Run Away from this unkempt, unclean store with rude and incompetent staff members. The store is overflowing with people and yet they have registers that are closed. If you have a question for a staff member you are rarely met with a smile and a factual answer. Instead you are. met with either indifference or infactual information. I will never ever visit this filthy store again. Do yourself a favor and travel to another county for a Home Depot store.

This location disappointed me twice out of 2 visit.- They do not have what they say online they have in store.- Lines are crazy, usually work like few cashier (i am talking its faster to go into another location kind of crazy).- No self checkout option.

I only came in here to use the bathroom after my near by storage closed..LOL It was clean and easy to get to. As a person with a small bladder I can appreciate a good public bathroom! Once Im done moving I might come back and take a look at the area rugs..I saw some pretty cool prints there.

Horrible service I caught the cashier trying to steal $30 from me on a return, She process the return didn’t tell me how much money I should be receiving back, She then proceeded to count the money a weird way that put my spider senses up and just hands me the money and she walks away, I look at the receipt and count the money she puts $20’s and then a $50 and 20’s and singles together it took me a second to realize that She short me $30 because of the way she handed me the money, I called her back and told her She shorted me She counts the money and “Say ohh yea We owe you more money”She then proceeded to.count the money again and just hands me the money, I asked for the MGR Robert comes very condescending no customer service skills nothing no apology on behalf of his worker after I explained to him about the interaction with the Cashier, called customer service number spoke with a Michele told her about the service She says well I’m going to file a complaint on your behalf I asked if a resolution team will follow up with me She says probably not. HOME DEPOT YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS ARE NOT ON POINT

Im giving it 1 star because the most of the lights were off!! How am I supposed to shop in the dark🤔. Manager said its something they are trying to help conserve energy trying be green. Not in the middle of the day. I cant shop for flooring in the dark. TURN THE LIGHTS BACK ON PLEASE!!

This place is so unorganized to the extent where my vocabulary was tainted. I placed and online order that I’ve paid for and behold the order should have been delivered between 10am-2pm did not happen. They send half of the order on the expected time and now I have to wait another 4 hours for the other half. Knowingly, the order was placed at the same time. Then when you call, the “Operations Manager “ can’t even give an update and ask me to call the call center. The store should have the most frequent updates. When I called the call center, they transferred me back to the Home Depot location. It’s very frustrating and now I’m delayed in packing because everything I needed wasn’t received. Why offer a service and knowingly you cannot fulfill the request and paid for the convenience by the customer.

This situation makes no sense and it demonstrates a disregard for their customers. One check out person could oversee (4) check out lanes, but instead, it takes forever to check out. WHY?

This is my favorite Home Depot to go to. The staff is always helpful. The sales associate made the process of a purchasing a washer and dryer a smooth one. I love my washer and dryer, and what can I say. I love laundry day!The cashiers are always friendly and they follow social distancing protocols.

Home depot has the worst Appliance installation and warranty service ever!! I bought this “brand new” washer and dryer set and 1st of all i had to wait 20 days for the installation to be done, 1st attempt supposedly there was a piece missing in order for the installation to be done. 2nd attempt after i took the day off from work to be home for them they called the same day to cancel the appointment because they didn’t have a driver available. One week after they finally came and did the installation but guess what? as soon as they left i wanted to use my dryer and i couldn’t because it was making a loud noise. I called several times the home depot customer service line for this issue and they wouldn’t find a solution for my problem until i had to scream out who ever was on the phone and they sent a technician to check on my dryer. The technician said that the problem was that they dropped the dryer either during the delivery or at the warehouse and after that the dryer wouldn’t have the Samsung warranty anymore then he told me call home depot again. I called again several times and here i am two month after and i still cant use my dryer because they cant find a way to solve customer’s issues. I totally understand that accidents happen but how come a big store like home depot does not have a plan B and not only that. They have a horrible customer service, i paid money for this “brand new” set and they gave me something broken and after all they make me feel like im asking them for a favor. I suggest everyone NOT TO BUY any appliance at home depot they are extremely irresponsible. This is so sad to say but i feel like they are just taking customers as a joke.

Okay. Nice folks... paint dept slow or non existent. Outdoor garden center double charged me for a $55 bug zapper costing me an extra hour in a wrap around line to get refunded immediately after check out. I waited as I needed that additional $55 off my debit card. Wompwomp. That said, it is close and they have stuff I need.

The guy in the plumbing department was so unprofessional. Another associate referred me over to the so called plumbing expert which seemed to inflate his head. Right off the bat, the guy is lecturing me on the way the pipe fittings were put together incorrectly. I asked him several times what he could suggest other than the current setup and all he wanted to do was to keep ridiculing me about the wrong piping. After like the fifth time of repeating himself, I finally told him I didn’t need his help and walked away. I got another associate who was able to help me in a matter of minutes. One of the worst experiences I’ve ever had as a customer.

Home Depot and their outsourced vendors are the extreme worst!!!!!! Purchase for install at your own risk!!!! I purchased a entry door(paid in full) in NOVEMBER only for the outsourced vendor company HOME DEPOT use to call and say they only have March 1st. available I called December, January and February to ask if they could install sooner, and if they had any cancellation. I was told NO we can only install my door March 1st. Only to get a call that they will be rescheduling my door install and I will have to reschedule.Im livid!!! because I had to reschedule, and I decided to give Home Depot a second chance I had this same problem with my other property to have a entry door installBe cautious

OMG.. I moved to Bloomfield and used to shop in the Clifton Home Depot. Now this is closer. Its terrible. One thing I need to mention. The STAFF are really great. No issues there so I gave an extra star. They are helpful and know a lot. There is no good inventory done so if online if they say there are 10 of something. Chances are there isnt .. or if they say they out of something, they still may have it. I ordered 3 tubes of plastic wood to be picked up in a locker. 3 hours later i cancelled and just went inside as i got no notification .. they only had 2 (they said they had several.) The worse thins about this store is you cant return anything unless you have the receipt!. I was told thats true in every store.. GUESS WHAT? In the Clifton HD, all they do is scan your item and KNOW which card you used and return you money.. Even if you pay cash as long as its not used they TAKE IT BACK and give you a store credit..

I go up front and ask someone at customer service and Im told no one was scheduled that day in windows! Im like what!! This home depot is usually pretty busy and poorly stocked in certain products (I can never find the proper fuses). Thankfully the staff still tries their best to help you.The line for the cashiers end up long all the time, but sometimes they will have enough cashiers to keep the line moving well.They have also been good with the pandemic and enforcing mask and glove rules, and they are probably low on cashiers since they need to use the people to monitor the line and the people entering and exiting.

I went in to the Bloomfield location looking for an affordable refrigerator on November 19th in the afternoon, and I must say the service I received from David was outstanding.He actually stopped and asked me if I needed help, took time and helped me in my attempt in looking for a refrigerator.It was just refreshing because I went to Karls Appliance prior and the service was subpar.I only walked out of Home Depot empty handed because I did not find one that fit my personal budget, but in the near future, I should be returning.

We ordered items online from this location to be delivered to our home. When the delivery man only gave us half of our order, he said he didn’t have the other half. We’ve called this store location several times now to figure out where the second half of our order is, and after sitting on hold and then finally having the phone ring, someone on the other end simply picks up the phone and then hangs it up. Now we have to go to the store in a pandemic to get someone to talk to us. If you are willing to charge us a $35 delivery fee, then you should give us all of the items we ordered or else answer us after spending hours on the phone trying to contact you.

Always enjoy shopping at Home Depot. Its not just for contractors and homeowners, either. Plants, project ideas, shelving units, household items. This Bloomfield, NJ location has very friendly and helpful staff. Ive encountered Martin on during checkout the two recent and occasions Ive been there. He was very helpful, and made great suggestions on a board that I needed. I life in another state, but when I am in New Jersey, Ill be sure to visit this friendly store.

The manager in the paint department was the most courteous, friendly, helpful person I have ever encountered in any store. He went above and beyond to help me, offered additional suggestions and advice and stopped twice what he was doing to walk me to the aisle I needed to go to, looked for what I needed and gave it to me. Simply because of his treatment, i would give this home depot 8 stars if I could. My only complaint about Home Depot in general is that on their website they state certain items are in stock in the store when in reality they are not. Unfortunately i drove 35 minutes to this location for that reason only to find out the items are not sold in store eventhough the website stated they were.

No curbside pickup! This service is offered on the website at this location, and my email confirmation said my order was ready for curbside pickup. However, when I arrived at the store I was told dismissively that they no longer do curbside pickup. I shared that I had my two small children with me and could not go into the store with them, since I didn’t bring their masks. I wasn’t going to leave them in the car on a 95 degree day either. I have cancelled my order and will never shop at this location again.
