Very clean and has good variety of foods. It is more expensive than Walmart but that is to be expected.

Super Foodtown is a great grocery store to shop from in Bloomfield. For me, the layout inside is a little cramped around the produce section but the shopping experience was notbad. Ive shopped here before, but dont remember there ever being a super long line.But it can be that way. Not full-service, and I dont remember seeing self-checkout either.

Great customer service. In and out quickly. I love the food they cook so good.Only bad thing about it parking on the street, its a pain in the behind. Why they change it.. just have to be careful. Too bad if you dont know how to park.

Service at checkout is the only good thing about this grocery store. The produce and deli are not fresh. The selection is very limited. And the store is not clean. They dont even cover the basic requirements of a positive grocery store experience. Take your dollars elsewhere until they make drastic improvements.

Horrible front end customer service and definitely a decline since the last time I shopped here. Rather than lie (with an attitude) about why you don’t want to help a customer check out, just be honest…I’d appreciate it more. No reason for a supermarket that charges more than other mid range supermarkets to have employees who aren’t helpful. Cashiers and stockers are nice, food quality is decent and that’s about it. I’ll make the extra time to go to ShopRite/ACME/Whole Foods/Stop and Shop….never got the rude treatment I received at FoodTown at those places.

My experience at the Bloomfield Foodtown is decent this store is not very big but it’s clean and modern they have a decent selection and average prices but they do have sushi which is very good. But overall nothing special but nothing bad

My first time shopping to pick up at Frank Super Foodtown of Bloomfield. Jennifer was a wonderful person and outstanding employee! Another employee she was so helpful and outstanding employee too! The store is amazing peaceful and very clean spotless!! Always Respect the employees with kindness and always wear your mask as a customer!!

Dont get me wrong:Its a great store but the reason I dont shop there is is because it is not a full service Foodtown and only sells the bare essentials and most of what I buy at Shoprite and other supermarkets this place just doesnt have. However for the tennants in the apartments upstairs from this store its very convenient. Imagine going on a shopping trip in an elevator?

Friend detailing a visit on July 4. Walked in at 6:56P. Worker says theyre closed (closing time was 7P). Friend says no, its 6:56, thats not 7. Second person (manager) says if my friend was not done shopping by 7, she would shut off the cashiers register. At some point, staffer tells my friend they entered the store after 7. Friends receipt has a 7P timestamp.

A smaller footprint than other grocery store chains, but this is a supermarket chain. I usually find Foodtown in Caribbean inspired neighborhoods. Good, which means Bloomfield is diversifying. A large selection of Goya products. Also, a nice variety of Asian noodles so you dont have to use Italian pasta when making your stir-fry, & lo-mein. Theres a couple who sell fresh seafood, sushi; a hot foods counter are also in store. My favorite vegetarian burgers are sold here - Gardenburger. Walk around, there are sundries you might find you need (or just plain want.) I did.

Ive only lived in Bloomfield for two years now and Ive seen Foodtown bloom with their gluten free and vegan options. I love the fact that I can get a variety of these foods there and not have to I go running to another place for that.The lines are never long when I go and the cashiers are quick. They help pack the groceries a bit, but its mainly your responsibility.The shelves are always stocked and from what weve had in my household, the precooked food options are tasty.This may also be so random, but the store never feels like a freezer! Some groceries can be so cold or maybe thats just a me thing?! Ha ha.

The layout in the store was so picturesque... everything was within easy reach.

I had never been to a Super Foodtown and found their quality and selection very good. I found fresh, large collar green bunches there. I have been finding wilted and dirty collard greens or NO collard greens at Whole Foods, Shop Rite and Stop & Shop. Very happy I made the last minute stop here.

Really nice inside, my 1st official visit.... for bread. It was so fresh and soft. Parking was a breeze, free 30 minute parking in garage and the line moves fast. I will definitely visit again 👌

Don’t even bother. Almost every single employee has an attitude.. you’re better off taking the extra 5-10 minute drive to ShopRite. This is coming from someone who never writes reviews and works in Customer Service

The best Food Town Ive ever seen and been to! Super super CLEAN and Very friendly! Workers are very nice and helpful. Very well put and organized! The meat section is so clean I love it! The only thing is confusion about inside is the entrance and check out. They should really think about switching their Front end and moving it to the back because its so congested right there in the front when you enter. But then that. Well put and CLEAN!!!

I shop here for only a few items because its convenient. However, I find the prices somewhat higher than other grocery stores with the exception of Stop and Shop where prices are about the same.

I love this grocery store. It is a hidden gem. Forget whole foods. You can find just about anything you need here. Excellent produce selection and seafood sections. Not a lot of organic stuff if thats your thing, but everything else makes up for it.

Convenient location. Ive been here for years and havent even known it was here however due to its location being underneath condominiums.Clean nice store. Pricing was rather fair. Decent stock of things and great use of a smaller area.

Very cute little market. Has just about everything youll need. I like that someone is always around to offer assistance. They also deliver so thats a plus. The free (half hour) parking is clutch. Id give it 5 stars but honestly their prices are higher than almost every other area supermarket.

Tonight, the deli service person was very rude and offensive. I complained to the manager then I left the store. I went to shop rite I got service immediately.This was real unusual all the employees deli and other staff have always been good.If I see this low life there again; I will leave the store and not go back.

Produce especially fruit spoils within 2 days when you get it home. Cashiers dont have customer service skills they seem angry. The prices are astronomical for this area, you would expect these prices in Manhattan.

I was very impressed with how well Super Foodtown of Bloomfield was stocked for Thanksgiving shopping. That, coupled with managers who were checking with shoppers to ensure they were able to locate items on their lists - and friendly, professional cashiers - shows that our community has a true neighborhood grocery market.

This place upsets me for a few reasons. Primarily, that is an expensive grocery. It is not representative of the demographics of the communities that it is there to serve. Their produce is good for a day or two and goes bad very quickly. The layout of the store stinks. 5 stars to the sushi chefs and the fishmongers. Awesome awesome awesome.

Great selection of items. Theres a pretty large variety of goods to choose from. The biggest plus is that their hot food is REALLY good, kinda surprising.

To small not a supermarket

This supermarket is a great place to pick up a few items or a meal for the night. Its a little smaller than your average supermarket, but it tends to have everything you need. It has a nice deli with delicious prepared food and baked goods. Their pistachio muffins are so good!

Super helpful, usually have what I need in stock and the fresh Fish area in the back and the Sushi in the front are absolutely wonderful.

The Courtesy Counter has to be a little more courteous and less socializing with employees. We the Customers need to cash out and be rendered expedient service. This smaller, select grocer is a welcome relief from the craziness of larger stores. The parking is so nice, being covered and steps away from the entrance. You can arrange your bags in the car without being rained or snowed on! The produce section is smaller, but the veg thats there is much better (bananas actually ripen instead of rotting. ) Staff is helpful and knowledgeable, and prepared food is excellent!

They’re more expensive than Whole Foods in Montclair. The produce is never fresh, I think they buy old produce..screw that, shoprite much better.

Can usually find what Im looking for. Nice produce, breads & rolls, and the steam table is back!!! Its great to make a quick stop before going home.

Clean comfortable place for grocery shopping. They keep the store fully stocked. Prices are not the lowest prices but you get what you paid. I can find almost anything I need. The stuff is young and friendly. I specifically love their sea food department. A plus is that you can buy already cooked food here.

Always can find varieties of alkaline water, huge amounts of bakery goods, and their bathroom is easily accessible and clean.There problems with this market is it has least variety of organic fresh produce and their organic bananas barely turn from green to bright yellow color. The bananas dont last long once you bring them home.Lastly, they dont have a good amount of available shopping carriages.

I like the food at food town, especially the produce. Sometimes its s little hard to find things. And the staff is always fast and courteous.

Good prices fresh food

Super Foodtown has a an incredibly convenient location right next to The Bloomfield train station, and for those who are driving there is free parking in the parking garage directly behind it.While the selection at the store may not the the greatest it is a perfectly adequate grocery store. The store is clean, and well organized, but the prices are a little high. A better place to pick up a few things rather than the weekly groceries.

A decent supermarket. They are some what on the pricey end of the spectrum. Good for small trips & necessities. Good location with fresh fish & flowers.

Not a super huge supermarket but large enough to carry mostly anything you may want. Small fresh seafood counter, cooked food for quick lunch or dinner, parking in rear, lines are short. A little pricey but for the convenience and your time, or the lack thereof, its worth it. Also, can sometimes find items you wont see elsewhere.

I really only went there for the 5/$20 meat selection but that was taken away. For everything else theyre overpriced. Aldi and other local stores have better prices for groceries.

Nice range of fresh foods and is in a good location if youre living in Bloomfield. Pay for the convenience but not too much of a premium. Good meats section. Produce there tends to be pretty fresh and I also get some of my fruits from there as well.

I always enjoy shopping at Super Foodtown in Bloomfield, NJ because the cashier lines are short, so shoppers are in and out quickly!

Ughh, this place always has expired food and their meat and vegetable selection is horrible. I do not recommend, you can spend the same amount at whole foods and get better quality. Yes, the food is that expensive at Foodtown, and their customer service is subpar as well.
