Ive always had a great experience with All About Auto! My car had an issue with the shift cable and they were very honest and upfront with how everything might be repaired. As a college student, I always get anxious coming to auto repair shops with little to no knowledge about cars, but these guys were respectful throughout the entire interaction. They actually managed to repair my car for less of the quoted cost! Best part is that they always call me for any updates and news so I never have to worry about the status of my car. Def check these guys out!

I dont want to be mean or anything but I wont be doing any business anymore here. I get that I brought a bad engine first time and they were not able to fix it but when I brought the second engine they were not able to finish the whole job. But this is not about the engine, this is about what they did to my car. First of all the knock sensor wire was not connected, they forgot to put the air filter so it was empty, valve cover gasket was leaking, and the engine oil screw is all messed up. I tried changing the oil today and I cant even take off the screw because they messed it up. Once they replaced the engine, they gave me a time to come and take the car. When I came at that time, I was told that they still need more testing to do which requires driving the car. But when I came back the car was still there and they havent ran any testing.

These guys are AWESOME, Tyler, Diego and all the mechanics. Went above and beyond on getting me back on the road, they have worked on my vehicles and always treat us right and very fair in pricing. You can trust all of them to get it right.Thanks again Tyler and everyone at All About Auto.

Each time, they have demonstrated professionalism, consistency in response (I’ve spoken with and met multiple workers who all had the same mindset: to meet the needs of the customer). It was a Friday afternoon my wife and I were on our way to a car show car broke down on side of road called a lot of shops to get it quick to get back on the road everyone was booked and wouldn’t look at it leaving us stranded! We had it towed to this shop by 3pm on a Friday afternoon Diego and his crew worked past 5pm on a Friday night starting their weekend work hours over to get us back on the road safely! This shop has been a life saver, a blessing and definitely recommend! We will return here for future needs!

We began taking our fleet trucks to All about Auto in January. I am fairly certain by now they have worked on all of our trucks and fixed all the issues our last mechanic didnt do correctly or completely screwed up even more. The Staff has been most helpful in addressing the problems and giving me a fair price - along with always standing by their work. Now our trucks are running better than they have in a long time. we will keep coming back! Heck they see our personal vehicles now too!

I love All About Auto. They were very informative and did a great job communicating with me and my insurance after a recent storm took down a large tree branch and damaged my car. I was out of town while it happened, but they handled everything perfectly. I have a dog that rides with me often but youd never know because they somehow got all the pet hair even out of all the tight crevices. My leather looks new and my paint is sparkling. Taken in my car here for issues with electrical and brake systems. First time they fixed an issue that another shop had incorrectly diagnosed and wanted to charge 10x the cost for. All About Auto had my car in at lunch and repairs were complete by 5pm. The second time they had diagnosed the issue within a few hours and had it repaired in under 24. All the while Diego and Tyler keep you up to date and are extremely professional, and I havent had issues with either repair since.

Amazing service from these guys. The car I brought them was absolutely filthy, and theres no carpet on the floor which makes the job all the more difficult. They still got it done within the day in time for me to get to work, and even went out of their way to fix some minor problems under the hood free of charge.I definitely rushed them and didnt give them enough time due to last second planning on my part, but Im still extremely satisfied with the detail job they managed to pull off. They made it clear that they dont accept good enough and want to do the best job they absolutely can, and I respect the hell out of that.Would recommend this place to anyone looking for a detail, or really any other service they provide. They make it clear from the start that they care about giving you the best customer experience possible.

I highly recommend All About Auto for detailing. They made me feel not so embarrassed about driving a 2004 model. My car hasn’t been this clean since I purchased it. They put the “detail” in detailing work. Every surface and crevice is perfectly clean again. Super friendly and accommodating too. $120 for inside/outside and your car is like new again.

Being a college student and not knowing a lot about cars it’s always hard to find a mechanic you can trust. I’ve been using all about auto since my freshman year at ISU and every time Ive had an issue the prices are always more than fair and reasonable, Diego is always willing to answer any and all questions and I’ve never had an issue with the quality of repair. If you’re a college student and have a car with problems I definitely recommend all about auto.

The Owner Diego is a great mechanic and very professional in his work. He is the most reasonably priced and most competent mechanic Ive been taking my vehicles to for the past 5 years.

I would give more stars if I could! Diego and his team were so friendly and honest. Their prices were so much more affordable than all the other mechanics weve tried. We had a big maintenance job done on our minivan, and they installed new parts at almost half the price you would pay at the dealership (serpentine and timing belt, water pump, spark plugs, and new tires under a 65,000 mile warranty.) They were also truthful about the good condition of some other things we asked about. I only wish we had found them sooner... highly recommend!

All About Autos was recommended to us by an auto parts store employee. We had an electrical issue with our headlights. We drove over right away, but didnt expect anyone to be there because it was so late in the afternoon. However, Diego was there waiting for us because the auto parts employee had called him and explained our problem. He was great. We had to return the next day in order to give him time to order parts. Had the van in and out in a very short time. We have been back for 3 other repairs. The staff is always helpful and very patient with our lack of knowledge in answering questions. Although they are very busy, we have never had to wait long to get in, nor for work to be completed. Very reasonably priced as well. We highly recommend All About Autos. You will not be disappointed.

This is the best repair shop! I was in Normal from out-of-state when my engine blew. Diego helped me explore all of my options and then worked hard to locate a used engine with low miles. He negotiated with the supplier the price and ensured that I was given a good warranty on the engine. I was extremely impressed with Diego. He was very honest and fair with me. He even met me on a Sunday morning - a day the shop is normally closed - so that he could inspect the engine one more time before I got on the road for my 10 hour drive home. Great place to get your car repairs done. Rates are very low compared to most shops.Example: A timing belt/water pump job for a 2010 Honda Odyssey at the local Honda dealer was $1800, their price was $650 installed for an Aisin kit of equal OEM quality. They also treat you with respect unlike many shops where you feel like theyre doing you a favor. Ive recommended them to at least 5 people and theyve all been very satisfied. Honest shop, if theres such a thing these day.. Speak to Tyler or Diego.

Took a used vehicle I was thinking about purchasing to AAAR&D and they saved me BIG time. They found the shady untold story the vehicle was telling under the spit and shine. Tyler and Danny completes an objective analysis on the vehicle and were awesome in helping me determine this probably wasn’t the best vehicle to pull the trigger on.

Originally I was disappointed with exterior detail and a few aspects of the interior on my premium detail and so I left a poor review and explained as much. I probably should have expressed my disappointment to them to give them a chance to fix it but I had a busy schedule and knew I wouldnt have time to get it fixed anyway. After posting said review I received a call from the owner (very polite) saying he was sorry and that I could bring it back and get it 100% redone, because of my schedule I couldnt. Instead he and I decided on what would be fair refund considering the work that had already been done. I was rather disappointed originally but the owner handled the situation very professionally and made it right. In the end I would chalk my poor detail up to a bad day which happens for any business but was handled appropriately which gives me confidence that if I came any other day it would have been perfect as all other review indicate.

They were very friendly and fast. Diego understood my problem and was able to give me my car back the next day so I could have it for work any my childs daycare. I would do business again plus theyre so close to my house I can walk it. This place is amazing!I purchased my vehicle back in September and Diego has been my mechanic since. The customer service is amazing and the people are willing to work with you.Unfortunately, I had gotten an oil change and WalMart and it forced my engine to lock. Generally speaking, youre forced to get a new engine or car. However, Diego was able to get things worked out. I have been so grateful for the device that All About Auto provides. I’ve gone to a few auto body places in blono and All About Auto is absolutely the best I’ve been to. The staff are incredibly genuine and friendly. I’ve had problems with an oil leak and don’t have the funds to fix it so I have been getting oil changes about once a month. The owner (Diego) actually went out of his way to offer to show me how to do an oil change myself so I don’t have to keep paying for them every month. All around great costumer service and good people.
