Excellent Experience! When I was a single working mother and owned my own home, I had excellent credit. Every tax year I would get back between $5,000 - $10,000 and I utilized those funds responsibly. Each year I would buy new furniture for one room in my home at a time and use the left over funds for Christmas, school supplies and rainy days. By the time I married someone whom I thought could be trusted, I had new furniture in every room and money in my accounts. At the end of that relationship I had to pack up my car with my clothes and drive over 1,800 miles to get safely away from him. He felt entitled to keep everything I had worked my whole life for including stealing my retirement funds and destroyed my credit. I had to start over at ground zero. Home Choice allowed me to furnish my new home and rebuild my credit as my payments were on time each and every month. The staff is always wonderful, seem to really enjoy their jobs, and they allow you to make payments either in the store (which they make into a fun atmosphere) or over the phone for convenience. We have always loved our experience with home choice. They are flexible as long as you are honest. My wife and I have a New Table A new couch and a PlayStation 4 all financed through home choice. Brandon is our Representative! I love working with these guys. I walk into the store and I just feel welcome!!! Since working with home choice there is a noticeable difference in my credit score. They are always willing to work with people regardless of the history. We all have got to start somewhere so why not go to a place where the account reps make you feel you are home.

Employees are super easy to talk to. They dont try pressuring you into buying stuff. They even negotiate if something is on the floor and has a scratch or dent in it. They are very welcoming here and treat you like family.

The staff and products are amazing, I have been with them for 5 years this place furnished my entire house, love this place and the people at home choice, I highly recommend this place. Cant thank you guys enough. O and by the way I do not work here as one was saying only the employees are rating, straight up b.s. stop in you can see it for yourself . This is the Blaine location with Pam, Ken, Jimmy, Brandon list goes on, but never a bad experience, but I also never missed a payment.

I will NEVER do business with these people again. What started out as a pleasant financing experience turned into harassment and home visits. Bonnie and her people actually hopped in they car and drove to my house like some fuc***g gangsters after a few weeks of missed payments AND IVE BEEN PAYING ON THIS BED SET OVER A YEAR!! Then embarrassed me and left a hand written note on my door for my neighbors to see. Hey if you can put your furniture on layaway I’d recommend it cause these folks are a beast

We have hit a hardship with my husband getting out of the army and trying to figure out where all of our money is rn from the va and after the hail storm we had this week our car was damaged so I told them I needed 3 more days as I had the funds but I needed a car to work and he said if I don’t pay it by tonight then there going to come repossess the furniture and he sends people to your house randomly to get you too pay and is not willing to work with customers who are struggling. I would not go here they act great at first really sell you on it and there flexibility but then after you miss one payment they hound you I get 6+ calls a day. Worse business ever.

I have used HC for four months now and really have loved that they are nice and professional, HOWEVER the fact that they do not offer anything for online paying or setting your account is a HUGE down fall. I was currently in accident, spent two days in the hospital and I call to inform them and let them know may payment will be two weeks late and get told there is nothing they can do for me unless I come into the store. I have a toddler and no car right now and they said find a way in or by Friday it will be sent in to the credit company as a late payment and effect your credit. If services were offered for online this wouldnt be a issues. Trying to rebuild your credit and everyone offers online payment and support but you guys. Really sucks.

Worst experience ever. They’re terrible. Never shop here. Unless you want to be called names harassed. My bed had A 20 year warranty. It lasted 2 years.

Updated Review:Last review was after 3 years of going to this store, its now been about 7 years and many thousands of dollars spent. Customer service is still top tier. These guys have worked with me through the good times and the bad. Theyve helped me through home remodels, life changes, and hardships. Most recently, they helped me get a new PC! *****BEWARE.**** SCAM. This store is a scam. These people will charge you three time the products worth. They will not return the item after you realize you where scammed. They will charge you the state max 23% interest. Their products are of the worst quality and grade. These positive reviews online are employees.My wife is mentally challenged and when she walked into the store to see what they offered. They high pressure sold her an entertainment system. When she tried to return it they told her no and used intimidation tactics in order to have her leave with the item. When I called the store to talk to a manager. The store manager AJ threatened me.Do your self a favor stay away and tell your friends to do the same.

I would like to share something here, here are a few examples of a business that does well. You sell products at a superior quality, any warranties with the product depending on the price of the item should be met in a timely fashion, and extended warranties should immediately replace defective merchandise. Give discounts on your products, and always put the customer first. Here are a couple of examples of bad business, sell merchandise that is overly priced, sell a warranty that cost more than any other retail store. Put customers on a waiting list when they bring back a defective product, make them wait sometimes a month to replace the defective product. Make your warranty where its going to take a lot longer to replace an item instead of making it where a replacement should be immediate, and still over charge for the warranty. To sum this up, Im an example of why places like this should drastically improve their warranty, and return-replacement policy. 1st LG TV, suppose to be 4k HDR, bought a PS4 Pro from GameStop, the PS4 Pro said the TV doesnt support 4k HDR. Didnt get what I actually bought, got a replacement, and TV ghosting developed in the screen after only 11 months. Got another replacement, this one has not given me any problems so far, Im glad the store manager went out of his way to help me with this, but it took 3 times to get it right. Sometime later on, went back to the store, we got some furniture, and then a Xbox One X. The furniture is fine, but my Xbox One X had issues, no display through the HDMI port, nothing could fix it. 2 weeks later, got a new one, 2 weeks after that, the new one did the same exact thing as the 1st one did that gave me problems. I know some people would ask, what did you do to it, my answer is nothing. I took it out of the box, it was suppose to be bran new, but the damn tape that Microsoft uses to seal the box shut was already cut open. Same thing as the 1st one, but it was a display model, so you mean to tell me that an open box item is worth 800 bucks that cost 500 dollars anywhere else? An open box item is suppose to cost a lot less than a bran new system in that box it came in that has never been opened, AKA, tape not cut or tampered with in any way. I do appreciate what the store manager has done for me, but at this point, when everything is paid off, Im done, and I dont think I will be coming back in the near future. Oh, and just FYI, because the faulty merchandise, Im a little paranoid now, so I went to GameStop, and bought a refurbished Xbox One X for 317 dollars, I also bought a extended warranty for 49.99, and that cheap warranty allows me to bring the system back if anything goes wrong with it, and guess what, I get a bran new one within 10 minutes of being in GameStop.

I never had a problem until I missed one payment due to my son being hospitalized. I called when he was released after a week. I apologized and told them when I would be able to pay in a week. The following week they send me a repo notice seriously. I called and paid my bill and they were very rude to me. Go somewhere else for your products

Horrible place. Its all good in the beginning and their super nice and willing to work with you up until you hit a hardship of any sort, and the first time they are willing to give you a one month extension but after that they no longer care or are nice, they will start calling you non stop from all sorts of different phone numbers, constantly harassing you about making your payments, then they start to make visits to your home but you can consider them trespassing on your property they wont stop until you voluntarily surrender the items youve rented from themor they have to get a Replevin order to get their items back and any wrongful repossession by them is actionable in damages awarded to you . I actually spoke with a lawyer and Minnesota law does not technically recognize rent to own as far as furniture or miscellaneous items goes and quite literally according to this lawyer it is illegal that is why there is no rent a centers in Minnesota. They also have nothing but very bad compliments on the BBs website, this place is not worth doing business with or anything like that. I will never recommend anyone to them ever again or ever be customer of them ever again. Its basically highway robbery. A fly by night crooked shady business.

Rough day yesterday, phone junked out on me. I have metro pcs so I cant just go get a new one on lease or got buy a new one out right so thought Id see what Home Choice was all about. Very upfront about everything, I recently bought a very nice 4k tv from them because A: i couldnt afford one, and B: my credit is not the best. There was not any high pressure sales and they do call me every once in a while if i miss a payment. Overall i have had a great experience with them and the only reason i will not give them 5 stars is because of the price was a little higher then the going rate on my tv. Me and my wife have been going here for 4 years. I dont write reviews but some things have to be said.1. I am not an employee .2. When I started with them, Jimmy the sales guy (now the store manager) I told him Im there to get my credit score up. I couldnt get a cc at that time as my score was 480 due to 2008 Killin us . Im now at 680 as of this review. They have always explained my finance charge the mark ups and the payment arrangements before I sign the contract. About every 6 months we have them pull up a soft hit to see where are credit score is. To the poster that said they charged 3x as much, this is the cost of them making deals with customers with low credit scores walking out with hundreds if not thousands of dollars worth of merchandise and helping your credit score.3. AJ is there sales lead now and has never treated us or anyone in the store while we are there badly or been intimidating. The only scenario where these guys and gals have been intimidating is when a customer hasnt payed on a bill for weeks if not months. Even when its been weeks they try to work it out as long as you pick up your phone and talk to them considering they take a hit if they have to come repo it.4. If you have an issue with there collections person walk in the store and talk to which ever person you feel comfortable with, I have seen that done twice now and it works out for everyone. And yes there have been a couple bad apples in there collections dept but as long as you talk with any of the sales team, then they fix it.Finally, you know what your getting into before you sign the contract. They help rebuild your credit score and DONT MISS PAYMENTS. And if you have to, then talk to them, dont keep on swiping reject call when you see there number. Maybe you were sick too many days or your going on vacation whatever is going to short you and you want to skip a payment. Call them or talk to them in person. They always work it out. Oh and dont be a douche.Oh and Im the big ass native american CUSTOMER and I come in there every 2 weeks on fridays with my wife if you want any more reviews about this place.
