Great shop. I’ve use them for my personal vehicle as well as some of our customers cars and company vehicle. They are very friendly and always do an awesome job!
Asked for only conventional oil change and rotation (~60) but before they wrapped it up they insisted filters were dirty. Heard the desk person talking to tech that the eng filter looked clean (replaced ~5k miles ago) but the cabin filter did look a bit dirty. Shouldve asked price as I could pick up motor craft for $18 and change it myself... $49. K&N is cheaper.Friendly enough but ask before they gouge ya.
I should have known when I recognized nine of the people that used to work here that this was not business as usual. I had been a customer for many years and I felt reasonable sure they weren’t screwing me over. Things definitely have changed. Several people ahead of me complained about prices. I have replaced so many tires here in the past few years you’d think I was going cross country rather than 3k a year. They insisted I needed all my tires replaced at a very high price. On top of that they gave me an estimate for work that I ultimately was wise enough to get other professional estimates that were half the price. This company said their labor rate of $135 was lower than most when in truth I was told by Auto Zone it was No more than $120 and I found 35 year veterans in the area charging as low as $80 an hour. Please do your homework and look elsewhere,
The oil change booklet comes with coupons- buy it, so worth it. They tell it like is, no pressure to get unnecessary work done. Ive always had great experiences here.
I came to Heartland after using them several times in the past because my front tires needed replaced. Id rate their service as average to poor. Frequently Id walk in and no one was at the reception desk so Id be left trying to catch someones eye through the small window and wave them in, and when I had to call and change my appointment day one time I found out later by pure luck that they forgot to record the change. But these are relatively small issues... When I picked up my car everything seemed fine, but by late evening to my great annoyance I discovered one tire had gone completely flat. Putting on my spare late in the evening and getting back to the auto shop was obviously NOT what I had in my plans the same day I bought brand new expensive tires. The next day there was very little if any apology or attempt to make things right with me, especially with the mechanic. I was clear in that I wanted a brand new tire put on but received some pushback. Their poor quality had led to installing the tire/valve stem wrong which caused the flat. Even though I had brought cars there 3-4 different times over the past year and a half they did not seem to care one bit if they lost my business. On top of all that, they cracked my hub cap at some point during the service and when I pointed it out to them while inspecting my car he made some bogus excuse and blew it off. The hub cap proceeded to fall off and get shattered in the road a few days later, so I was forced to buy a whole new set! Very annoying, and an expense I shouldnt have had to pay. Another unexpected expense was a $30 road hazard change which they put on my bill without even asking and I didnt realize until later due to all the other nonsense I was dealing with.I debated for a while between giving 1 or 2 stars, but because Ive had decent experiences here in the past I decided to be nice. All in all, I will definitely not be returning unless they decide they want to try to get my business back. Id recommend you look elsewhere because there are definitely better options than Heartland!!
I have been going to this location for 10 years and never had issues, well it was time to get some work done on my vehicle and noticed not a single familiar face working there. I didnt think too much of it so I just dropped my car off to have some brake lines and hoses replaced and walked home. (this was on a monday) well tuesday afternoon came along and I have not heard anything about my car. So I called them up to get an update. oh your car is just getting pulled in because you said there was no rushand yes that is true but no rush doesnt mean let car sit outside for 2 whole days. so I told them fine but would like my car done by Friday.lady told me they will start on it first thing Wednesday morning.so Thursday afternoon rolls around and no calls. so I call around 1pm for an update. well the mechanic asked me why I want my brake lines replaced, and I said because they are old and rusted, so he tells me well the brake lines are perfectly fine they are protected with a rubber coating. so I said fine but I at least need the brake hoses replaced because they are starting to deteriorate on the inside and losing brake pressure. he agreed that was needed. so frustrated I said ok just replace the 4 brake hoses. well I decide to call right away Friday morning for an update. well guess what he just started working on it I asked didnt he start working on it yesterday? lady at desk said no he just pulled the car in and looked at it. so I reiterated that I want to pick up my car this evening. she said ok he will get right on it.so 6pm rolls around and no phone call so I guess Ill have to pick it up Saturday morning.so I call Saturday morning and guess what they have not started on it!!!I asked if they at least looked at my AC (I asked them to run an AC test and charge it if needed when I initially dropped it off)he said yes but the AC clutch is bad. I said ok no problem so its just $40 for the AC test? he said well no its 250 because we charged the system. I asked why they charged the system if the test failed? They said well I had to charge the system to see if the clutch kicks in. I responded back well Im not paying $250 for something that doesnt work. He said I understand and I will remove the charge. I said ok and would like my car done today. he said ok no problem.well 3 pm comes around and shop closes at 4 so I called them up to make sure I can come get my car and this is what they saidwe were just about to call you, so there is no way I can get those brake hoses off without twisting or breaking the lines. and to run new lines will take about a day and a half and cost double what you were quoted.luckily for me I can keep my cool, but inside I was FUMING!I just said nope Im coming to get my car.oh and when I got there they still charged me 250 for the AC and the guy said I dont know who told you the AC clutch was bad but the system blows cold air and works great.I didnt argue I paid and left.will never go back again - most incompetent group of people!!
As a first time customer at this location, the service was extremely poor. The convenience of having this location less than a mile away got me excited for when I needed to get my car looked at. But, aside from setting up an appointment over the phone, the customer service is severely lacking.I had an appointment scheduled for this morning. I arrived early to get checked in, and right from the get go, I felt like my issues weren’t a concern. While I was explaining what I needed to be done to my car, which I had already explained over the phone, the front desk lady took a call in the middle of our conversation without asking me to stop. She proceeded to tell me to continue while she was on the phone with another customer. She gets off the phone and I have to explain all over again what I needed done to my car. I had a bad tire sensor, my heat wasn’t working properly, and I just wanted a general check up on my car. I leave the store and less than an hour later my car was done?I returned to the store and asked what maintenance was done, and all that was fixed was my tire sensor. I asked if the heat and general maintenance was checked and the response I got was “they didn’t see anything”.I know my car needed maintenance cause I got another quote from a different store (Goodyear as well) and they gave me a quote of a $1k worth of things that needed to be addressed eventually on the car. This was a year ago. It’s not like those problems just disappeared but it’s pretty obvious this store didn’t do what I asked them which was a complete diagnosis of the car and I know that wasn’t done cause my car was ready to be picked up in less than an hour.This may come off as a petty complaint but as a first time customer, the service was pretty poor and my problems were not fully addressed.Not sure I’ll be coming back even if it is less than a mile from my home.
I will never take another car here again I bought 4 new tires from them and and one of them was leaking air as soon as I left they also broke one of my tire monitor sensors I dropped my car of to fix the problem and they tried to charge me 100 dollars for a new tire valve stating that sometimes new ones leak and its not there fault, after arguing for about 20 minnutes they finally agreed to fix the problem which they apparently did not do!! they closed and kept my car there for the whole weekend I picked it up on Monday night after driving for one day I realized my tire is still leaking air
People used to work here are gone! I’m not satisfied with the new crew! They are overpriced and are not welcome if you don’t get the repair done by them. My family work near by so we have Six cars to do the maintenance in this place for the past few years. Now, time to say bye bye!
Hello friends, they recommended this workshop to me as honest and punctual, I believed and left the pile for 6 months so that they could create the entire chassis for me, but they dont care, they just changed the battery for me and in 6 months it cost 1000 $ and think its fair if they worked to advise this tobe no thanks for the attention overflow will leave your beloved car think 7 times !!!!!!
Took my car to get an estimate on something that I already told them was wrong with it.They gave me an ungodly price and said the part was$500 alone which is a lie because I already looked it up on eBay and it’s $125(nice mark up) then when I told them I’m not getting it done there they charge me$75 for telling me what I already knew.complete junk do not go here

Purchased synthetic oil change booklet (a few hundred dollars) and brought my car in for a routine oil change. Upon dropping my car off I was very specific that my vehicle required a specific spec’d oil. They reassured me that they would look it up and put the correct oil in. Once the car was ready, they called and told me my tires were dry rotted, which I was aware of. So I had them install new tires since I had the time and it was already there. Upon receiving my vehicle they had put in the wrong oil. I went in immediately and they scrambled to prove me wrong. I then went home and checked Valvolines site to get proof of there mistake, went back and talked to the manager. We agreed the wrong oil was installed. We then went on to see what oil they could get to meet my spec requirements for my vehicle and was told to bring it back the following day. I brought it back and was told I would have to spend extra for the “better oil” which I was understanding of. Got the car back, and again the wrong oil was put in. Went back in and was complete blamed by the manager for them putting the wrong oil in the 2nd time. I was blamed for saying to put a oil that is not spec’d for my vehicle into my car. How is that even a valid thought? My whole issue was not getting the correctly spec’d oil for my vehicle thus voiding my warranty that came with my vehicle and the emissions system. I ended up purchasing my oil, they refused to refund me any money since I said “to put the wrong oil in my vehicle”, again blaming me. Was told I could return the oil I purchased and they would get the oil for me a third time and it’s been 2 days with no response. So I’ve been inconvenienced several times, been blamed for their mistakes and lost money. Just another shop that will charge you an arm and a leg and give you minimal service. Spent almost $600 on tires and the added fee of “better oil” and now have to bring my car to another shop cause I’ve lost all trust. Thanks for the great service, putting me at risk of voiding my warranty, and forcing me to loss money while blaming me for your mistakes.

Nick and the team at Heartland Tire are the best. I have had my vehicles serviced here for the last 2 years, and even though I no longer work or live in Bloomington, I drive from south of the river for my service still!I have always received fair estimates, timely service, and am treated respectfully throughout every interaction. If your vehicle DOESN’T need something, they will tell you that as well.I came in with an issue on my Ford Escape (that the dealership would have charged exorbitant diagnostic fees *just to look at*). They took care of diagnosing and repairing it same day - within one afternoon - at a fair price!Previously when I was getting ready to part with a vehicle I had regularly serviced there, they gave me a very reasonable price on a full pre-purchase inspection to include with my listing it for sale.Also, if you need a loaner while having a car worked on during the workday, they offer that as well (even if the Buick is a bit of a beater.... 😉)It’s the small things like that, that make a customer for life! I highly recommend this shop.

I have been having my cars serviced here for the last six years, and every interaction I have had with a salesperson or technician has been respectful, efficient, and service-oriented. I usually deal with Dan at the front desk, and he takes the time to answer all of my questions. They stand by their work and have even spent more time on my car to diagnose a problem after service that they didnt cause.
Best customer service ever. I came here after walking out of bobby and Steves because they wouldnt do what I was asking of them but wanted to do more. I left my car with them over night they called. First thing in the morning with the issue.I will most definitely be a returning customer.

They repaired my flat in record time, provided an AFFORDABLE estimate for four brand new tires and when they made a small mistake they rectified it immediately, therefore, gaining a customer for life. I want to thank Adam and Tom at Heartland for their great customer service. We had a flat today in the bitter cold, changed the tire in the parking lot of a hockey arena and brought it all over to Heartland Tire. They took a look and determined it could just be patched instead of needing to be replaced, they patched it up and replaced the original back on the car as a courtesy! Congrats to them for doing business with the long view in mind. Next time we need our tires replaced, you can bet Ill be going to Heartland! Thanks again, guys.
Above and beyond. Is how I would explain the service I experienced here.I was in town over the 4 th of July and caught a flat on one of the new tires I had installed in Texas before leaving. I have the road hazard coverage and figured Id just find a Goodyear to get a replacement tire. Although this location was not a part of the nation wide Goodyear warranty program they helped me out anyway. Jim was busy on the phone and computer figuring out how to get it done through the warranty coverage I had. Since I didnt have a copy of my invoice on hand it was a bit of a task.Just want to say thanks to Jim and the rest of the team for their help and efforts in getting me taken care of.Friendly, professional service is what I found at this location, and it was greatly appreciated!

The service at West Bloomington Goodyear is efficient and friendly, but not pushy. I had an excellent experience with my most recent oil change and certainly plan to be back!
Fantastic quick service with great value! When asked to check if a tire rotation and a balance was needed they were very courteous and told me it wasnt, allowing me to save a few dollars!
Only got an oil change. Great service! I work nearby, so I dropped off my car, they gave me a ride back to work, then called and picked me up when it was done. :)

Lets just say if youre going to a restaurant that specializes in seafood, you dont order steak. That being said, if your going to this Goodyear for tires, they do an excellent job. However, DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE FOR ANY SERVICE WORK. When installing tires, they will look for issues that requires service work because thats where they make their most money. Multiple times theyve misdiagnosed an issue. Even on simple oil changes, they will find an issue that requires service work. DONT EVEN LET THEM CHECK THE FLUIDS! For me, they incorrectly re-installed the clutch reservoir cap, which later significantly shortened the life and ruined my clutch! They claimed someone else could have done it. However, I know for a fact they were the last shop to touch my vehicle! Order the tires (fish), and leave the service (steak) for other repair shops.

I told my 83 year old mother to take here car there to have her brakes replaced. they quoted her $900. She declined and took it to the dealer she purchased it from, they brushed the rust off the rotors and charged her zero! I am angry about this.

People are great and the service was better than expected!
They installed the wrong spark plugs in my SUV. May have damaged the engine, but refuse to do anything about it including reimbursing me for the correct spark plug installation.
I made an appointment at 6:30 to just get my oil changed and Im still sitting here at 8:00... I wont go here again.
Not only did we experience excellent and honest service, I noted that the customers before us did too. We will be back!
