Gosh, I love IKEA. Bought a shelf to place Rhaegal on and I am in love! Now, I have 3 pieces of IKEA furniture in my hobbit sized apartment

This IKEA is frequently out of stock on popular items, which is the reason for losing a star. Grab a bite to eat in the cafe upstairs—the Mac and cheese, Swedish meatballs with mashed potatoes, and chocolate cake are worth the stop! If you are a first time visitor, know that nights and weekends are peak times so be prepared to wait. The upstairs showroom does a great job of providing inspiration for living with a smaller footprint. Take pictures of the tags of items you want to purchase so you can easily find in the downstairs warehouse. There are several “shortcuts” through the store that can make your trip much shorter. Great display set ups, categorized per room/area such as kitchen, living room, bed room etc, which gives you a helpful visual. Very cool way to find items in warehouse. Also great options to build and see what items you would like in 3D on their computers. Friendly service and knowledgeable.

Built a custom hutch for our apartment on their computers and then walked down to the warehouse floor to grab all the parts. Helpful staff when I had questions but the place has about any style furniture to fill a particular need in any style house, apartment, or dorm room whether its extra food/plate storage or a bed frame with drawers to store away some extra clothes under... Also especially handy selection of frames for posters, photos, or even caricatures (12x16)from the nearby Nickelodeon universe ;)

Go weekdays if at all possible to avoid checkout lines. A few items I get always are : paper napkins in fun color or white. Price is so cheap vs other party napkins and they are much larger. Wine glasses and garment bags, I place extra glasses in a box in basement for larger parties. Garmet bags are great for suits or special dresses or since they are thin and I pack outfits for trips and place in suitcase for easy unpacking. Great place for palm plants. Decor inspirations are free !

I love this place. They have a great variety of items. If it was up to me, all of my furniture would come from them.

Got a lot of good stuff. I always love going to Ikea. However, I was disappointed that there were a lot of empty shelves and things that were just sold out or out of stock. Also the there was only one cashier at the checkout the entire time. When a second person did come, the first cashier left. Although the line moved fairly quickly, it still was unnecessary and avoidable if they had an extra cashier.

Great different kind of shopping experience... plus Swedish Meatballs. It can be very busy weekends with long checkout waits. They do have inventory problems and listed inventory can be wrong. Returns are very slow.

Guess IKEA has financial issue, or doesn’t want you to return, otherwise IKEA won’t offer a return $17 for a unopened/new king size sheet set that worth $50, when you don’t bring your receipt.

The store has a good flow with lots of employees ready to help you. Meatballs are always a good choice. I recently tried the plant based and they were surprisingly meaty!

Went to try on office chairs...much is out of stock.Still achieved the goal of test sitting.Now to buy it .

First time ever at IKEA and I was pleasantly surprised. Sad they only had half of the chair I wanted even though it said they were in stock. Other than that the layout wasn’t bad and checking out was quicker than I expected. Found some great items!

Bro idk I think the toilets tasted pretty good also the shirt was comfortable and I dont think I can get the vaccine for everything you can get them together and I will become a new one that is here

I always forgot about this place...my other half always wants to come here for the batteries for some odd reason. But today we went to look for picture frames and outdoor stuff. they have a pretty limited frame section not quite as good as a micheals or at home but ok. The outdoor section is however...sneaky good. Great ...unique selection...stuff you wouldnt think of getting. Another thing they do is stage their stuff really well here...gives you a good idea of how to do some stuff. Not a bad day out.

First time visiting, and I had a wonderful time with my wife. We look forward to our next visit to buy furniture for our house. Love the little rooms they have setup.

SO DELICIOUS!!! Their dough is so AMAZING, its got such a great springiness and lightness. Definitely recommend the brown butter, cold-press, and nutella-filled. The flavoring of the vanilla bean filling was on lighter side, but still tasted wonderful! Ill be going back for the other flavors.

Cashiers are consistently very rude. Every time. Furniture pickup crew also horribly aggressive and rude.

Literally, everything for your home, office, kitchen, I mean everything you can think of, you can find it here[As seen in the pictures]. Most of the furniture are beautifully crafted and their customer services are great.

Ikea is Fabulous! If you have little kids definitely let them play in the childcare area. The prices are very reasonable. I love this store. It is always clean and the employees answer questions but dont drive you crazy while you are trying to shop

I try not to love this place as I prefer supporting small businesses but I can’t help myself. Loved their (maybe new?) order and curbside pick up option. Super fast and automated. Was glad To not have to go inside — I always fall for getting their hot dogs and other food :-) always delicious and affordable

I love IKEA! Always fun to look around. It was very busy, but the store has a nice flow to it and keeps everyone moving. The store was well staffed for customers who needed assistance. A lot of things were out of stock, especially the childrens/baby items. Store is always nice and clean.

No products get in a couple at a time and then cannot order online to pick it up and I have been looking for same item now for almost a year and yet nothing... Store is pretty empty in MN looks like they sold all the samples even. This is the worst customer service place ever makes me want to throw away my furniture from there for sure since you CANNOT get a cover for anything!!!! you have to drive over an hour only to find out it is out of stock, isnt that special.... and that is all they encourage you to do is to come back and try again every time if they have less than 5 items in stock!!! POOR< POOR

Got a sweet deal on a dresser. Similar one was going to run me over $200 off of Amazon or Wal-Mart, and while it would have cost double just to ship it an hour and a half away, it was easy to just swing in and grab it (and a few other things, of course).I just finished putting it together and filling it, and I have no concerns with how stable it is, unlike my old Mainstay dresser which was actively falling apart shortly after assembly.

Ikea is great. Its quite an experience going here! I get so much inspiration for decor when I shop here. They have everything you could possibly want. But it is a commitment to visit! Plan on at least a couple hours, not just to navigate the space, but also to navigate the crowd. Its almost always busy when Ive been there. Thats a good sign, though. They have a good variety of product and something that fits most price ranges.

So, I normally love IKEA but this was an underwhelming visit. While the showrooms were all set up, many of the items on display were out of stock and unable to be ordered. It was very here are a lot of things you would like to purchase. You cant actually buy them but heres what they look like. We walked through the gigantic maze of a store for 2 hours and spent perhaps 50$. Every piece of furniture we wanted was out of stock. Save your Ikea trip for 2022.

🐾🐺 I finally found a husky that wants to be my friend and stay with me. IKEA should be voted the best maze in Minnesota. We kinda feel we are in real life experiment being lab rats looking for cheese (the exit). Highly recommended vegan candies too like the Dala Horse or Sour Viking candies! 🐭🌽🍬PS: new 1 hour wait line before the ride at the entry of the building, wearing masks under 90°F and social distancing fun! 👍

Great I just went in to use the bathroom. The area was clean and they had plenty of soap and toilet paper. Great job !

Normally I love IKEA but today beings the first time using the pickup option I was not happy. First the drive up was blocked so got out of the car thinking that that is what I needed to do then after being rudely told I needed to remain in my car and drive up went to my assigned spot and the person just pushed the cart at my car and said there you go.My understanding from the web page is that they load the items into your car.... I have never done a curbside pickup at any business and had them just shove my items at me. Better signage is needed and the employees need to treat customers with more respect.

We loved the Decor planes, Everything is useful and worth it, Specially Kids section is best. Reasonable products.

IKEA, its always there for you, a home away from home. Get the meatballs.

If I could give a negative, I would. We needed to pick up 4 legs for a couch we bought a week ago. We got the exact location of the legs...but the isle was closed. 30-45 min wait they said. WHAT?!? Come back tomorrow, they suggested? NO! Drive around to some other spot and theyll bring them, then they walked away. We dont know where to go. WE WILL NEVER SHOP IKEA AGAIN! Your service SUCKS! You staff is lazy and rude! I want you to take the couch back and never see your horrible store again!!!

When you need a weird sounding named piece of furniture, then you know where to go.Love this place. Even if you dont need anything. You can wander around the showcases and then end up buying something. Food court is still selling delicious food and the deli after the registers is still selling those hotdogs 🌭 at insanely cheap prices. Either way, youll have fun giving this place a look-around.

Has made new displays, separated since departments, looks nice. I always find something to bring home!

1st time in store Ive shopped online but not the same! I should rented a truck.

I went out to IKEA today, having a $10. birthday coupon to use. Upon arrival we got something to eat, and were pleased with the value/quality. We then proceeded to walk through the store, and we were surprised at how poorly stocked the shelves were, and how oversold things were. Wed gone hoping to get a mattress topper and bedding.We left without even using the coupon. Disappointing.

Pretty chaotic and stressful checkout but overall amazing store, make sure to eat at their dining hall! super cheap and great quality. lots of vegetarian options!

This place needs new management. 3 employees working the self checkout, 1 working registers. It took me 5 minutes to find the bed I was looking for and then I stood in line for 35 minutes. Watched one employee push a single cart across the building, only to see him come back with the same empty cart a minute later. One employee was going through the massive line at checkout picking up bags in crates. Is anyone interested in working? Does anyone care? Horrible

I was hoping for breakfast. They quit that and serve lunch instead. Cheap place to eat. I love the meatballs and salmon. Other than that, everything else seems reasonable. I go there mainly for food.

IKEA has the widest variety of furniture and goods for a home that can be imagined. Their product lines vary from cheap and inexpensive, to rich and robust. Weve used their Hemnes products in our homes for years. The 4 out of 5 stars is a current rating, based upon their stock levels. Almost everything we wanted on our latest trip was out of stock. I understand that with global shipping and material challenges, there are bound to be outages, but it is having a significant impact on their stock at the moment, with most of the items that caught our eye completely out of stock.

Please thank your cafe employees for saying Have a good one Instead of Enjoy your food so, you too us the correct responce. 😅 Some of the things I wanted were out of stock, but they were popular items and probably held up because of covid.

Great place to get deals, return process is brutal…. I was #7 in line and even with 3 return windows open I had to wait 30 minutes to get a simple return covered. Just ordered the wrong size frame

Love that we have an Ikea in Twin Cities! It does get crowded sometimes but we often go right when they open and skip the second floor room displays. Been frustrated lately that they are often sold out of various items and online shopping is not reliable. Wish their stock was more consistent.

Horrible experience! Computer says all in stock but when you go on the floor and pick up the items, its GONE. We have to change the color 3x and says the same thing that all items are in stocks but NOT. They have to do better with their stocking as it gets so frustrating going up and down, up and down and the items are not available. The only best part of the trip was the food!

Loved the shopping experience as well as the quick lunch of meatballs and vegetable balls! Daim dessert, a yum!

I wish they sold paint so I could watch it dry...which happens faster than any other experience that you will have at this store.

They gave us someone elses order on pick-up; we went back and had that corrected. They are also continuously out of stock of most everything worthwhile. I appreciate that the company paid its workers last year during the pandemic even when the stores werent open, and think thats a special and rare thing (that should not be rare). Everyone is having supply problems, but Ikeas seem comparatively extreme, and the company could do more to make it easier for the customer under these circumstances. For instance, the website does not provide you a way to limit your search to whats in stock, so you waste time and energy on clicking through to items that it doesnt have (and again, it hasnt got much at all). As someone with low immunity issues, Id also appreciate if the staff person who handles pick-ups wore a mask. Ikea is a good company, so I hope that it gets its act together.

I would give 5 stars, but Im sure Covid has affected their stock like everyone else. The floor is pretty empty in areas and not very IKEA feeling and stuff is temporarily unavailable.I also couldnt figure out how to get out after we got to the warehouse because everything was roped off haha

Out of stock of every single one of the many warehouse items we selected while shopping, with no notifications anywhere on the display models. Only two registers open. And its not like theyre truly good exactly, but they were even out of meatballs?!Ive never seen the store anything like this. Very weird. If you tend to check other stores and then depend on Ikea to have a pleasant-but-cheaper alternative, I might suggest that you change your order of operations.

Love the layout (upstairs for visualization, downstairs for individual pieces) love the variety among their products. Only dislike was that my cart wheels kept drifting to the left 😅

Horrible return process. Two people working the counters with 10+ people in line. The prices are good but don’t buy it if you think you will want to return it. You will have to wait 30+ Minutes.

This place is like a shoppers heaven! You will find so much stuff you thought of in the middle of the night and think yes this is exactly what I need. Highly recommended to go this place before even stepping in your new place. I wish took pictures but totally forgot. Also check out the restaurant you will enjoy it

It is surprising to see a mall that shows such disregard for social distancing and COVID protocol. Right across from this is mall of America having such good precautions ! Moreover, having visited ikea in two other continents in the last months, I am surprised that that they fail so miserably on this important and sensitive aspect in the current time compared to their own siblings in other countries. There is no reinforcement on social distancing other than reminders, why? You’re doing much better in the other stores in Europe and Asia, why lax here?

I always love shopping IKEA to get interior design ideas. Great products, well presented. Marketplace on the first floor is full of wonderful household organizing products. Not busy, masks required, easy to social distance. Very comfortable experience.

I like Ikea and the things that it sells. I also like their restaurant. However, I dont like when they dont have enough cashiers working. Yesterday when we were ready to cash out they had one cashier working and 20 people were in line. I went to find another employee and said please call a manager and ask for another cashier. Another cashier never came. Finally, another irritated customer in line with me did point out that at the far they do have a self service cashier area. As I was leaving the store I had an employee or two ask me how were things today and I told the truth. They were very sympathetic and they said they would share it with a manager. Hopefully next time I go to that huge store they have more than one cashier working at a time. Otherwise when we were doing our actual shopping before we went to the cash stand, we dealt with two employees who were knowledgeable and they answered all of our questions, they were helpful.

IKEA is a great to store that has many, many, many options. The stock was pretty picked over today and we had a hard time finding the stuff we had come to get. We ate lunch at the cafeteria. For $16.11 we each had swedish meatballs, veggies, mashed potatoes and linginberries plus a fountain drink. It was yummy but we thought maybe the meatballs had shrunk since there previously.

Along with campaigning for a Whole Foods grocery store, the Quad Cities needs to raise the roof in demanding for an Ikea store here.I know people make light of Ikeas flat pack furniture but that doesnt stop them from returning over and over for there home needs. Prices are reasonable and the selection is extensive. I personally travel the distance and spend the night to shop at the Chicago lands stores. The quality and uniqueness of there selection makes it worth the trip. Better to go during the week day mornings because the crowds are extensive on the weekends. Ikea is a travel destination on its own for many. Where else can you buy a complete kitchen suite and a reasonable priced plate of Swedish meatballs?

The staff were very happy to help and was helpful. The food in the cafeteria was delicious but the sides portions were small. There were only 3 small size salmon balls where given wish I had more. So I went to the area that sales them but the only had chicken no salmon balls. I got the chicken one. I really miss the place and I am happy they are back open again. Will be coming again.

Best furniture store ever. You can wander around buy(choose) loads of decent/high quality furniture and then eat, pack everything, check out and go build a new room, desk, chair, whatever. Friendly staff make it easy, good prices, especially on food.

Lots of stuff is out of stock and over sold due to Covid right now. If you where planning to come and get your furniture that day, you may want to rethink your plans. Most items can be ordered.

I love the food areas more than the shopping here! Swedish meatball entrees are delicious every time. Good breakfast for a cheap price. Good desserts, including the best frozen yogurt in the downstairs food court.

The food that is Swedish inspired is pretty good too!The employees that I came in contact with are friendly and helpful !There is also a place to drop off your kids well you shop! One of my favorite places for design ideas and purchases. Very contemporary and nice assortment of kitchen, linens and drapes Many furniture items are temporarily unavailable, probably because of the Covid effect on shipping and manufacturing. Feature rooms so you can see the scale of the furniture in a reasonable space. Easy returns even with no receipt which results in a store credit. I bought the billy bookshelves and they look almost as good as when I bought them 17 years ago.

My 1st time there and was on a mission so only got to see a small part of the place. But! I did get 2 new plants and the shelving I wanted. So great place I gotta go back when we have more time

Its an Ikea next to the Mall of America. The place is always neat and organized with beautiful displays to look at. Always a nice trip to buy something for a room or the home.

IKEA?… More like a run-down Walmart. Nothing is in stock, and if it is it could be anywhere in the store because it is so disorganized. Good food, but most most of the menu was also out of stock. They should honestly be embarrassed. Found 20 things I wanted to get, and walked out with 3 because they didn’t have anything in stock. Employee told me their normal shipment is 5 trucks, but they’ve only been getting 2 trucks. Will not be returning and neither should you.

We love going to IKEA. Its nice & clean. But they need to work on putting signs to see for customers to see better in there check out lanes. Its hard to see the regular check out lanes and the express lanes. Also outside where to drive into and drive out to leave. Its hard to see where your leaving and coming into IKEA. They need to work on putting better signs out for customers. I hope they work on that soon. Because nobody well want to shop in the store if they cant see where there going. I am sorry to say that. But this needs to be addressed. People also need to work on helping customers more. I dont see that happening. Unless a customer asks the person working at the store for help. Other then that the people are nice &,helpful at the store at the information booth and checkout lanes. I am only giving it three stars until I see them make changes ⭐⭐⭐

Great place to get almost anything you want for decorating your house. Two stories of furniture and kitchen stuff. Only thing missing is bathrooms. Very large store not a place to go for a quick visit. Luckly they have hot food too! Clean open store. Stuff seems pretty well made.

Made a special 6 hour round-trip to shop here and was not disappointed.

Terrible return process. When i checked in, estimated wait time was 30 mins but ended up waiting over an hour because there were only 2 people working but only 1 person worked the express lane so I am being skipped constantly by people who checked in after me. Its so ridiculous that I am the next person for the non-express line and still got skipped because someone with lesser number of item just walked straight to the counter. I was patiently waiting and felt totally taken advantage of for being nice and not making a fuss. The return itself was quick, probably 5 mins so its ridiculous that I kept getting skipped. The employee could have told the other person to wait for their turn but they didnt.
