubt please go here!!!!!! Ive been a customer at this location for almost 10 years now and never have I ran into any issues with the staff. They do what you ask of them, for your car, and even ask if you want anything while you wait.They have a simple punch card rewards system that I have gotten free oil changes at least once a year. Along with that, if you buy your tires from them they give free tire rotations for the life of the tires! They have saved me a ton of money and time over the course of almost 10 years.

Havent had a bad experience yet. Called them recently to see if I could get one tire for my car since I had a flap (hole) on the sidewall. They ordered the tire and it was at the store the next day. They said I could stop in anytime to have it replaced. When I went to have it replaced it took less than an hour. I went back later that day as I had driven the 50 miles necessary to have lug nuts checked. They checked all four tires in less than 5 minutes and I was on my way.
Just had a great experience with Owen Tire and Auto. I never write these reviews but credit is given when deserved. I am very picky when choosing a shop because I do most of my own repairs. After shopping around in town, I was most impressed with Owen because of their customer service and small town charm. Call me crazy, but these little shops always do the best work! I had a nail in one of my tires and one of the bigger shops in Normal wanted to sell me a new tire which they didnt even stock. If you want honest answers you can trust, see the guys at Owen.
Dont go here. When I came to pick up at my car, the guy said hed be with me in just a moment. I waited for about 5-10 min and no one helped me. They even went out to the garage and I could see through their windows they were looking at their phones and just small talking with people. Finally I asked if I could pay for my car. After I paid they said my car was out front, I told them I didnt see it there and they said oh it must be in back. They came with me to look for it in back and it wasnt there. So we went back to the front- not there. Finally they asked where it was parked and they guy showed us it was in a weird spot. When I got home I realized my passenger car front fender had a dent slightly larger than palm size! I called right away and they asked me to bring it in the morning to meet with the store manager. The store manager took pictures and said it would not be something they did but he would look at the cameras. He said if it happened in the parking lot here would be nothing they could do. All of this makes me question their integrity and quality of work because if this is how they address problems its sub-par at best. I also wonder if the weird park placement had to do with the dent as well. Accidents happen- but people and companies are defined by the way they handle accidents.
Got new brakes and rotors at this place, and less than a year later, they started making awful noise even though I barely drive the car. Not happy I wasted hundreds of dollars. I will never go anywhere but the car dealership to get my brake repairs in the future.
The customer service was good over the phone and even better in person. They showed me the problem with my tires didnt pressure with the highest price fix. I was given options to choose from. i love it and will be back.

I put on couple of used tires, at the time of replacement they said tires are good. Right after vehicle start to give strange sound, on check with them the told it is a wheel bearing problem to replace price ll be $600. Came back checked with Sears they said everything is good after they replaced with two new tires. Now walking back and forth to the shop to get the amount credited back to my acct. its really frustrating experience with these people.
This place gets one star because I cant leave it blank!Will NEVER return to this place. Bought four new tires in November 2017, had them rotated twice. Went to get warranty work done, because one of the tires had gone bald. The customer service person spent more time telling me it was my fault the tire was bad, when there was Nothing wrong with the other three. Obviously something wrong with the tire. Would not honor their warrantyDont support Owen tire.I hope you go out if business!
They were my go to shop. But recent experiences tell me to avoid them now. Like all shops they are welcoming on the first visit and then it changes. Recently my car had a high speed noise, the guys was nice to go on ride to diagnose. He accepted that he has identified the issue; suggested changing shocks and mounts I said lets change only shock, spent 300. No change, ZERO, same noise absolutely no change. I called them, and got a second appointment done, another test drive, they think something inside the car is knocking. Bingo, I found the fix, it was Parking brake cable rubbing with a hook. I fixed it with some lubricant right there in front on them. Not a word on being sorry. Today, again I went to the shop for oil change and tire rot. told him how I fixed the noise issue, again silence. Well, they wanted to charge me for tire rotation this time, I told tires were from them, he first denied I ever got the tire rotated with them. I do pay for rotation for my other car. Then he said they should have charged me on 3 instance before, it was a mistake, well its OK to fix a mistake and 15$ is no big deal, after you charged me 300 for no need. Anyway, I think they just lost a customer. I think it is because I first forgot to ask for rotation and added later., and he was expecting some money for lifting the car again. Anyways, all this and they earned a bad review and a lost customer.
I always get fast, friendly service there when I get an oil change. The staff greet me by name as I walk in the door and remember the make and model of my car. Free wifi lets me get my work done while I wait. I have never regretted going there for help.
Great service! I have been here a few times in years past. I remember the service taking a little long (rotation, I think) and they told me there was no charge due to the wait! Awesome!
I got home from a trip to discover a problem with low pressure in a tire. I did a Google sea and found Owen tire and a map to get me there. They got me worked in and fixed the problem in an hour. I was very happy with the service.

I have had a truck and four cars serviced and repaired at Owen over the course of ten years. I also had lawn tractor tires mounted/repaired and snowblower tires mounted and repaired. I cant say enough about how well Ive always been treated, and, the prices are very fair. Tim and Titus are excellent.

When we purchased our tires they were very friendly and helpful. We also purchased the tire warranty. 8 months later, were having an issue with a tire. There was a thumping sound when driving. Turns out the belt is showing on one tire, it is bad. We were told that the warranty we purchased wasnt good because we failed to rotate the tires regularly enough. Ok I dont like it but thats on us. However, only 1 tire was bad, not all 4. These were the best tires they sold and they are only 8 months old. Obviously there is a flaw with this 1 tire. Well the gentleman was very rude and said he would be willing to sell us 2 new tires for $400 and were not honoring the firestone employee familys discount any longer unless you are a parent. No thank you. Bloomington is 2 hrs from home, not convenient. We originally went there because of the discount and the good warranty they offered. We ended up going to another firestone business closer to home that agreed there is a flaw in the tire and sold us a new one at an employee discounted price. Wont support or recommend Owen again. Very disappointed in their service and customer handling of the situation.
